>having any anti-virus software other than glorious Microsoft Security Essentials master race
Seriously, why does anyone pay for anti-virus software these days?
Some corporations find it easier to maintain other software. Other than that...
>having any anti-virus software
>using an AV by company who "sabotaged" (kind of hard since they are all useless anyway) the quality of their AV to protect their "software alliances" with companies like Symantec et al.
hell even using windows is just bad enough; but still AV is useless garbage and you're a fucking moron if you install that shit.
Now look at the PDF of the actual results, MSE is only behind the others by 15-20%, which isn't that bad considering it's free
But they've skewed the rating systems, probably because they're being paid off, which doesn't make them trustworthy
because theres browser zero days like once a month and once a week if you have flash installed. you really know nothing about malware if you think the only way to get it is through running sketchy executables.
And they give it 0/5 start? Shouldn't a star be 20%?
Also it gets 0 false positives in any category but doesn't score 5/5 on false positives? While other software that does score false positives gets a higher rating?
I'm not saying 20% isn't shit, it is, but AV-Test is being paid for scores pretty much guaranteed
