New Battlestation thread
its a timelapse made with the canon 6D the quality drop is from keeping it under 3MB
the plants need the light
because I made a timelapse and wanted moving stuff in it.
We soon gonna see people on /g/ who cant into webm.
New cheap headphones arrived yesterday, don't even know how the fuck this happened but i ended up with 3 werking headphones this year, and a few ones that i need to change the cable.
No camera to make a Web M at the moment.
>It's unevenly dried windex
My plebstation. I will get my Quickfire XT Stealth tomorrow, so that will save some much needed space
Hello and good morning, made it on time for once.
eyy always lookin good m8
Have you thought about rotating the desk mat 180 to cover up the logo? What do you do on the benQ monitor?
Based as always.
Dildo mic + Facing the wrong god damn direction
How do you clean your velour pads?
also neat/10 as always.
Welcome to the club. :^)
Could be way better but decent.
lol what does the xbox even pump out video at, 1080 @ 30fps. no matter how nice a screen still going to look like and xbox sadly. but I agree if im close when I played on it I would prefer I monitor however usually when I play on the x1 i'm on the couch.
>Have you thought about rotating the desk mat 180 to cover up the logo? What do you do on the benQ monitor?
Good idea about the mousepad, i usually have either youtube videos or some kind of movie or series on the BENQ monitor. :)
It's not velour. The earpads are made of microfiber ( i think ) and headband is foam.
I have never claned them.
Got all my packages. Now I'm just waiting for my friend to ship the keyboard.
Were are all the christmas stations at bruh? excuse the phone quality, brother's using my canon atm.
>the feels when 558's or 598's for christmas
>them similar curves
Rather get the 558's or 598's as they're like £100-£200 cheaper aha
>finally moving out of my parents house in a few days (permanently, not just uni)
>mfw I'll be able to get my battlestation perfect without 15 or so years of shit from my late childhood and teenage years
It's a fucking amazing feel man. I'll keep you guys updated.
My Xtrac desk mat came in, this things really nice. Thanks to the anon who suggested it to me.
HD 600 and HD 650 have lower distortion, better extension and faster decay. Due to their higher impedance they are much more compatible with high output impedance sources and benefit if amplified. They have better construction and higher quality control, driver matching on the HD 558 and HD 598 is a hit and miss. Oh and detachable cables and replacement parts. There's much more into those than just the compensated freq response graphs you posted.
HD 800 for xmas, maybe.
Oh, I really like the execution of this timelapse and the room.
Just moved home for break today.
>using windex to clean your monitor
Previous year's setup
I found it a little more comfy with the lofted bed
Had to share the room though for this one
I thought i told you that i don't like yellow...
Think I'm going to get off my lazy ass tonight, put some music on and clean my room up finally for pictures of the new everything.
Ikea. Love it but now the new rig is on that block, and the lamp will probably be on top of it. I really should have gotten a longer desk to fit to the wall, and gone thinner than this thickness because it IS heavy.
Would have been easier to mount the arm in the back too. And longer would have meant I'd have room to mount the 27" I've got as well somewhere. Oh well maybe in the future.
posting non keyboard version since the other thread is still up
Nice speakers. What kind of DALI?
I've reached the conclusion that I'll probably have to import that Musical Fidelity amp that I want (M1PWR) from USA because it's about half of the price than what it costs here in Denmark as far as I can see.
If only the guy in charge of the paperwork would send me some information about the apartment I looked at last Tuesday.
It looked pretty sweet, seeing as it's going to be completely overhauled and turned into a 96sqm 3-room apartment right in the middle of the town's shopping street with good sound-proofing.
Hopefully I'll move in March.
Forever jelly of the floor.
Nice booze collection as always.
How do you do to watch TV ? You put down your screen ?
9/10 Very clean, nice layout.
4.5/10 Messy, shit desk, mediocre.
7/10 Minimalistic. I'm not a fan of the red wall or the desk.
6/10 Gaymer stuff, monitors look cramped under there. Has potential.
9/10 One of my favorites. Not a huge fan of the layout but very nice.
7.5/10 Please get rid of those speakers and the desk stands aren't very good, clean.
8/10 Nice color scheme, could use some repositioning though
6.5/10 Put some paintings up or something, and raise the TV up a little bit.
