>people not knowing OP wants to hide his CP
Post your CPU model.
Also, you can create 2 partitions on the drive and I'm guessing the gooey shit will only mount the first one, then you can manually mount the second one with mount. No one will figure this one if he's not tech savvy enough (or just a normal human being, trusting what he sees).
get another usb stick / SD Card / external HD to slap your porn onto, one that doesn't get used by other people
either that or put all your shit in a folder named after you, porn and not porn alike (Drive\David\music,pictures,fanfics,taxes,porn...) and tell your 'friends' not to go snooping through your shit
if they still do, they're kinda shit friends
if they do and then whine about your scat fetish tell them to get their heads out of your (literal) shit
Buy a flash drive and hide it. You can get a 64GB microSD card for $20 these days, and a 128GB USB stick for $30-40. Surely you can afford that even if you're a dumbass high school kid.
Then put your porn folder on there and make it hidden. Then put on a bunch of non-porn shit so the drive looks legit. Of course, this does nothing if the computer the drive is hooked up to has the setting for viewing hidden files and folders enabled.
Or you can just encrypt it like an reasonable person.
It doesn't mater, since you're using it on a freedom-denying OS anyway. I was just laughing that they changed the name to a crappy one and are still proud of the name so much that they don't allow modifications under the same name.
Yes, no vulnerabilities in TC have ever been discovered, and it did get a full audit, although I don't know if it ever finished since I believe it ended when TC announced they were shutting down.
If I really want to find your porn, I'll just run windirstat and look at where the folders full of images are. But I cleaned up computers for a living for a while and I really don't want to find your porn. (Though I still look for picture folders just in case someone's put their irreplaceable baby pictures in some random folder again where they will try to sue me if I don't save them, I NEVER look at the pictures I copy.)
At the very least if you're going to put porn on a USB drive, don't also put your resume with all your contact info in the root folder of that same USB drive.
Why the fuck would you try to hide something on a shared USB when you can just have your own USB that isn't shared.
This isn't a problem you can solve with your head stuck up your ass
Hide porn files in a rar and merge it with a swf.
You're obviously underage, if you weren't you'd just buy another USB stick. You're not from a poor region or something like that, you have a mac. You're just a kid who doesn't have money and wants to hide porn on the family flash drive which is fucking retarded. Buy your own or stream it.
Shit was so cash.
Exactly. There is installer too.
No matter how well you "hide" something, there is a possibility of others seeing it.
The more data you're trying to hide, the more obvious it is as well. I'm guessing this drive is 250GB or something like that?
It doesn't fucking matter where you put it, you think somebody isn't going to notice the drive filling up even though nothing seems to be taking up the space?
Unless it's a new drive that you're gonna relabel and pretend is 200GB with a 50GB hidden partition, you can't hide anything more than a few MB without it being super fucking obvious.
Use encryption, or use a removable device other's wont have access to. Nike used to have running shoes with a gap in the sole to put a pedometer that connects to a smartphone.
Get a pair of those, or cut out a hole yourself, and put the drive/micro sd in there.
>Best way to hide your porn without encryption?
Hide it from who? Different hiding spots work on different people.
>small children, people who aren't looking for it, cats
Mark it as "hidden"
>tech-illiterate people who *are* looking for it
Mark it as "hidden" or the JPEG thing (put everything in a ZIP archive and tack it onto the end of a JPEG)
>The police or feds
Wipe the drive, then microwave it
Any particular reason you can't encrypt it? That would be the best option.
Drive encryption is transparent now, even on Wangblow$.
>really confused why people presume someone who wants to hide porn means they're underage b&
It's 2014; an adult who watches porn is no longer a shocking thing. A bit embarrassing, maybe, but unless you're into some really sick shit, there's no need to go out of your way to hide it (plus there's streaming sites, so I'm guessing a lot of people don't save much in the first place)
For kids, on the other hand, hiding porn is a time-honored tradition.
