>right next to computer
Linus is that you?
also I wouldn't call that eve half poor, that's a decent setup.
The Sennheiser bag has some HD-360 Pros in them that have come down significantly in price if you can find them and they are great
The Krakens (left green) I got super cheap due to a labeling fuck up, still regret them. Sound is poor and so is the Mic
White ones (JVC) I got for $40 2 years ago and they are the best budget headset I have used and they are built tough.
Sens 9.8/10 they go for like $70 and for that you get nice studio quality sound
Krakens 3/10 the cushions are comfortable.. thats the only good thing i can say about them.
JVC HA-S600 I reccomend 10/10 great phones for the price. http://www.head-fi.org/products/jvc-ha-s600
Fairly poor. Assembled this on a shoestring budget and upgraded over time. Got the beautiful QNIX QX2710 and never looked back.
i5, gtx 760, 8gb dual channel ddr3, nothing special.
I am one, just don't live at school.
>leaving ur fruit in the sun
>like 3 mouses
this may as well be a desktop thread post
where'd you get the soldier?
my neck hurts looking at that top screen
Posting just to post. Most of these stations are alright like 5/10s mostly.
I want to take a break from posting cause its kinda like the same comments over and over again. I don't have any money to fix some of the stuff that will improve my station so i will eventually just stop responding to people until i get some changes happening.
My room is so small my back is up against the wall
and there is too little room to take a picture of all of it :(
what do even need 3 for? i can understand two, if you're running something on fullscreen and need to keep track of something else on the other screen. but three? how do you even focus on three screens
All of these stations aren't even poverty level. Except honorabru weeaboo-kun.
Having one monitor is literally like having one arm. Your no longer poverty level you are like, disability level.
Playing a Game on one, watching shows on 2, having IRC open on 3. You can switch between all three and all three are worthy of their own focal point.
if you have 3 of the same screen you can do surround gaming
I personally have 2 23" 1080p TN panels, and a 1600x1200@75hz crt
crt is for games, lcd's are for work
only problem is the CRT is 4:3 so you don't get much fov in games, it's like playing with blinders after being on 16:9 displays for so long
still sounds overkill. just switch, jesus
fair enough, but something like expose on OSX would do the job.
i guess if you have the cash, just do what you want. i just hate throwing money at things i don't need
I only have two monitors. I used to have one. But I'm thinking of getting a x220 tablet Thinkpad for IRC, and reading/watching anime in bed.
Where do you literally live, I'll fucking ship myself over and build you a glass case because them animu figures are literally collecting dust and cheeto dust
literally the only game I want to upgrade my computer for, so fucking unoptimized but such a great time waster/fun game.
but anon. if there's a lot going on in IRC you'd need to focus on that anyways, and if there isn't, you could just switch
i can understand buying tech for the heck of it, it feels great, but it's not really necessary now, is it
Yeah that's true.
I have use Hexchat and programs tend to wig-out when they on top of it which is why I keep it on its own screen. I'm looking for other IRC clients that are more stable but still offer customization.
>I actually just got it going to PAX Prime the year it was getting launched.
>YFW I play the one true MMO EVE Online.
You know nothing of the the trials of the humble man.
I really can't take all the vibration my PC makes.
I don't know if it's the HDD, fans, CPU fan , GPU or PSU.
Maybe all of them.
I don't even have money to get the rubber mounts yet, god damn
Going to go boldly ahead and assume that it's the fan because those fuckers are always on 100% and usually consist of shitty rings.
Desk feels empty by the way.
Would hang out with anyhow/10
I have money anons, what should I buy next?
