cute little crt
i didn't know people actually watched those mtg tournaments on twitch. decent little setup anon.
One blew up and the other was made in 1993 so I wanted to replace and preserve it
thanks. the ones by wizards are super shit, but that tourny has great casters with hilarious filler, so i always enjoy having it as background noise.
yours is great as always, make any changes recently?
ah i see, sorry to here
Going to take a new pic rather soon as this one is getting old.
micke master race
fuck i hate wood panel
>Speakers (Maybe, need to make space)
>Keyboard (When this one breaks, It feels Cheap)
>The CRT is gone
Also where do you get the small TV.
The audio equipment is for mixing for video and also for music.
The oscilloscope is for repairing electronics and analysis of audio (I make synthesizer bits n pieces)
There is a theremin just out of sight
Final mixdowns go on the tascam duel deck under the fostex.
Ill one day have a new picture with the shouldermount cameras.
Wow, my battlestation was save-worthy, lol.
As said in >>47663806
>One blew up and the other was made in 1993 so I wanted to replace and preserve it
I got the little CRT off of eBay. It's a Sony PVM-8042Q
Do you people have jobs?
Like, how do you find pleasure in rating each other's "battlestations"
I've also seen the same ones for the past 6 months. I don't understand why you constantly need verification that your desk is "/g/ approved"
GET OUT OF HERE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
GET OUT OF HERE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
>checks /bst/ for 6 months straight, looking at every picture to see if it changed
>Do you people have jobs?
I'm embarrassed to say I paid $40 for it.
Don't regret it though, has a great picture and looks cool as fuck.
Yeah. It was $10 on CL so whatever lol
Nope. Not at the moment. I'm still looking for people who want to play prog or prog-metal
OH MY GAH!!
I dont have much to share but here's something. If you have a guitar song you wanna hear I may record it for you If its doable.
Well it started out by flickering and making a bunch of static noises for like a week. Then one day it just went POP and started smoking. I unplugged the fucker and put it outside immediately.
SNES should be double gapped so small CRT doesn't collect heat. Table is nice enough area. Mouse at least has a mouse pad, level with keyboard is bonus. Monitor is garbage. None of them tilted towards user as well.
Book as footrest?
You might want to toss another carpet down or mat, wheels on chairs wreck flooring.
>Not gonna risk killing myself trying to fix it though.
I bet when that little sony breaks your gonna put it in the bin...
WHATS THE POINT IN OWNING CRT'S IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION TO REPAIR THEM WHEN THEY BREAK!?
>WHATS THE POINT IN OWNING CRT'S IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION TO REPAIR THEM WHEN THEY BREAK!?
Piss on fixing heavy shit I get for free. It quits working and into the trash it goes.
I don't try to separate my shit from toilet paper either. Former avionics guy here and while that was great fun I expect a suitable financial return for my labor.
Did I mention that the Gateway CRT was a $10 storage unit piece of shit
I'll definitely give a shit about the Sony
I'll go ahead and do that
As usual, love the CRTs and ThinkPad and the other old shit
Good job actually framing your posters
High quality keyboard
>google images wallpaper
I always like this one
The figures look nice under the monitor
Why does everyone have those speakers
Why don't you at least center it
I have a similar CRT but it doesn't work with my Radeon HD 7850 (get a BSOD and the crash dump says something about a HyperTransport watchdog Timeout Error?). I have heard the problem might be motherboard voltage related but I don't want to fuck with the motherboard and damage something by changing voltage.
>Shit monitors pointless faggoty monitor stand
Decent 1080p monitos, got them for $200, including the mount, so not bad.
You really have to try topre before you judge man. Also, I got this for very cheap as well.
Not going to argue that.
I disagree. Case sucks. Used to have a CM HAF 932. Loved that thing.
>Cant flaw the desk
Yeah, it is nice.
Because I took the picture while I was moving the furniture in my dorm around. My roommate and I had our beds lowered and needed to raise them before we move out or we will get charged, so the pic is during the moving process. This picture is what it looks like now.
I move out in 16 days, it's not worth cleaning it any more than this.
Next payday I'll probably grab a TV so I can watch hook up my laptop and watch shit I've downloaded on something bigger than half of a 17in screen
going from 2 monitors to this is really frustrating sometimes
What is a nice long desk I can get for around 150-200 dollars?
I was looking at the Ikea Linmon 78in but shipping on Ikea is crazy so no go and its sold out on Amazon.
Any other recommendations?
I haven't bought a decent desk before so some help would be greatly appreciated.
Just from looking around for the last few minutes this doesn't look too terrible, and unlike Ikea which quoted me over $300 in shipping this will be delivered for free to any walmart apparently.
I'm wanting to "make" a really lazy makeshift desk. I'll get some wood from the hardware store and just put it on top of two sets of drawers.
But do y'all know where a good place is to find stuff? Preferrably somewhere I can sort based on height? Ikea has shit selection and they're all too tall or way too short. Same for amazon.
For such a simple idea this is surprisingly hard to find. I'd be better off just ordering a Galant if shipping weren't retarded.
