What's the most minimalist distro, now that Damn Small Linux is dead?
Tiny core is great. I'm using it.
Pic isn't my desktop. I'm going to try a new DE soon.
Tell us your experiences with chinkphones.
do you hack /g/?
Thoughts on these?
I need them mainly because I live in a kinda noisy place and have to study, but I'm also interested in the sound quality.
Bose is ridiculed as the "no highs, no lows" company, which is pretty easily noticeable to anyone who experiences even entry level quality equipment from a reputable company, but conversely they seem to have the noise cancelling thing down. Whether they're worth the $300 depends on your situation; I know frequent travelers who swear by the things, but there's also a multitude of earbuds and plugs options out there.
If isolation is your priority, apparently their earphones are even more effective:
The only Bose product that ever sounded good, and I mean truly produced fantastic sound from source material, was the original AM-5 AcoustiMass system which was really the first proper 2.1 system ever made. They introduced those back around 1984-1985 and they were just fucking awesome.
Everything before that and everything since has never sounded like much, typically way too much bass and midrange due to shoddy design (they had the right idea, they just never seemed to truly perfect it) with their acoustic baffles/tubes, and generally they are the Apple of speaker hardware:

>The OpenSSL project team would like to announce the forthcoming release of OpenSSL versions 1.0.2f, 1.0.1r. These releases will be made available on 28th January between approx. 1pm and 5pm (UTC). They will fix two security defects, one of "high" severity affecting 1.0.2 releases, and one "low" severity affecting all releases.
Are mtk cpus really so shitty or is it just a meme from the past?
They jack up their benchmark scores by putting more cores than apps support.
Like AMD and the MOAR CORES approach, but they do have lower power consumption and heat output.
The phones however get awful third party firmware support, mainly because they are used in cheap chink shitphones, that arrive on the market with obsolete 4.x/5.0 android and are never updated beyond that. There are still chink phones selling with android 3.x.
Old thread is kill.
Does anyone know of any 240mm radiators that are less than 270mm long?
Why are all free video editors crap?
Why can't just one of them be as simple to start and use like Sony Vegas?
Blender runs like crap on my machine and doesn't look anything like a functional video editor from the get go, I don't want to have to spend hours learning from tutorials on how to get it working well
Replacing my aging fx6100, stuck with this mobo, suggest me cpu for gaming between 8150 and 8370. Im thinking 8320 + oc. My mobo is sabertooth, so oc is no problem.
its when you get a AMD processes and put it were it belongs

What are you working on, /g/?
I'm making a video game for fun in C++ using the SDL library.
Anyone got an input on how vertical sync works and how to manage it ?
If I activate it using the SDL flag, it just slow down everything in my game. how should I manage that ? Is there a good way ?
How have you dealt with living in a post-privacy world, /g/?
Me? I've stopped visiting /pol/ since I only went there to troll stormfags and shitpost anyway but don't want to be guilty by association.