Either a third monitor or just get a monitor desk mount. Also get better speakers.
shit desk. monitors are too close to the edge. why have that needless stuff on the desk?
is that a tv for your monitor? also the placement is atrocious (next to a sink). rest is ok
why keep all the boxes there? desk is kind of gross and super cluttered too.
not much to see
i am. nice station, apartment or dorm?
crap desk. meh rest
not a fan of the "desk" setup you have. that case is ugly too. rest is fine.
at least get somewhere to put all your figs if you are going to have them. especially not on what looks like a fold out table
lovely as always
alright desk. crt why? meh rest
desk looks nice. lot of posters super cramped together. tidy up a bit as well, has potential.
take a better pic. get a better desk.
tidy up a bit and it looks alright
meh. posters look bad and there is stuff everywhere. not a fan of a sofa as a chair either.
crap. there isn't even a computer.
ok desk. rest meh
looks nice and organized
tale a better pic. also, do you really need 5 monitors? and why have a clock on your desk when you have a computer? plus that desk (sorry i mean table) is garbage.
tidy a little
I know I have a meme keyboard, but I like it and my typing has improved significantly since I got a mechanical. The green switches are comfy af.
>they're better for multimedia/art because of the color you twat
>I'll strangle you HNG
I do use it for that also, things do look nicer on it compared to the TN panels, but I think I need to calibrate it
I'm waiting on getting a 4k monitor until I can get one with freesync@144hz and IPS
That's what I thought too.
My case is a Cooler Master N200. I've read CM case fans were pretty loud.
My CPU heatsink is an Arctic Alpine 11 GT Rev. 2. Not the best but it cools my i3 well enough.
I'll be getting a TJ08 with Hyper 212 evo and rubber mounts when I have the money.
The tower is on the desk now, I'm just too lazy to take a new picture, will probably tomorrow if I feel like it.
>tale a better pic. also, do you really need 5 monitors? and why have a clock on your desk when you have a computer? plus that desk (sorry i mean table) is garbage.
Of course I don't need them, they're just convenient. It's a phone dock. It is literal garbage, yes, I picked it up from the roadside. All I want/need is a plain table, no fancy desk shit.
You basically buy the board there are 4 size if I remember correctly : small, medium, large, extra large (this one is large and costs 40$ in Canada)
And then you buy the legs, there are multiple kinds, the cheapest (and the ones I used) are 4$ each
You can also use one cupboard and two legs or 2 cupboards to support the main board
replacing speakers and monitors sometime in the near future
Those speakers are tall as fuck.
I just got a new speakers.
My laptop and headphones are the only things I bought new, the mice, monitors, tower, keyboard, desk, and nendoroid are all second-hand.
Not finished with electrical. I'm having a 20a line installed for the computer so nothing is permanent. Plus I'm waiting to get my wall cable runs in from Amazon so I can get rid of wires completely.
0/10 for Hyundai monitor.
I could never go back to one of those...
It's actually really comfy. Nice to lean back in, height adjustable.
Was walking down the street and someone had left it outside to take, so I got it for nothing. Only problem is that the tilt doesn't adjust any more but it's at a good angle anyway.
I think $40 at Ikea. Or $60. Either way it was worth taking her home. Fuck that hoe Marilyn.
Might hafta get some canvases and pump a few of these out.
gonna miss 'er when i move
agreed, Marilyn was a hoe.
DO IT FAGGOT.
Get 'em on Etsy or something and make some bank. I'm having some of my old boys from 5 Pointz come over and completely graffiti the place. In return, I gotta supply them a fuckton of herb. I want an entire Hepburn/Judi Dench tribute wall.
student here bud.
Can't really see much in that pic
is that axe..?
looks weird but if it works
>no senjou or shinobu fig
Why would you buy Hane and Kanbaru first?
What res can you run that crt at?
If you only used one screen it'd definitely help open the place up, but that's only if you want to give up one screen.
dust that shit off
I had that desk before, those edges kill the forearms.
what case do you have?
/g/, does anyone know what the shit I should do? I'm probably going to lower my shelf a bit, maybe by like 4-5 inches... I'm going to keep the center speaker on the shelf, but the front L/R speakers I'd like to place on my desk. But my problem is, if I try and place my speakers on my desk and angle them towards me, they won't fit on the desk, or hang off partially. Wat do.
Perhaps try and move the computer almost behind the speakers, place speaker where it was?
I'd feel like you'll probably end up sacrificing some aesthetic value to fit the speakers.