6/10 the only thing I really like is the beautiful desk.
5/10 and by comfystation you mean mess and wood paneling?
8.5/10 beautiful desk.
Now rate me /g/?
dirty as fuck cause of finals week. dont know what the setup is gonna look like when i move rooms in a month.
Need ideas on making my battlestation be less dull.
Ideas so far
>L shaped shelving
I did a timelapse webm once but I just got bitched at for it
I have a brother laser printer on the shelf above my desk. I use it all the time.
The almighty botnet thanks you for showing them video of the inside of your media room which can be linked to every post you make using a unique ~20 bit environment fingerprint because you had to click "I'm not a robot" on a reCAPTCHA in order to make that post.
nope. they're u2414h. 4k is bloat
yeah, BM5A-mkii. they are a little forgiving but they get very loud and have a solid, clean low end. they do the job for me, but I'm in a small untreated room. I also only paid about $900 for the pair.
Ugh, I want that case.
Ugh, I want that headphone stand.
Ugh, I want that framed Discovery picture.
Ugh, I want that DAC.
Ugh, I even want that wooden coaster.
I really hope you're me from the future.
>tfw when you spent £1000 on your bicycle instead of your battlestation so people think you're a poorfag.
Say what you want, it makes my games that much more immersive. best $30 I've ever spent
Also, for those asking about a desk, the Ikea Fredde is the best thing for the money.
mostly music or maps for games, glancing slightly up is a lot more comfortable than turning my head to look at another monitor. also for temps during gaming or when doing work having multiple pages of stuff to research open on
neat timelapse. I'll have to give one a go in the new year.
Colour scheme is sweet. Streaky monitor is not. 7/10
I actually enjoy this set up. Looks fun. 6.5/10
Too much space dedicated to computering. Kind of lame. 5.5/10
Cool trains. I don't rate how out of the 6 photos you took only 1 was of your battle station. And it has shit lighting. 6/10
I used to not like your station because I thought it was cluttered and in the way. Now I reckon it's kind of cool. I like the idea of a huge desk in the middle of a room. 8.5/10
I hate huge TVs above battle stations. make me feel cramped and claustrophobic. 3/10
nice but that desk is too small to have your PC on it. 6/10. Could be 8 though.
I think the stuff you have is cool. The wooden paneling is also awesome. I hope the rest of your room is decked out with sweet Scandinavian furniture. Super cosy chalet feel. 8/10
>I think the stuff you have is cool. The wooden paneling is also awesome. I hope the rest of your room is decked out with sweet Scandinavian furniture. Super cosy chalet feel. 8/10
Well the rest of my furniture is pretty much ikea stuff. The rest of the room is pretty fuckin messy since I haven't gotten around to re-organizing it.
I just wish the panels themselves were in better condition. Walls need to be re-done.
I have no moved on to python 3, now if only I could get my virtual dice to reroll themselves.
tiny desk gang reporting in
Leaving for basic in January. Hopefully once I'm stationed I'll have a normal sized desk.
oops im late
a couch would be nice in that room or just anything on the walls
this looks so cozy with the bed in front of the screen
this room looks really cool and that table is nice
>all these dualcreen setups
i have 2 monitors, both 24''
the second one is always turned off, i cant find any use for it
What do you people use them for?
I did not. I just have the first model which has a nice small frame. I've been looking to buy an aluminium frame for the mini which is essentially a poker 2 but those cost over 100 euros which is too much for ricing a secondary keyboard.
what Ikea table top can I buy to fit 3 27" monitors
I'm making a new room and I need something to fit 3 monitors + speakers
I do, but I can cross both screens with my mouse without even moving it halfway across my mousepad. It just werks well.
I have no idea what you're referring to with the cm/360 5cm/360 part though, but if you explain ill gladly tell you
I saw this thread ages ago but I thought it wouldn't take off.
I was gonna post the first reply but I chose not too for some reason 0_o
Anyway no webm today :(
Will soon. It'll show the CRT's proper resolutions better.
I FUCKING HATE THESE BOTNET CAPTCHAS! FUCK YOU MOOT!!!!!
I HOPE THE AUSSIES GET YOU!!
