Couldn't see one.
I just acquired a free Dell Optiplex 745 which is made of dust. Waiting on a WiFi adapter, compressed air and thermal paste.
No new picture because it's basically the same.
A bit outdated but still pretty much the same. I removed left monitor and replaced middle one with UHD one
I hate OPs like you but I can't stop posting myself
Posting in both threads.
Gonna sell a few things, including my seconday monitor and the AKG.
It looks pretty cosy. You said you were getting cushions to sit on, right?
Looks comfy. I like it a lot.
Nice desk space, it's pretty tidy with some nice personal touches. Cables underneath could be neater though.
Nice prints. Tidy desk, too. I like it.
I should probably post less, yeah. I like looking at other stations, perhaps for inspiration or to see how I can improve. Looks alright, albeit somewhat pieced together.
Hello, nice to see you m8.I'm probably one of the only people who'll rate you regardless of the figures. Like it as always. What's that on the left of the desk?
>What's that on the left of the desk?
Just a "box" with important documents (bank, school, warranty, things I bought etc.)
It's generally put on the shelf behind where I took the pic but I need a few paper at the moment.
Went ahead and assumed you meant the Madotsuki frame: http://a.pomf.se/kyttnw.jpg
>I like looking at other stations, perhaps for inspiration or to see how I can improve.
Same. That's why I said I keep posting as well.
I have really been swayed by all the people posting ultrawides on these threads. I remember thinking them silly, and have for years. But now I'm seriously considering getting them for my own desktop. Also the constant pictures of bookshelf speakers really gets me interested but how do they work? Where do they connect? What kind of DAC/AMP do I need? Where's the sub? They look cooler than the average PC speaker, though.
I entirely see what you're saying. I probably got my speakers through some sort of subconscious thing from seeing them in these threads.
It was free, why not? I have almost nothing to lose by taking it.
DT770, I can wear them all day, barely feeling them.
literally a nigger bass
HD600 master race reporting in
not going rate in depth, did it in other thread
Meh, it's pretty messy.
It's decent, looks cosy. Matching monitors would certainly improve it.
Warm lighting, tidy. Like it.
Yeah, sorry. I think me and the other guy made them at almost the same time. Oh well. Double the shitposting!
Hello m8, like as usual.
How's the magic mouse treating you?
I loved the gesture functionality, but it started killing my wrists after some time.
And what the hell do you sit on? Don't tell me it's that box.
Led strips with sticky backs.
Look up "SUPERNIGHT LED strips" on amazon and get the length you want with a color remote. The Adhesive doesn't work too well on wood and it doesn't like being moved around, so make sure where you stick it the first time, is the place you want to keep it for a long time. If you want to move it in the future you might need to keep it up with tape cause the adhesive becomes weak once you peel it off a surface.
By the way, does the power adapter or any of the parts put out any sound? Like some high pitched frequency?
My phone charger does that once my phone is fully charger, and I could not stand hearing that for longer than ten minutes.
>Not using electroluminecent wire
Seems pretty comfy. Just never have guests over please.
Get rid of that fucking shit mic and WTF is going on with that case n
>Actually becoming a HPG clone
Apart from that quite like it
Dont worry I dont have any guests to come over.
I live in limbo.
They are part of the stand.
Yeah, the mic is terrible. I haven't really looked into good alternatives. Any recs for something noise-cancelling?
I looked into those but I change my wallpaper frequently and I like the colors to match it. Electroluminescent wires don't offer RGB control, which is why I bought what I bought.
it's pretty clean I guess but I know those legs would annoy me since I sit about 2 inches from my center monitor
why not just do this? fill the other part of the desk with something else
Thats actually the plan.
I built this yesterday and my displayport cables are too short to reach this way.
Ive got 3 6ft cables coming in today, once they come in ill be moving it around
We've all had our down weeks.
Some of just deal with it differently.
Which one of you had the Kuroneko 2.0 figure? I want to see the box with it again.
I'll get some new pictures soon, I haven't had access to a decent camera recently.
