>still using public trackers for all your torrenting needs
>seeding for free to a bunch of dirty 3rd worlders and Communist loser leeches
>being a public tracker Communist faggot instead of a proud, right-wing private tracker user that understands the concept of private property and that quality can only be obtained via private means.
Are you torrenting the way you're supposed to, /g/?
Have you noticed that you never want to use public trackers ever again after using private ones?
Communist public plebs, stay out of this thread. You wouldn't last a single day on a private tracker anyway.
(Warning: snitches are watching this thread closely and people have already lost their accounts for inviting in these threads)
Private trackers, once again summed up. And I say this as someone on a number of top trackers.
jajajajaja report gogogogo
>friend gives whatcd invite
>get to power user status in a weekend
>it's ok I guess but now I have to store and manage my files locally per device fuck this autism
>go back to Spotify because curated media is for real men
Daily reminder if you are someone of even the smallest amount of value to the world, you don't torrent because you have others do it for you
Nope it's not. I have throwaway emails on runbox.
Last time I offer free invites however. I didn't think there were so many teenagers on /g
Pretty sad life some people on here are living indeed
Some piece of shit reported the email I used to invite somebody last week and the next day, I couldn't login and the reason was "inviting from a public board (4chan)"
I tried to use their IRC to get my account back this weekend and the fuckng mod just said I broke a major rule and he kicked me out of the IRC before I could even say anythiing other than giving him my username.
Whoever fucking did that should fucking die. Seriously. Fucking doing that to a fellow anon here. I'm never posting shit in these generals again.
If you're on a private tracker, you have a duty to reupload content to public trackers.
By putting up with arbitrary and byzantine regulations in order to share content with others, you martyr yourself for the good of mankind.
>If you're on a private tracker, you have a duty to reupload content to public trackers.
Couldn't exlusively using private trackers be compared to using proprietary software?
Shouldn't the availability of information always be supported, therefore shouldn't the ideal be info on public trackers?
>being this jealous
Private trackers = GPL, you have an obligation to share back what you take
Public trackers = MIT/BSD, you're supposed to give back and it's kind of a dick move not to, but nobody can stop you
the only private (well, "private") tracker I bother with is empornium. cause they got a lot of stuff and they're pretty chill about it.
what.cd is just full of shit, I don't have time for that secret-club crap. I get music from public trackers
You're kidding, right?
That's V0 compared to 256k QAAC and 160k Opus.
Not sure man their bot is pretty dumb.
I'll just post the ratio proofs and email.
Thanks if it isnt a trap.
Forgot to censor properly lol. Anyway here is the other one.
I like these generals. I got a jpopsuki invite from a generous anon here a few months back. Friendly reminder that staff monitor these threads. If you post a screenshot, make sure as much of your details are blanked out. Staff can see who you are from your ratio, even if its partially hidden. If you just show you have at least 1 tb uploaded they can still look at all the users who looked at their profile page recently and have that incomplete ratio and usually narrow it down very well. If you show a specific torrent page, they can look at who looked at that page recently.
TL;DR private tracker staff are scumbags and spend their days searching for rule breakers
