>>249763 don't do it. i never seen a decent logo that have flare on it. but if you are making a banner try looking for itzqehzy or mbapsgraphics (http://mbapsgfx.carbonmade.com) on youtube they both made a photoshop pack with different effects (flares, grunge textures, particles etc.) so other people can use on their designs. b.t.w. your design would look way better outlined see: >http://gomedia.com/zine/tutorials/thick-line-art-creating-iconic-vector-art/
Hey lads I want to add special effects (nothing huge like corridor digital or anything) just stupid shit like a transparent explosion video over my face or me throwing a 2d sprite of something. I'm obviously not spending assloads of money on Vegas or after effects for something like that. Anything you guys can recommend would be great.
Pic related, basically the only thing I would be adding to a video
if anyone is good with graphic design, there's a pretty solid symbol that we can use. the only thing is that this one is more of a marker drawing than an actual computerized image, if someone wants to make this look more professional and symmetrical
I'm having trouble getting any kind of isometric shapes set up in Illustrator. I've tried several guides and turning snapping on and off yet I still can't get shapes I create to line up at the points, and the lines to meet and not overlap. Does anyone have experience with this?
>>249713 enable smart guides and follow this >http://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-create-pixel-perfect-artwork-using-adobe-illustrator--cms-23907 other way would be doing things flat and then use extrude bevel to rotate the shapes around (not sure if people use this but it's way easier since you can save the filter config and apply to multiple shapes or groups)
Hey /gd/, how does one decide on a name for company or project? I have been through many ideas in my head and on paper but none of them seem to go any further than a couple of designs before I feel discouraged. What is the key to getting something to stick?
Is it possible or feasible to rely solely on your images, not a name or brand to convey the message of your work? im looking to start designing things for screen printing and adhesive stickers etc but I feel like I need some sort of brand name to be even relatively successful in my endeavours.
I have a folder filled with 300 images and videos of content I made. Such as drawings/photoshops/animations. Where do I take off with this? I'm a degenerate and I don't know how to get people to recognize me. I'll post some samples of shit I did. I might be posting photoshits I did for acquaintances so I'll atleast censor /part/ of their faces.
