old thread is dying
How's the FX-6300 for compile times? I'm in need of a budget build and was thinking of getting an AMD CPU since I don't play video games. More cores seems useful for compilation times and VMs.
Good for the buck. But also use SSD which I'm sure helps as well.I also don't game but I have enjoyed it. But the * core isn't too much more . Wondering what the difference would have been myself.
r8 my macbuntu
no h8 pls
Never been big into pasta. Though I don't mind pesto or some cheese sauce. Never liked spaghetti. But I'll tear up some meatballs.
You can do better.
If I had an answer to that, it wouldn't be on the todo list
Ah sleepy bored. Thinking about walking up to the store shortly. As soon as my brother gets back. He sugars got low at work and oculdn't drive home yet.
Anyone know how to remove the 1px bar between i3bar's highlighted workspace and the top of the bar?
This nonsense has been driving me nuts
I freaking LOVE rc1. Was the first kernel that can (with a help of some patches) make my Transformer T100 run Linux SOMEWHAT stable. Still, after a year and a half of bugs, file corruption and missing basic drivers which resulted in being forced to use windows... 4.0.0 rc1 ftw.
Can I get help with bugn for windows? I see people in desktop threads tiling their windows using bugn and having different sizes for different windows. When I use it I cant for the life of me make any windows their own size, it forces everything in the stacking area the same size, same if I put more windows in the master area.
6/10 don´t like wp

Welcome to the machine
uses a tiling window manager in windows
Not very riced, try removing that blue icon
Not great, the wallpaper detracts attention, the window decorations are wierd, your icons are pretty inconsistent and your conky is overkill
Pretty nice, remove those bar icons?
Pretty decent, 4chan rice is a bit bright
Nice as usual
Nice as usual

Anyone got any GTK3 theming resources? I can't find any decent theme aside from numix and I'm geting bored of that one, so fuck it, I'll make my own, just need some decent documentation. Halp?
I really like these desktops!
maybe, although I prefer it this way
WM : Openbox
Tiling : Pytyle2
Icons : ACYL
Distro : Crunchbang (lol)
mainly because I can do everything I need right here and now, it's the same reason I don't install Arch. I recognize the alternatives are superior there is just no drive to change over
Crunchbang is dead, you do realize that, right..? I upgraded mine to Debian Jessie and all seems to work fine, I'd suggest doing that since you probably won't be getting updates anymore.
are you joking
that's a pitiful breakfast, come 2 london m8 we'll teach you a thing or two
There is someone who actually did that, it was really sad too because their rice was really good
and yes 90% of the screenshots in this thread are not exhibiting normal use, otherwise you wouldn't be able to see the wallpapers at all
Most of the time I keep wondering why even use a wallpaper when you can't even look at it.
It's like security in phones. Locking them with pin codes or patterns. What's the point? Once that nigga is done stealing my phone, if it has security is still going to be repurposed and sold in some way. I should probably disable it.
