old one is dying, time for a new one
>Get or expecting anything new?
>Any major changes imminent for your station?
give me criticism, I know desk is dusty as fuck and terrible.
monitor stand coming in a week or so.
I'll join. No new changes to the station, I'm content for right now.
Getting in to some entry level photography and photo editing as something fun to learn.
I got a Sony Alpha A3000 for $189. It's sonys answer to the entry level dslr cameras. It's pretty bad ass because it has all the necessary manual settings and decent auto settings. Lenses aren't very cheap though.
>get anything new?
I bought a cute premade NAS, pic related
It's actually two.
>21:9 LG 29" & Asus 24"
Yeah, I thought I'd try to take the pic with a real camera. Still looks like shit, so here you go.
More anodized, really. But yeah, I like metal.
>Headphone amp (not pictured)
>USB Hub (not pictured)
>Disc Drive (not pictured)
Might get a headphone stand too.
My criticism depends on what beer you're drinking. But my experience on foreign beers is limited to Budweiser and Heineken so...
7.5/10 if Heineken
6/10 if Bud
>It's always the same shitty ass pictures every fucking time.
Seriously why do people even put up another BST thread when it's the same shit over and over again, jesus fucking christ.
New room, new desk, dual VESA-mounted monitors all coming soon. I had to find an adapter since these Acers aren't VESA compatible.
Having 2 threads of the same shit up at the same time. Lel
One thing is having one thread on it, another is posting a new thread of it every day trying to ''refresh'' it. it's fucking retarded.
And either way, if it weren't filled with shit threads like these, it'd be filled with shittier ones like "AMD OR NVIDYA" / "INLEL OR MAD???" / "GUYS IS THIS A GOOD DEAL, I THINK IT IS RIGHT, I ALREADY BOUGHT IT TELL ME IT IS: (Lists PC that is 4 years old, that has terribad spec list, and paid $1,500 for it)"
So which would you prefer, a place where people can actually talk about items and whatever other shit they got and like, or get some constructive criticism on their environment, or, a place where underage & g roam rampant.
>Implying that doesn't happen now
They're my favorite closed headphone. There's a good bass response that handles my shit music taste, but they remain neutral and accurate enough for use in editing my voiceover projects.
Also you can't beat those velour pads as far as comfort is concerned. You'll really like them.
op, i'll rate a bit
tidy up as you said. maybe something else to put the tv on, i feel like that table could just give out plus it doesn't look too good. another desk in L formation could work. rest is good, maybe add something like a piece of art work for a personal touch
like it a lot. nice gruul
bit cluttered, but i don't think you could fix that without ruining your work setup.
i really should buy an ikea desk to replace mine. did you see the red colored ones? did they look any good?
feel like the wall stuff could be organized better. did campbell draw that jessica art? like the desk, just tidy it a bit
i miss the crt.
you should still frame those posters even if they are cheap. also, get a bookshelf!
nice guns. too much in one area for my taste
people post the same stuff because most everyone doesn't renovate their room every week. plus, it's just a /g/ thing. just like the desktop threads , headphones, etc.
not a fan. the desk doesn't look very good and there's a lot of clutter.
clean it up. not much else
r8 and h8 mine
Still looking for a new camera for better pics...
Anyways, I'm looking for a mechanical keyboard to fit my room, any suggestions? I'm having trouble doing it myself
Wife painted it for me when we moved here to fit the spot on that wall. The rest of the wall art looks better from the perspective where I'm sitting, I don't really prefer linear or sorted wall art.
Nah, I'm in New York, the closest one to me is in Burlington, Ontario.
The tabletops I have for my desk are the 120x60cm Linnmons. I believe they only had black, white, a wood grain(if I remember correctly), possibly a grey, and a white with green edges(which looked to be the only one of its kind there, I'm assuming a style they were phasing out).
Where do you guys put your router/what method do you use to connect to the internet (ex. wired/wireless)
k550's. They are quite nice, but the pads require a simple rubber band mod to make them comfortable, atleast for me.