9/10. Looks nice
8/10. Not a fan of maudio speakers
8/10 looks clean
9/10. Really clean lines
7/10. Only because of the mismatched monitors
8/10 looks nice
10/10. Best desk out of the group.
r8 n h8.
Just realized how shitty these pictures are
Nearish to the legs.
Like i said, i sit kind of far. And i dont usually have em stretched out. When im stretching out im usually offset to the side a little and not using keyboard or mouse.
I mean since most people that have battlestations play vidya and vidya on linux is pretty pitiful atm it's not unsurprising that battlestations are mostly windjews, I run 4 homesrvers on debian but they are hidden in a closet because there's no point in physical acces when you can just ssh into them.
Getting my own place this summer and am looking to make this desk. Anyone know how much this will cost me? I live in the US and wood seems to be cheap. I might just buy the wood and have a friend make it
Pic is not mine, but a friend who made the desk.
Okay yeah I thought so. now I need to find some one to make it
Thinking of going with a wood, metal and red color theme for my room
Now waiting for a new keyboard and mouse to come in. Computers are expensive hobby toys. x.x
Couldn't sleep and decided to redo my master bedroom. It doesn't look as good as it did before, but it is much more functional. Still needs some work.
Finally took a new picture. What can I do to improve my station?
To do list.
Get two new 27" monitors.
Fix the floor.
Fix the lights in the right side of the cabinet.
Side monitors look different in photo but not noticeable irl
How long did it take you to put everything on the ceiling?
Wish I had a bit more room so I could put up my fixed reel to reel
Slowly improving, there's always more that could be done though.
You have plenty of room XD
really like the wood panels.
looks pretty cozy.
s340 master race.
love how simple it is.
I was gonna get that monitor, but instead I grabbed a 22" AOC and i'm gonna add another next week. How's it treating you?
wood panel bros.
looks good, though.
Here's my setup. Any suggestions on how I can improve it? When I get my second monitor next week I'm putting the case on the floor.
Also, I wish I could tear down this shit wood panel.
yeah, here's a link.
I hardly know anything about them, so I'll have to do some research. I would like to do white keycaps for sure, though.
I'm looking to spend around 100-125 USD. Suggestions?
I'm actually just working on uploading all my rare pepes to a website that sells them for me, I'm making vectors currently and then I'm gonna make bank and crash the pepe market.
If you're just looking to get into mechanical keyboards on a low budget, I would have recommended the cherry MX Board.
Though given your budget, I'd recommend you check out the mechanical keyboard general, they have lots of information on this stuff, and you can get specific advice there too.
Where the fuck do y'all get desks?
Mine is too tall - I like being lower to the ground. But after going to the two furniture places and salvation army store in my city, I can't find anything close to the height I want (like 20-25'').
I found the Ikea Galant goes down to 23'' but shipping on it is like $100.
Then I thought I'd "make" one by just putting a table top on two drawers or something, but I can't even find drawers the right size that aren't over $100 each. I seriously looked around for stuff to make this work, and I couldn't find shit. How can such a simple idea be so hard to actually do?
I would hang out with you/10
Nice and clean/10
Not bad, but tower looks out of place/10
Slight beta clean/10
That middle monitor is triggering my autism/10
Quick mom, give me hot pockets/10
I thought I would be a /b/ro, this thread has been shit with raiting... Q.Q
Dang ban on my cell phone tower made this a later post q.q
You can do pretty well on some smartphone cameras too though. Some let you adjust ISO and exposure. Take multiple shots and stack them in Photoshop to remove the noise and bracket a HDR by taking multiple shots with different exposures using exposure compensation. Only hard thing is to keep the smartphone somewhat steady during all of that.
Also, GTA V is fucking fun.
Nice to meet a fellow photographer on /g/
Pick up more hobbies. Make photography one of them.
>Implying I actually take the time and effort to set up a nice scene for a crappy battle station thread.
Are you one of those people who thinks that every picture ever taken has to be extremely professional even if its just selfie?
