Old thread is very near bump limit. >>46738553
TIme for a new one!
>tfw I now dislike how mine looks
shitstation coming through
i'll get a new desk eventually. and monitor.
they suck, don't get them.
clean as fuck. digging the purple leds
cluttered but cool
it does not, my good sir. looks comfy as fuck though
i should really make one of those stands myself to put my monitor and shit on. clean and comfy
In the process of moving some shit around. Gonna move the computer to the smaller table so I can get more desk space. Gotta buy a long dp cable first tho.
Also gonna get that film for the windows that lets light in but blocks a lot of the heat. Can get toasty in the summer.
Oh it was so nice to finally get cycles to work properly in blender.
Hopefully not just because of these threads.
fuck i just lost all my ratings. no comments just numbers.
its there more so my roommate doesn't drink it. i can't find that brand of alcohol in the US so i'd rather he not steal it.
it does need a bit of tidying, but i disagree with the cramped. thanks anyway.
>Hopefully not just because of these threads.
I want your chair.
Wanted to include a bit more since there isn't much anything on my computer desk, so here's my living room/battlestation
7.5/10 Three monitors always seems overkill to me
7/10 Would rate higher if you didn't stack your consoles like a retard
8.5/10 very simple and a bit of character
6/10 Was going to give 7.5 but then I saw Kirito
6/10 You look like you're living on your own because computers in the bedroom is retarded if you have space for it elsewhere.
8/10 If you're living at home or in college.
7.5/10 Cool monitor
4/10 Overkill monitors and walls are boring as fuck
9/10 looks comfy
8/.510 for El Psy Congroo. Wall looks nice on the left but boring on the right
11/10 For America
6/10 Too much edgy red
6/10 For not enough color
9/10 you look like a productive member of society
9/10 For simple yet elegant
10/10 I want to be your roommate
i'll post a more updated pick over the weekend i think. but it is super messy, i agree. thanks for the rate.
clean and simple. not a fan of the desk, but i like having no drawers so i can move around fully. cool figs.
love this. like everything about it.
i try my best. needs a bit of cleaning. and a new desk. rest is alright
>overkill on monitors and walls boring as fuck
I just moved 2 weeks ago, literally 1,500 miles. I threw out most of my shit I couldnt fit in my car. I have animu shit but its still packed. Monitors are not overkill. I code for a living, and work from home, so its my work pc.
Every inch of monitor space is usually used. I do appreciate the critque though!
It's worth what it costs, in this case it's shit. I'm looking for a something new but I can't decide.
I just can't like those speakers, not a big deal actually. Also a 21:9 monitor looks way better than a triple setup. 8.5/10
One of my favourites 9/10
Too dark for me 7.5/10
I'll bump you up to a 7 for circumstance and the fact that I smoked Camel crushes for 3 years. Desks like that placed in a corner seems too confining to me though and your cables make me anxious.
Its just the setup of the room. Cables make me nervous as well, but theyre not long enough to tie off. My last desk had better routing options. Havent upgraded them yet.
My newer laptop (which is just an entry level HP that I bought a couple of years ago with an A6-4400M) is in need of fixing so I'm using my Toshiba L305-S5955 (Celeron 900) that I bought in 2009. Fantastic right.
The keyboard has a bunch of missing keys so I took that off and put a Dell USB keyboard on top. It's $11.99 for a replacement keyboard and I have roughly $110 in the bank and I'm not trying to get myself closer to under $100 or anything.
I'm posting anonymously and I still feel emarrassed if I posted this shitb
>6/10 For not enough color
I suppose this is my color.
The mic was a present from my brother. I didn't even really need a mic but figured I'd put it to good use. The monitor on the left is decent, albeit a little color washed out of box but nothing that was un-fixable. There are a lot worse keyboards out there, Anon. The headphones are AKG K81DJ and were a present from my grandfather.
Everything else I agree %100 and really want to invest in a new desk. The only problem is finding one that fits in that gap between the window and door so well
I'll start painting my new apartment in a couple of weeks and move in during the Easter holidays.
>One of my favourites 9/10
Awesome. I hope my new place won't disappoint you.
>10/10 I want to be your roommate
>love this. like everything about it.
It's really awesome to hear this, especially knowing what a shithole the place was when i moved in not too long ago...one wall had those 70's style woodpanel things installed and it was in rough shape, some of the planks were broken right in the middle etc, so i tore it down and underneath it the concrete wall looked like it had been on a battlefield, pits and holes everywhere, both lower corners of the wall had huge chunks of concrete missing, going really deep, at first i had to do a lot patching for the holes, then i applied the covering across the whole wall, and painted it. Then there was this one wall which had some smaller holes in need of patching and ugly ass wallpaper that had to go immidiately.
and pretty much every white surface in the apartment had to be painted again because they had turned so yellow.
Feeling pretty good about it right now.
>build the desk myself.
I've pretty much always built my own desks and I plan to continue.
When there was an auction at work, I managed to pick up an elevating table where I only wanted the legs and the mounting plate.
I'm going to put on a large piece of mahogany and a smaller piece for the monitor shelf and give it some black oil.
It'll be a dark version of >>46769384, pretty much.
i would love to have a lifting desk legs. need to keep my eyes open so i can switch fluently between standing and sitting.
this is not even mine, i just want to know what model that monitor arm is. thanks
Here's mine. Will rate in next post, but in the meantime r8 h8 etc.
Sure. She's a bearded dragon, about 8. Took this through the glass because she's sleeping and don't want to wake her up.
7/10. Simple, clean/tidy. Pretty good cable management too.
9/10. I really like this, all of it.
6/10 looks comfy but a bit cluttered/messy for my liking. The cans...
