Why do normies love this company so much?
They make some pretty good stuff and they come out with some pretty innovative products from time to time. I prefer Motorola for cell phones because Samsung phones have way too much bloat installed from factory but their other products are bretty good.
You have 10 seconds to explain why you wasted your money on a case for your pc
if the iMac actually had desktop-class components in it would /g/ respect it then?
>people still use this bloated garbage
I don't. Nearly everyone has switched over to 7zip too.
I still bought a winrar license for like $20 last year just to say thanks to the winrar devs. For years winrar had kept nagging me to pay yet it kept all the features I needed for free. Winrar was a true bro.
Anyone out there run hackintoshes? My main it triple booted with Win7, Ubuntu and Osx 10.11.2.
Used to, but it was too buggy and annoying to keep running. All the software I used minus some niche utilities are available on Windows and Linux, both of which have better hardware support.
>eating shit from your hands
What desktop components are most important to a software developer?
>winfags spend hours every day in their command prompt disabling microsoft telemetry and stealth spying updates
>BUT I DON'T WANT TO SPEND MY LIFE MAINTAINING LINUX IN A TERMINAL

Don't use latest madvr builds, there are full of bugs!
Kodi is pretty dumb about pixel shaders compared to mpv and maybe madvr but can't be sure since it's closed source.
You should keep mpv with opengl, you can use it as external player in kodi and it should work with almost all addons.
The new plex is awesome and I have absolutely no dropped frames.
>stopped playing video games because they're a waste of time
>about 1 year later, now have enough money on the side to build a nice new PC
>trying to force myself to not put a GPU in it
FUCKING HELP ME I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK BUT THE TEMPTATION IS TOO GREAT
>Is Microsoft developing any features for DirectX 12 that will NOT be available in Vulkan?
>Or will all these delicious features go to waste?
>Will 8-core FX chips be revitalized with DX12's release?
>Does Vulkan stand a chance of defeating DX12 in the Windows space?
>Will the industry quickly adopt these new APIs?
>Will this finally kill bad PC port performance?
OS X will never look this good.
Bloated garbage DE.
Literally anything else is better, like gnome 3
Just curious, /g/
What text editor do you use? Pic related is mine at the moment.
What /g/ memes have you fallen for lads?
I bought an SSD a week ago and literally havnt noticed a single thing. $150 down the fucking drain.
Last time I ever listin to /g/ about anything
At my workplace all the laptops are slow as fuck (5 minutes boot time), when you replace the HDD with an SSD, they boot up in 20 seconds.
SSD is probably the only thing on /g/ that isn't a meme
Has there ever been a better set of speakers ever made? i have had my logitechs for almost 9 years now and they are still running like new
There's plenty of better ones but Logitechs, despite /g/'s autistic opinion, are great.
Logitech also has GOAT customer service, so even if your stuff is 8 years out of warranty, they will hook you up if it goes bad.
