>He bought a 290
>buying the best bang for buck graphics card
>implying there's something wrong with that.
The only thing is now you can maybe get a 390 within 10 dollar price of a 290, so the 390 is a better buy sometimes, but it's pretty rare.
Why is this showing up? I don't want Windows 10, and I will never get Windows 10. It sounds like it's already getting ready to install it next time I boot the PC. How do I stop this nonsense?
What makes a good monitor?
If on a budget, what should one prioritize? For example, if one's PC can't pull 1440 gaming with FPS high enough for 144hz to make sense, which one should be dropped first (ie. 144hz 1080p or 60hz 1440p)?
If you're on a budget just save a bit longer so you can afford a good 1440p 144hz monitor.
It's well worth saving for, a good monitor will last a long time and is a buy once cry once type thing as far as I'm concerned.
I am thinking about getting a traditional celluar phone. Just to make my life simpler and have less distractions. The only thing I am really going to miss is drivedroid and duolingo. And possibly instagram because of all the cute azn sloots I follow (even though I can always check their profiles on my computer). How long did it take you to get used to it?
Just switched from Intel to AMD... was it a mistake? Do I overclock?
Went from the pentium g3258 (4.4GHz OC) to a fx-8350. Did I fuck up by going with AMD?
The shills will try and tell you otherwise, but the 8350 is only going to get better now that games are starting to use more cores. The G3258 is literal shit, even overclocked that much.
Proper technology thread
What Android launcher are you using? I don't like a stock one on Galaxy core, also tried Google Now launcher (pic related), but I want something more customizable.
Do people really expect shit like this to sell?
It's been 2 months and this fool didn't even seem to lower the price going by the other listings.
Of you haven't noticed most people think their used computers and parts are worth way more then they are.
The average normie doesn't have a grasp on how quickly technology becomes outdated.
What's the comfiest IDE for programming out there? Something simple and super comfy as fuck.

This kuck government is on the way out anyway. Based Le Pen is taking over to exterminate the mudslimes.
General BSD thread, what BSD do you like to use and why?
>mac os x
That's a stretch...
Anyway, that's the one I'm using. But wouldn't call it a BSD. BSDs are UNIX by heritage, OS X is UNIX by certification and only has some FreeBSD code sharing.
>FreeBSD makes an excellent desktop operating system with a little bit of work.
>2nd Year Chemical Engineering B.S.
Pretty much failing my Organic Chemistry classes. Don't really think Chemical Engineering is for me.
Want to switch to Computer Science. I want to eventually program stuff and be a software programmer. Is this the right major to switch into or is it just a meme major?
What are closed loop water coolers for if they perform worse than air coolers but cost more?
It's about keeping temperature fluctuations to a minimum amplitude. You'll notice that idle and load temperatures are at a smaller delta than air. Pure air setups can be a lot louder at times than closed loop.
>Pure air setups can be a lot louder at times than closed loop
And CLCs can be a lot louder than any decent air cooler 100% of the time. There is no CLC in existence that can offer the noise levels of a huge dual tower air cooler with decent fans. Pump noise is unavoidable.
