Gonna take a new battlestation photo this weekend when my flash triggers arrive.
with old KB/M
Anyone have any experience with the AX2200-monitor stand? It's the cheapest stand I can find that still looks fairly sturdy. Think it would work pretty good with my screen set-up.
Nice as always. What size is your landscape-monitor by the way? Your portraits look like they could be about the same size as mine, and it looks like it fits quite nicely.
Not much to comment on really, looks nice enough though.
I kind of like this, very straight to the point. Nice monitor.
Having a trackball and a mouse. How neckbearded can you be.
>actually listening to /g/s recommendations
7.9/10 nice desk.
Battlestation is in the garage right now. I'm sanding and painting the pachinko cabinet from one of the previous threads.
ITT: faggots justifying buying shit. I've realised these threads are only for people to circle jerk and orgasm over each others minimalism and colour schemes. Mods should prune these and desktop threads.
What is one your desk is a clear indicator of your wealth. Your resistance to post a picture in a thread you've already replied to multiple times tells me you have are indeed poor.
Go measure your wealth, your way, somewhere else, faggot.
I wish I had a workshop, or just an additional room for doing things that require a little space.
Pic is my 1-room apartment, but I'm still at the summerhouse.
Back on my old hardware for now as I have no use for the previous power.
Windows installer giving me errors I decided to try out Ubuntu. So far so good I'll be able to do all I did in windows.
Will sell my newer hardware. If I'm lucky I should be able to upgrade during the summer.
I've never been in the military, but I believe they have a bunch of people with my background working for them as civilians.
I'm a machinist's apprentice, and when I'm done with the apprenticeship, I'll have to find a job somewhere.
Norway is pretty much the place I want to try for, lots of workshops deliver things to the oil industry and such.
I could try getting a job in the military, but as a civilian, I don't think they'd have me live on the base. And I don't know if they'd ever send me abroad - it seems more reasonable to just ship out the spare parts I'd be making in the workshop.
OP here, and my monitor setup is two Dell u2212hm, which are 21.5" 16:9, and the centre monitor is Dell u3011 which is 29.8", if I remember correctly.
Yeah it's pretty good, it's a Grifiti Fat 12. I hate using my mech kb without it.
Cabinet is done, just letting the paint cure a while before I hang it so I don't leave fingerprints behind.

Work in progress but whatever posting anyways. Keyboard slides under desk
well it's my first gun so i've been told to go to gander mountain (which is like 15 mins from me) and just explain that i want a mosin nagant and need help selecting a good one
failing that i'm just gonna drive around all the gun shops around here until i can find a good one
i know that's what i want, i just need to find one in decent condition that isn't overpriced
nice setup. shame about the aoc monitors though
it's great. also, you can maximise in OS X just like in windows
i typically have two roughly 5:4 windows beside eachother, that's where the wide monitor comes in to play; it's also great for anamorphic movies and games
What do you use your Dell PDA for? I just put my Palm IIIc into storage and switched to an iPod touch.
>tfw /g/ will hate me when I finally get a Mac
Should finally be done with upgrades for awhile. Can't think of anything else to get.
The search for a 3000 x 1920 wallpaper goes on.
Nuggets are fine guns. Not a bad choice. You should be able to get one in excellent condition for about $200... maybe less. Google how to tell good ones from not so good ones.
What other guns you plan on getting?
Posting in order to quell my inner screams of asocial agony.

What projector and screen are those?
I'm gonna get myself a LG PA70G next week as my first projector ever. I don't have money for a full hd one and it's the cheapest widescreen I could find where I live. Do you think it's a good deal mainly for vidya and movies?
I'm filming a review of a cute little boost converter off of Ebay.
It performs in various ways, neither well, nor poorly.
And that scope is really notrhing to be jealous of. It's old and cheap.
Ubuntu has been my primary OS for a good portion of the last 9 years.
actually i like these ones. clean, and nice view. kind of going to organize my desk this way someday.
I do, for web stuff, also winXP for the games and toshop and everything else.
Dragon Ball and Kyubey. I like you.
Wanna make a contract?
currently building my battlestation. currently letting the second coat of semi-gloss dry on the bottom of the desk
I go through all the pictures in the thread, and save the ones I like for inspiration.
9/10 get better speakers
Better monitors + OS X = 10/10
8/10, wire ties + passive speakers
It's a hackintosh dual booting W7, SLI GTX 670s make me spend more time in Windows.
Mine's called an Xtrac Pads Ripper XXL and it's great, highly recommend it.
It feels great, man.
>9/10 get better speakers
One day. Can't justify it at the moment and these ones are doing fine for now. It'll happen soon though.
My Lepai 2020 sounds better than my gigantic $175 receiver.
Cool, sounds good. I wanted to try soylent but never felt ready to spend the money on it. There's a million and one things that could be causing headaches, so I won't bullshit you on trying to help. Good luck man.
I got into soylent because my diet was so bad and I was always on the go, so I just made a few bottles with me to take out. I feel really good, like I don't want to just sleep all the time. My headaches have been a thing my whole life, but I used to have a lot of migraines so I'm glad I don't anymore.
i've been looking at stuff like marlin model 60's, ruger 10/22 and savage mkii
i really really like the look of the nagants though, plus from what i've seen they're built like fucking tanks. seems like the best choice
i went around a few shops today while i was looking at land and most of the seemed to just have newer stuff, also the employees either just ignored me or were busy with other things so i didn't end up getting anything
My desktop is sleeping atm so here's my newly revived laptop.
Might end up going with one of those gamepads instead of a new keyboard
It's late and I'm tired
I really like this
Does this desk look like a good deal for $45? Sorry for the shitty picture.
all of my this. If you are handy, drill a hole in the legs and one in the table and place a corner brace on it.
i made a rough sketch for a desk. i knew i wanted it to be at least 5' long and 2' wide. since i'm limited in the tools i have available, i decided just to buy one whole piece so i found the 2'x6' that i took a pic of. me and my dad ad libed the legs (it's a 14' railing cut into 6 legs)
it's cabernet (i think i spelled it right) with one coat of semi gloss on top.
I did. I'll occasionally have a figure on my speaker when I want, but I don't feel like having any at my desk. She's up on my display with most of my other figures.
Need more station in view to actually say anything.
I should really buy a vacuum cleaner. And a better camera. And a desktop.
Chernarus from ARMA 2: DayZ Mod
It's a good keyboard but not ideal for typing, I swapped from Blues (Great for typing) to this with Reds (Great for gaming) and I desperately want Blues back... If I were you i'd get some Blues or perhaps Browns.
It's a shame they dont make the K65 in blues because that would be awesome
that's a thought, always liked the look of DACs though. Also trying to set up the macros on my steelseries sensei to play/pause/next track but I can't figure out how to get it to do two keys at once.
Fucking sexy setup right there
