From a purely gaming perspective, do you think it will be worth it to upgrade to Windows 10 from Win7?
>insists on posting about video gaymes here?
are you fucking serious?
look at this board
>how do i fix slow ubuntu
>what can i buy.
Obviously yes, but you don't have to jump into the wagon straight away. The main reason you'd want to upgrade is when vendors stop releasing new graphics drivers for Win7 and Microsoft stop rolling out DirectX updates for Win7. That'll be the time when you'll have to say "hasta la vista" to Win7.
Yeah leave our board so we can discuss windows phones, apple watches and 4K screens. Oh and let's not forget the threads about building "my first rig" with deep and provoking discussion!
Building rigs is exclusively a bunch of gaymur faggots. The rest you mentioned is tolerable for this board. The difference is there are multiple video gayme boards to discuss everything related to video gaymes. And /g/ is not one of them.
>geeks that try to do legit projects with technology
Ricing isn't a legit project but still /g/ related
>or for professionals
Professionals wouldn't talk about their projects on the internet anyway
When I ran the developers preview, 10 seemed quite a lot lighter than 7. However, what I don't know is whether there is a ton of additional bloat bundled with the production version. So as long as Microsoft hasn't added a ton of crap, I would say, go for the upgrade.