>oh he's got anime wallpaper, must be a weaboo
>a canadian weaboo to be exact
>wait is that protein powder
>and what's with the letterman jacket, what is he, some kind of bully with an anime fetish
>see eyeglasses and hipster /fa/
>also car tires
What is wrong with you man. Either you're a hipster, a weaboo, a jock or a nerd, you don't mix those things wtf. I'm highly offended. How dare you have multiple interests when it's making it hard for people to make snap judgements based on superficial observation.
Plant guy checking in
A bit dark for my tastes, but like the setup
I want your desk, please link it here
I'll buy your xbawks original
Just moved into a garage and it's not too bad. I do miss my old setup but until I'm able to move out this is what I've got. We just moved saturday and my mom still has a bunch of her boxes in here that I'm gonna move into a storage shed. I'm not a neet just 18 have a shitty job and am waiting to start college.
I had replies typed out for everyone but it got erased so fuck it.
Don't have anywhere else to put them.
I'm a canadian weeaboo who dresses like a cunt and likes to lift weights after working on my truck and installing gentoo on my Thinkpad.
Close, a prelude. Unfortunately they came on the car and I'm not sure what to do with them. I'm slowly removing all the rice from the car, next is to swap out the cherry bombs.
Other than the dust, looks pretty good to me anon.
z97s krait edition master race
so many wires. clean up a bit, and it should look pretty good.
always loved your setup mate. the color scheme is great.
Love the headphone stand. Is it a real stand or just one of those banana holders?
really love the monitors in the latest setup. What's the shiny globe thing?
fuck yeah thunderdome. hardcore you pussy motherfuckers.
let's scape mate. I made a skiller a couple days ago but don't really play cause there's no one to play with. i'm members already too.
looks cozy bro. good job.
Here's my setup. Adding another one of these AOC monitors this week.
Any suggestions on how to improve my setup? These wood panels make everything look cheap.
Not much to mine, hopefully when I buy my house in a year or so I'll be able to actually have space for a proper battlestation.
>Any suggestions on how to improve my setup? These wood panels make everything look cheap.
remove the tower from the tabletop
that's the plan when my second monitor comes in.
I just built this PC a couple weeks ago, so i'm still in a phase where I want to look at it as much as I can.
I know, sounds stupid.
What can I do to improve my station?
Already planning on getting new monitors.
Getting a wrist rest for the keyboard in the mail sometime soon.
Going to get ambient lighting LED strips for the back of my screen, not sure how high on my financial priority list that is though.
Other than that, some custom keycaps, but that's just a far off idea. The keyboard is barely a week old, so I don't think I'll need new keycaps for at least a year.
The most people that I invite over already know that I'm a disgusting weeb, so they don't give me much of a reaction.
>getting speakers when I get better sound with headphones for way less
Eh, I stopped using it after I started hearing a high pitched noise for a day.
The computer was handed down to me, but if you want to give me the money to build a hackintosh, I'll gladly accept it.
Woah, I love that desk. Where'd you get it ?
I'm really bad at getting in these early.
Pic is Harman Kardon NC
Sound is detailed and has good clarity. Average sound stage. And when I listen on the PC it seems to lack bass. But when I use it on my phone it does have the bass that I want as long as I use the equalizer/settings. Also it has active noise canceling, although I rarely even use it because just the earpads isolate noise well enough. The thing you gotta watch out for is whether the "small" headband will be too tight on your head. The extra band in the retail box is a large one.
SUPERNIGHT LED Strips on Amazon. I got the 16 foot with remote package. Pretty cheap and good, but the adhesive doesn't like multiple surfaces. So make sure wherever you stick it first, is where it's gonna stay.
It needs a little color, actually. Without the headphone stand or a plant or picture or something like that its nice, but kinda empty.
This looks extremely comfortable
Those are samsung speakers with a glossy finish that I sanded. I'll be replacing them with some monitors in the near future.
It's just a bungee. It prevents the cable to be trapped/tense. It's great and since it was free even better (it costs around 30$).