8/10 tidy, clean. Still think of that curtain as the one in my shower though
7/10 could be cleaner (dust?) but I like the whiteboards and the triple monitors
8.5/10 I really like this one, every time I see it. Love the monitors. I also approve of the anthology of english lit
Lol nice one m8. I'll reply anyway, though.
Her vivarium is far from tiny.
>Happy to have joined triple screen master race.
Both of these are 7.5/10's.
Little too cramped/cluttered and animoo for my taste.
Would be higher, if it had a different head board. Also, that monitor is fuckin' hueg.
I like the new stands. I'm thinking about getting HD 800's for myself, but unsure if the open back design will work, with my summer AC and MX blue switches.
Monitors seem uncomfortably high
I like the newer picture. How do you like the chair? I'm thinking about getting a DXRacer one.
A personal favorite, aside from your amp blocking the speaker.
Ever planning on adding a CPU block?
Another that is too animoo for me.
I like that the majority of your "arkwork" is framed.
What more can be said?
The setup itself is well organized, but everything is just kind of eh.
I like this quite a bit.
>7.5/10 (Dell U2414H bros?)
Four for each year.
I like this. Plans for speakers?
My nigga. How you doin?
>Lol nice one m8. I'll reply anyway, though.
oh it's funny to you? all right then.
>Her vivarium is far from tiny.
can she move, oh I don't know, three to four times her own body's length in one direction without having to turn? no? k f u
Got more fumos but I can't be bothered to update photos. I will do it once I will get new monitors.
1/10 coming through, don't mind me. Haven't posted in a while, case is out for easy access atm. Forgive the spaghetti.
>monitors seem uncomfortably high
Or I'm just tall, Anon :). They are perfectly eye level.
>Could be cleaner, dust?
I heat my house with a wood-stove, and its -30 out, so its really cranking. Everything is dusty. Its a problem, but im not going to dust every day.
Loving that keyboard
Want that pot noodle thing
And those blinds
And them headphones
And that pop filter
And that glass case
And that living room
And those LEDs behind the monitor
And finally I wish I could wall mount my monitors like you have but mine are too big and heavy
ah cheers, just got a Note 4 and the camera on it is really impressive considering the size of the lens.
As for the chair I couldn't use the PC without it, incredible lumbar support
I think it was just the angle of that first pic. I dont like looking down, it hurts my neck. Im at this pc for like 16hr a day. Eyes fall directly in center of screen. Im very ocd about this, and bought easily adjustable stand for this reason.
The noises from my keyboard with MX Blues never bothered me with the HD 800s or any open headphones for that matter. AC might be annoying since I had to get some super silent Noctua fans for my PC to bring the ambient noise as low as possible to fully enjoy the quietest recordings with open headphones.
If you are interested in doing something else with it than just documenting your electronics or mirror selfies then sure. Cameras are fun.
Sik 90 degree tilt on that receiver.
>that monitor orientation
Are you the manlet of our times or did you just tilt shift/do some weird ass perspective correction in post?
I'll heel that in mind. My AC isn't too loud, but loud enough.
Is that the year of the Snake Ducky? How do you like it? I wanted one, but settled on a TKL Shine 3 with an aluminum casing.
You have some really nice image processing going on. Although it is sufficiently barren as to declare it a "minor scrap"station as opposed to a battlestation I must admit I'm rather fond of it.
used to different sound bro. bought the hd558's like 3 years ago, got different audio gear and hadn't listened to them for a loooooooong while.
when i tried them out again, they sounded dead and not detailed at all.
i regret buying them
I shall rate a few
Not much going on here but I also have that Kirino fig.
Seems like a good place to chill out
This needs a lot of improvement
>tfw no Reimu fumo
Looks pretty comfy but it lacks a bit of personality maybe?
Meh, small desk, clutter
Expensive stuff, very nice photo, good taste
Yeah YOTS with MX Blues and sideprinted PBT caps on it. I love it. Really the only difference to the normal Shine 3 is the case which is aluminium and has some laser engravings on it. It looks cool, weighs a lot and feels super sturdy.
Yeah, my aluminum casing weighs a ton, too. I love that keyboard, wish they made more.
>Looks pretty comfy...
It is comfortable. I think it has a very me style, if that means anything. I like silver/metal, black, and gray a lot. I'm thinking about what I could add to liven it up a bit though, most of /g/ says too sterile.
Genelecs yes and merely for entertainment purposes. I don't mix or master anything but I love neutral sound. They don't really open up in such near field setup but still sound better than anything I've ever owned.
Cheers mr 2hu lord supreme.
i like the wood on that desk
this one is nice too
They're like, what, $110?
My TKL casing was $150.
birthday next week so hopefully i can get around to dumping this crap in the bin.
Was dark as hell mane with ISO 6400, too. I tried again.
Thanks. Will take a new pic soon I think :) Hopefully make it even better or do like a "collage" kind of thing over the apartment and see what reactions I can get.
Damn sexy keyboard.. sauce to it or what kind of model is that? :)
It's a Fuji X-T1. Picture taken with a XF 23mm f/1.4 R lens, mounted on a tripod, 10 sec exposure, ISO 200 and F8.
Yes. Add delivery charges + 24% VAT to that just to get an aluminium case for your secondary kb... Yeeah no.
Ducky Mini, 1st gen, purple LEDs and MX Red switches. Good luck trying to find one anymore. It's pretty like any Poker 2 layout kb with some lighting effects and Ducky's own caps there.
Easy to please /g/ with photos as always, kek. But thanks. A DSLR with enough dynamic range and subject in a nice soft ambient light can get you some pleasing looking colors and contrast.
new setup since yesterday, im considering a 3th Dell U2515H now, these things are amazing
