Lol who here can't wait for the butthurt from women when VR is wide spread when they can't comfortably use it and fucking is no longer their trump card.
One day not to long from now we will be able to feel just like we are fucking a real person. We will have self heating, probably vibrating, self lubricating, massaging, cock sleeves that could realistically stimulate anal or vaginal sex ether in the cow girl position where it will move by itself or kept in place like with the Fleshlight shower mount so for example you could stand up a feel like your fucking someone bent over a table. And likely in the future ones that will simulate a blowjob. You could feel like you are fucking anyone real or otherwise. The future is bright.
I think he means when women can't cant it anymore and are of no use to men. I think that's why he means.
I seriously can't fucking wait anon.
I'll live to see the day I hope
No if you read the article I linked it says that women can't comfortably use VR headsets because they use different methods to work out the distance of something than men. This can't be fixed ether atleast for a while as it would require extremely realistic shadows for everything which would use up a massive amount if resources.
ps. also, the shading and depth-of-field which females depend on more is far harder to render, it's not so much a "won't do", but a "currently unfeasable to do" situation, which means it's not sexist, just unfortunate
maybe if there were more women interested in the field they would have put more effort into solving the differences between male and female depth perception
i for one didn't even know of this discrepancy until i saw the "is it sexist" argument
Sorry, little boy. Looks like you got lost on your way to >>>/pol/
this VR bullshit will be a fad like the VR bullshit in the 90s
Retards keep saying this. It died then because it was shit people couldn't use it without being sick it also cost to much and overall the technology just wasn't there. This isn't a fad many people already own the prototype headsets and they certainly think it's not a fad.
People said the same shit about 3D movies when Avatar came out. Most of the biggest films last year didn't even come out in 3D. The sad reality is, these headsets will always be niche because they require more effort to use than a normal screen. Anything that takes more effort to use just annoys anyone trying to work. You're not going to get people to be happy with having to re-calibrate the FOV on their headsets, no one has solved the problem of it being a weight on your head, it fucks up your hair and limits your interactions with the world around you by cutting everything out. Soon there will be large groups of people who will be trying to limit their time looking at a screen. Sure this is every basement neckbeards wet dream, and kids will love them, but I don't see it catching on with adults ever.
>women are empirically proved to be worse than men at a key skill
>b-but this means Oculus Rift is sexist
As soon as we can use our hands effectively it will be gold. I personally would like to have a workshop of wonders in VR space where I can build and work on projects not approachable in meatspace. I don't know how fond I am of having high frequency EM waves that close to my head though, with the reports of higher cancer rates in cell users etc becoming more abundant.
I can't wait for VR and ectogenesis. Biologists have already figured out how to make 2 father children viable, by turning one sperm into an egg. The problem is that we still need a surrogate, with ectogenesis that won't be a problem.
Think about it this way, you can have a kid with your best friend, marry him for those tax breaks, and fuck your waifu in VR. No real women required, and feminists will shit themselves because men will simply choose not to deal with them.
I fail to see how this is sexist. The fact that both genders use different methods of determining depth isn't sexist, just an unfortunate circumstance when it's easier to produce one over the other.
It takes a lot more resources to produce realistic shadows and shading, it isn't by choice that it works better for men. Pfft, still, feminists will happily pick this up and argue the point despite it being nonsensical...
>So how do women percieve distance?
ever seen a woman try to park a car?
We might actually have a future where women can't just rely on being pretty to get by in life, where if they are in a relationship they actually have less leverage as we can strap into our awesome sex machines whilst they can't.
>skyrim tier debauchery
>not SL tier
Yeah I don't see that working. Early in the morality of it wouldn't be a issue as the robots will be less intelligent than a ant but in the future I could see issues with robots just as intelligent as humans.