I'd say go for a small plant first, bamboo or a small aloe. I wouldn't recommend a money tree like I have, because if you feel obligated to care for every living creature in your life like I do, its gonna get way to big to keep on your desk in a very short period of time.
They're Arthur Miller (top) and F. Scott Fitzgerald. I find both very interesting and really like Miller's plays.
Grey sounds good. Like it as always though.
Like it, does indeed look comfy.
Tidy, I like it.
Like the lighting, and the desk is nice and tidy.
Seems basic. Could be worse I guess.
Might rate more later but I've got work to do and am super tired.
will make new moody pictures in some days when my monitor comes back from repair
If he actually knew how to polish stuff other than dicks he would have found a job.
All he does is put up studs and saw up plywood and post the 49th version of his B.ullS.hit. Still hasn't finished the game he has been making.
What is the biggest monitor you've used?
I want to get either a tv or a monitor (or maybe both) for my bedroom. Would a 40" 1080p tv be too big to use as a monitor? I would mostly use it to watch videos (no gayming), but I might want something bigger than the 15" laptop I use as my main computer.
Would a 40" monitor just be too hueg? If so I'll probaby settle for a 32" as a bedroom tv/entertainment monitor screen
I've been selling Pepes for real life cash and they're doing pretty good.
For videos it would be at least a few feet away. For use as a monitor, I ask because one of my friends that I've coded with before uses a 32" 1080p tv in his room as a monitor along with his desktop, and that seemed acceptable to me for general use.
I just figured from time to time, I might want something bigger than my 900p laptop monitor for working on a project or a paper or something.
Any monitor size above 20" is a nice upgrade coming from a daily laptop screen. I mean seriously, all my friends who were daily laptop users now connect to a monitor when at home and are super content with it. TV's are fine as long as you are estimated about 3 feet away at least. Like I said, it all depends on your eyes, so you should test it out at a friends setup before you decide.
That one isn't a pepe, it's just tyler durden. All my pepes have Pepe in the name. This is the source of my profit though, see what you can do with it.
Just a quick crappy pic to show I finally got my Korean PLS. $165 on ebay no bad pixels or light bleed.
Sennheiser HD 600 arrives in less than 24 hours
My station isn't going to change too drastically
I'm moving a triple monitor mount from something else over here, so I can use one computer for gaming and one for work/browsing
I'll probably pick up a few major headphones eventually, like the V6 and M50
Loving the green theme
Make the other side of your desk a little less dead looking
Get rid of that old style lamp and maybe put it next to your bed
Nice White Russian
Looks awesome dude
I'm renovating the house/building a new desk, so my battlestation currently has the footprint of exactly one IKEA Lack side table.
Looks like your PC is filled with gravel.
It's DIY. I had the countertop made, (around $200,) and ordered the legs online, (another $100.) Here's a better photo of the side...
Well, damn. How does the bottom/back look? I can see the two sets of legs on either end but do you also have some legs in the corner of the desk?
Anything nice is always a hell of a lot of work, it seems, but what can you do!
The back edge is unfinished as is the bottom. I used a corner bracket mounted to the wall to support the back corner. I'm thinking of having a new one made that matches the countertop that the fishtank is on and kitchen. Plus black just shows fingerprints and pawprints too easily...
god damn all that equipment
I just bought the same two tables as you last week
looks a bit cramped but I like it
nice monitors there
that wood paneling is ruining everything
always liked your setup, looks better without the legos
love it, and love the pictures
got a beardie?
that dark stain is really nice
I wish I had nice hardwood
also, I need a better camera
I'm not a fan of the pearl either. It's my friends drum but I've had it for 2 years and a half now and he never came to play it. I'd probably buy a Yamaha or a Tama but I don't know much about drums and really I have a huge feeling than 99% of the sound is in the heads rather than the shell.
As for the warlocks, I'm sorry for you. My jacksons play realy well and when I get the last RR24 (black with red bevels) I'm getting a PRS Custom 24
