I actually liked this microphone. Apparently, many others did, too (they are sold out everywhere I look)
Anyone know a site that still sells them, or a replacement product; I prefer the operator style as opposed to lapel mics. the cheaper lapels seem to pick up too much noise.
If you go to the link in the image, they have an identical ``similar'' product just below where it says they are sold out.
Newfag here, I'm wondering if it's possible to create an umbrella that can connect to your smartphone and open up automatically when the forcast calls for rain.
I managed to find an old computer on the side of the road and took it home, only problem is the only monitor I had broke shortly after using it.
How do I remote into it from my laptop?
It's about 10 years old and running xp. I've tried using an Ethernet cable with my laptop to try and rdp into it but even though before the screen broke I turned the firewall off and enabled remote access, it just doesn't want to connect.
It will probably be another week until I'm able to pick up another monitor
Has logical increments gotten cringey as fuck now that they even release videos of builds?
Falcon is like a skeleton with no voice
You're chicken pot pies are almost ready. You must be exhausted after a long day of important computer work.
The material design cancer has now spread to Google's search engine.
What do you think of it, /g/?
jokes on you i like material design and im an advocate.
its simple and works.
its not cluttered and conveys information very neatly.
What's the best tech major going to be in 5 years (can have business stuff)? I'm about to select my major and I want to try to position myself at the forefront of something interesting and profitable when I hopefully graduate in 6 years.
Was going to do web design (already made several websites) but I think the field is oversaturated already, much less in half a decade.
Any /g/ suggestions?
Physician. Almost everything else will be heavily automated but ppl will always have the need of seeing a human physician;... plus their union is a fucking racket that no one can overthrow.
Why do people protect amd so much when nvidia is better? Isnt technology supposed to be about the better choice and not being hipster and supporting the (worse) underdog?
Nvidia has better software, AMD has better hardware, that's why AMD has the lead with sx12/vulkan and nvidia is struggling to catch up
Do you think the new iPhone will have a headphone jack (3.5mm).
Vote here familia
I'm a sales person always in my car. I have a Samsung Note 7 as my daily driver and I wanted a second line I can use for business calls and GPS. What would be the best budget smartphone to get for these tasks. I'm on Verizon.
>$100 installation fee for installing a fucking computer fan
How do you prepare for an Apple Event/Keynote?
i don't think i've ever watched an apple event or keynote, to be honest this is the first time i ever really thought about the concept, apple shit has never really been exciting or revolutionary, its just another sub-par brand that chisels the side of their plastic shit and charges an extra couple hundred for that to make up for all the worker suicides.
Let's talk about audio codecs.
What do you prefer? Do you care about licensing?
I personally download FLAC whenever I can, keep a copy for archiving and convert to Opus for listening.
i download everything at mp3 320kbits because even on my 2000€ setup i can't figure out the difference on a normal basis.
it's because most songs nowadays don't have the mastering qualities to shine in lossless formats
I just download whatever is available. I can't hear the difference between different bitrates above the "sounds like absolute shit" rate that you get on the radio and mp3s from limewire.
ITT We mourn/celebrate O L D A P P L E
Holy shit. How are normies or old people supposed to know how to close this window?
I just purchased this.
How do I Emacs
>Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say
No one is going to talk about the LG V20 Release at 9PM ET? iPoos are good but lets get some LG in here
just realized i don't have a serious email address and i've been giving shit like firstname.lastname@example.org to my university teachers for years.
what's a good free email service i can use to create a serious e-mail address? aol? it would be better if i can use android email apps to use the service.
posted this in /tesg/ and got redirected here: i'm a manbaby who got a job for the sole purpose of saving up to build a rig that can play skyrim/fnv with a bajillion mods, i currently have only bought the case, a Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case. I would like advice on the optimal hardware to get for running heavily modded bethesda games at playable fps with minimal stuttering, pls advise me. P.S. money isnt rlly that much of a issue as the majority of my paychecks are being saved to build this rig
Step one. Buy which ever gpu fits your budget.
Don't bother with anything less than $200
Step 2. Skyrim isn't well multithreaded so just get a 6500k
Step 3. /G/ isn't your personal tech support. Use fucking google like a normal person.
Get a CPU, a motherboard, ram for it, a nice (but not too nice, if it's only 1080p 60fps) graphics card, something to save it on, and something to power it
Throw it all in your expensive fuckhuge massive case and play
Okay /g/ how many programmers here make six figures, is that just a meme? If you do make six figures how did you get to that stage, college, self taught? I'm curios because I've wanted to pursue a career in computer programming forever now, the wage won't stop me but who would complain with living the comfy six figure life.
Image 100% unrelated.
i encrypted some files using Misty1 encryption algorithm and put the on the cloud
did i do good?
>In cryptography, MISTY1 (or MISTY-1) is a block cipher designed in 1995 by Mitsuru Matsui and others for Mitsubishi Electric.
>However, it was successfully broken in 2015 by Yosuke Todo using integral cryptanalysis; this attack was improved in the same year by Achiya Bar-On.
So I decided to try RHEL and found out you have a "trial period"
What the fuck? Do I have to pay for free software? Are those guys literally Jews?
Why would people allow them to pull a microsoft jewery like that?
Redhat is government/spooks Linux. I believe that technically they aren't selling you the system but rather support for the system which is bound to the license, although I could be wrong.
Whats up /g/?
So Im in college for I.T. Security and I find it completely fascinating. The problem that I face is that I have no knowledge on coding or reading code. I've tried to read books, codeacademy, apps, but none of seems to stick.
I tend to learn better when I can get feedback from any questions I may have, especially when it comes to what each command does and how it works. What I'm wondering is, is there anything short of meeting with people to learn and get feedback? I work during the day and Im taking this semester off to do what it is I'm...

Why is this bullshit allowed?
I'm not even a rich fag, you can find cheap 4k TVs with relatively low input lag this time a year as they clear their stock to make way for the 2017 models. I have a cheap Acer G257HU that was 250 bucks and my S7 I guess I kinda splurged on release but I didn't out right buy it.
Why does /g/ prefer smaller than 5.5" phones?
because i've got a big dick
so what's the deal with gentoo?
is it like Linux for anons?
I don't want to fall for the Samshit meme, but I'm lost when it comes to phones. What do I buy in the next month?
