All those frequent images floating around on 4chan, who makes them?
My headphones smell worse them my asshole.
How do I get rid of the smell?
I tried using 91% isopropyl alcohol, didn't work.
>inb4 >implying windows is successful
other than xbox, which was doing well until MS shot themselves in the foot, has MS made ONE (1) successful product?
>Apply for a job with a major ISP
>Need to make an account to apply
>ISP emails my password in fucking clear text
Why the fuck is this allowed? This shit is unacceptable from a fucking private tracker, let alone a massive multibillion dollar company
Installing TOR after years of no usage... is it safe to use or will I have the MI5 straight on my tail??
Will use it within a hidden veracrypt container and wipe the RAM after done...
Pic sorta related.
Tfw I missed out on getting a free copy of Windows 10
Why doesn't YouTube have a quality switch in the browser on Android?
It's basically 360p all the time.
Anyone know a workaround to watch HD video in Chrome or Firefox on Android?
I don't want to use the app.
>It basically steals all the information on your phone, it intercepts every call, it intercepts every text message, it steals all the emails, the contacts, the FaceTime calls. It also basically backdoors every communications mechanism you have on the phone
Just fuck my security up real quick
>finds out about vulnerability
>patches it for every single iPhone within two weeks
I don't know what you expect them to have done that they didn't do, and I don't know who you expect to have done any better. Look at how Google handled Stagefright: they made a patch that didn't work, then they made a patch that did work, then it had to go to the manufacturers for approval, then it had to go to the carrier for approval, and...

> Look at how Google handled Stagefright
Google didn't claim their OS is secure. There's the difference between Google and Apple approaches: if something critical is discovered in Android, you can think what you can do to protect yourself: maybe you'll flash the AOSP, maybe you'll build in yourself, maybe you'll ask your IT/security guys to handle it. With Apple, on the other side, you have no means to protect yourself until Apple steps in.
There are no secure platforms. Just more secure platforms and less secure platforms. That's just common sense. Frankly, if they're responding to vulnerability disclosures and actually issuing patches in response, Apple is already head and shoulders above pretty much every Android OEM, let alone back-issuing them to phones from as far back as 2012.
Does torrentz have a replacement yet?
Motherfucking btdigg was taken down too
Chromebooks are the linux desktop
When will people realize that you don't have to reinstall windows if you just want to update your drivers just because you switched to windows 10 does not mean you can't update your drivers you stupid goddamn fuck type it into bing you piece of human trash. Unable to afford the latest and greatest, your battlestation is the 10 year old Dell your boss let you have. Your parts stores are yard sales and thrift shops, and you're seriously considering sexual favors to get a brand new monitor.
Because not everyone has the pocket change to afford LED lights.
My router. An old Pentium Pro running monowall because the CD drive stopped spinning up and my desktop drive is SATA. Too lazy/poor to look for replacement hardware. It does the job, delivers my full 60 megabits no problem.
Why do they call it touch disease?
I want to get more into programming and want to finally start learning Linux?
What's the best distro and desktop environment?
Currently looking at arch and Kali. Any opinions?
Are botnet masters the real alphas?
What's the point of making $80k/yr as a developer when people make $50k/month running a botnet?
Tell me more
I don't care about jail, I have my own prison
YOU CANT MAKE THIS SHIT UP
If you're not making 6 figures by the time your 30 as a programmer, you've messed up big time.
I'm trying to play Doom on a GTX 970 at 1080p.
Every video I see shows it running between 70 and over 100 fps on maxed out settings, but I can't even get a stable 60fps without bringing down the resolution scaling a bit
I also checked my 970's temperature during gameplay and it was reaching 90° C while all my other components were in the 30's and 40's.
Why is my card struggling so much when it should be playing Doom with ease?
What text editor would /g/ recommend? Ideally I'm looking for one that can be used offline, with spell checker, typewriter sound effects and customizable colors. I've searched far and wide and I can't believe how hard it is to find something that meets these criteria. Notepad++ comes close, but not quite. I asked /lit/ and one guy said Q10, which is almost perfect but I don't like that it can't be windowed and it's also problematic for my dual monitor setup. So I come here in desperation, hoping you guys might know some good software for writers.
Why are iPhones such a fucking joke?
This problem affects the 6, and not the 6S, and this is the case because the iPhone 6's chassis is too flexible. Remember Bendgate? Well, the chassis wasn't the only thing that was flexing.
The 6S' chassis is three times as strong. You've got little to nothing to worry about.
>mfw Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 with an Intel i7-7770k ES
go ahead, try and beat me AMDpoors, I have the lord of repeating numbers on my side, which multiplies both the IPC of my CPU and my GPU power by 7 times
Radeon 7770 is trips.
Your GTX 770 only has shitty dubs.
Fuck off nvidiot
which one do you prefer?
I am leaning toward google play music because I have an android and you get the integration that goes along with it, plus you can upload your own library and stream it just the same. Although Spotify is pretty legit as well.(And I like the app's UI) Then there's Apple Music.
All three are about the same price, and have the same selection of musics, just minimal differences in the UI and things like how GPM doesn't have a desktop client, but lets you upload your own library. You can play local files with Spotify as well,...

Just got my hands on a Surface Book and really digging it
It kind of completes the puzzle and makes MS's Windows 8/10 design concepts come full circle. The Surface obviously isn't the first convertible tablet to laptop solution, but it's definitely been the best experience I've had with one, and Windows 10 really shines on it. Feels like the OS was made specifically for this device
I guess kind of a blog post, but I'm fairly impressed. Usually not a fan of Microsoft products
OP here, haven't had too many issues. Really my biggest complaint in that regard is I it really needed to come with a kickstand, as using it as a touch device with the base attached results in a decent amount of wobble
Is there a way for me to put a texture overlay on all my windows on Classic Windows? Like in that old software window blinds you can put any texture on your theme, only not Classic.
Windows 7 here
What are your GPU fan curves?
can /g/ teach me how to program?
Just installed a firewall and found this
I already disabled all monitoring and telementery
wtf is this
>think you can disable it at the software level
wow, never knew about this, thanks Hillary
