>you catch a glimpse of toolate.exe in task manager before it disappears
A program I downloaded on my laptop does this. I just wanted to turn off my laptop monitor without closing the lid or waiting two minutes. I like it.
Anonymous, I HAVE NO IDEA. powercfg -requests tells me fucking nothing, I reinstalled multiple fucking times, but my Surface with its already shitty battery life never fucking goes to sleep.
I think it's either Steam or Spotify reaching out to their respective botnets.

I seriously do this with computers. I have a hackintosh at home that has all the horrible shit you would think someone on 4chan would have, but my laptop is absolutely clean. I don't even browse porn or 4chan from it.
I use synergy so I control both machines from my laptop, so the effect is that when I'm home I just suddenly have 10TB of hard drive capacity and a huge browsing history of porn, but when I'm out and about there's nothing I need to explain. Not even a downloaded Facebook photo.
This, it always scares the shit out of me.
You know what happens next
Why do installers do that?
Sometimes, I can get a quick glimpse of a message informing me of the status of something happening. But why does it close so quickly?
Why won't they let me read the things
>Your computer has been blocked for copying videos with elements of pedophilia, child porn, gay porn. To unlock your computer you need to pay 500 rub to me. You need to pay 500 rub with any payment terminal to 89096698355 (Beeline). Then you will find your code on the fiscal receipt. This code will help you unblocking your computer. After unblocking you will delete all files with elements of pedophilia. In the case of non-payment, all the data on your computer will be deleted.
I guess he paid 8 dollars.
Seriously, this is bad. Somehow I always managed to avoid shit like that and only once had a virus (some background process that was straining my CPU, but god eradicated pretty fast).
Good Lord, why didn't I think about it.
I had a webm of a guy installing a billion adware search bars somewhere. Serious shit.
>500 RU or $8
That's pretty silly.
Anyone remembers the lostboy.exe from a couple of years ago, mostly /v/? Or the "save as tits.js and double click to shit brix?
