I think it works extremely well for one page with list-like info (sites with low content), if it's well coded: ie small personal site, quick portfolio.
Unfortunately, that's not often what it's used for. If you're not going to scroll through it like a list, don't use it. Most of these sites are using it as a main origination with a lot of content. It's just bloated and not a surprise they run like shit when implemented that way.
Hi, I am learning how to use Blender for a couple of months now and I know basics. I need advice what should I do, like today I was trying to create some more better looking barn and it was a struggle. Should I keep watching tutorials about the things I want to create, or should try to do it by my own and keep trying till I make it?
>>250952 >>>/3/ (sticky) learn about 3d workflow don't watch tutorials unless you are looking to achieve something specific. also try learning the basics first and then track your progress as you start doing more and more complex stuff.
Hi guys! Total noob here. I need new graphics for my post-hardcore band "This Fall". I would like to use this Zdzisław Beksiński paint as background and put the name on it but I don't know any good font that can match and have no idea how to make it nice. Can someone give me a hand?
Hey /gd/, My dad's starting a new business as a facilitator for craftsmen. Basically he has a bunch of different electricians, plumbers, carpenters etc at his disposal and he send them on jobs and administrates the costs then he takes a cut.
He specifically said he wanted the name 'Omeega' for the business.
I'm not claiming to be remotely good at graphic design, this is my first foray into 'business branding' if you could call it that so I don't know what i'm doing here, so critique and advice would be great. I just... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>250854 Fuck it lets have a WACOM thread. I just got an Intuos ART, and it's my first tablet. I feel like a mongoloid doofus with a brain injury trying to operate this thing. Does that feeling go away? I just wanna draw shit, mang.
>>250854 I bought an A4 Wacom Intous 3 way back in 2005, still have it and use it to this day...It's not in great condition, there are scratches on the drawing surface and the pen nibs are all worn down to almost nothing and the USB cable is a little sensitive but functionally it still works perfectly and I still use it to this day. Not bad for some 10 year old tech.
>>250870 It does anon. I have an intuos photo, which I only bought because of the sweet black colour. Lately i've used the for all purposes, switching to a mouse only for gaming. I use the left buttons for Show desktop and Switch application and the right ones for zoom in and out.
A skilled draftsman will generally not have any trouble to draw things cleanly like that, with or without vectors doesn't really matter.
It is still entirely possible that it was done with vectors though, e.g. using the freehand tool, or that it was drawn as bitmap and then auto-traced to get the linework to look crisp at high resolutions. The corner variations could be produced just as much by a bitmap brush as by a vector-tool. It could even be drawn on physical paper with a stabilo/fineliner and then scanned, who knows.

> Im studying draphic design > From Spain (high unemployment rate) > There's no fucking possibilities of work as graphic designer > Being "freenlance" isn't an option And here comes the great question: Which country could be better to work as graphic designer?
Most likely China, but since you do not speak Chinese you are fucked anyway and the salary is going to be worse than you would've made even at a shitty job in Spain. However, as Chinese schools do not value creative classes as it can lead to "rebellious behavior" not many Chinese people are creative beyond the traditional arts and a lot of their graphic design, architecture etc. are actually western foreigners.
Just apply to fucking everything, even internships. Do internships while you are studying even if you do not consider yourself to have the time.
>>250829 Thanks dude, it is an option when i get experience in travelling and in chinese speaking Hahaha... I think that i need to mature for get a organized life and planning some internships to foreign countries. Did you travel to other country to work as graphic designer?
