>protip: you can't

Specs for laptop in pic related [Aspire E5-551-T5SV]:
>28nm Kaveri A10-7300 APU
19 watt TDP
4 cpu-cores @ 1.9 - 3.2 GHz
384 gpu-shaders @ 533 MHz
>4GB dual-channel DDR3L RAM
>15.6" screen @ 1366 x 768 res
>6-cell 5000 mAh battery
Well what else did you expect for a laptop that sells for 450 fucking dollars. This laptop would actually be enough to play some games on 720p on medium settings. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
You are really pushing the limits of cheap laptop manufacturing OP. I really doubt you could get a better laptop especially since it has a more powerful iGPU than any Intel iGPU.
>19w tdp apu, 5000mah battery
That's bretty gud. I have a laptop from HP and it has a 35w tdp a10-4600 apu, 4000mah battery. I get 2-3 hours of life if I underclock the quad-core cpu to 1.6ghz. You could easily get over 4 hours of battery life if you just surf the web and play a few flash games.
Nobody, nobody at all can find a better laptop? I guess OP wins.
So it has secure boot. Fuck that.
>APU with unknown linux support
>Acer build quality
$500 and it only lasts two years!
Fuck your gaymer specs
Can't wait to hear what better option you can come up with for $500 or less.
>1366x768 on a 15" screen
Smartphones have 4k resolution and are cheaper then that.
This shit is absolutely pathetic. Why is this garbage tier resolution still being pushed as "standard" in small to mid sized laptops?
That's also a garbage deal OP. What the fuck is up with the laptop market? Maybe in 2009 you could justify getting a laptop with those specs at that price, but its 2015.
Paid it 500 € exact at Media World
Intel Core i5 quad core 4th gen, clock speed 2.4 ghz or so.
8gb of DDR3 ram. (Easily expandable up to 16)
Gpu is an Amd Radeon HD 8570
1tb hdd, 7900 rpm
Pretty decent. Can edit video on external monitor fairly well.
Did i win?
I get that laptops should not be used for gaming but 16 GB SSD is the only onboard storage for >>46835083
What. The. Fuck.
>mfw got an acer 2 and a half years ago
>has a CPU+dedicated GPU that match or outperform most laptops in the $550-650 range
>it cost $560~ when I got it
>still runs completely fine
Only downsides is that it has a shit 1366x768 TFT and a 3-4 hour battery life if I'm actually doing anything on it; but it's hard to expect that much more when it has a 2.5GHz i5 and a GT630m in it.
Again, a 720p display. What the fuck is this shit?
Why would anyone want a low resolution like that in 2015? It's just inexcusable.
1080p should be the STANDARD for laptops these days, and even that is a minimum standard. 3k at the very least should be in most mid range laptops, and high end laptops should be pushing 4k.
720p or this garbage 1366x768 resolution needs to go extinct. It's absolutely archaic these days, especially since making 4k monitors is not expensive at all in comparison.
