>>250618 pick a sans serif font to compliment the structure of the buildings. can probly simplify the color scheme to show off what you want. like, what is the point of the low opacity or the highlight on the left? do you want to show depth or a silhouette? is there a reason to all this besides trying to make it look more interesting? maybe just grayscale or is there a reason for the orange? make every choice intentional rather than looking like an accident
Critiques? This was my first time doing a T-Shirt design without any free hand drawing besides the sketch and the shading. Bit of a Star Wars and Portal crossover for the nerds with the deep pockets. Does it look legit? Improvements for the next design that I should focus on? Detail is very much appreciated!
If anyone is interested in it, I uploaded it to TeePublic, you can find it under the user meggiemoose.
Anyone else experiencing problems with photoshop and illustrator in windows? When i use the alt+scroll to zoom sometimes it switches keyboard focus to the top menu so whenever i try using a shortcut such as V it opens view. This is really starting to piss me off, has anyone found a solution?
Do things like 99designs and swiftly. People usually shit on programs like that but those people usually don't actually have careers in design. It's good practice with real projects and can make you a bit of dough while you build up a portfolio to get real gigs.
How do advertisement companies take a digital copy of a product and post on online e-shops and TV commercials? They have consistent lights and no intense shadows/reflections, they are clean and well presented. What are the principles of photography for this and post-production? I didn't post this in /p/ cause there is obviously a digital re-touch for the final result. Pic related, it is from an e-shop.
the finger animation is a little stiff though. you should start using the rule of thirds when drawing the in-betweens to make the movement smoother. take a look at the "timing and spacing" section of pic related. there's a pdf of it online posting a link to it is detected as spam.
