any way to only show recently installed fonts on photoshop? or to make the list only list certain ones? the reason for this is that the system comes by default with 99999999999999 fonts, and most of them are shit, so i wonder how desginers deal with this in relation to custom fonts? i mean, i've installed a decent amount of fonts, but obviously i don't remember the name of all of them, so later on it's pretty much liked i never installed them to begin with since they get lost in a sea of default fonts. how do you do that? or do you guys use fonts you install as... I am losing my fucking mind here. I am trying to export a photoshop composition as a *.dds, using NVidia's DDS Plugin for Photoshop. The output setting is DXT5 interpolated alpha, as it's a semi-transparent thing (It's an overlay graphics for a remote operated turret camera for a game I am modding).
Yet, when I save the file with the settings in pic related, despite having an alpha channel set and all (even manually adjusted, rather than merely selected from RGB), my file comes out black - or, 100% transparent. The MIP maps show up, but... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>246008 But what about the file imported in the map editor? Is it displayed like this when imported in the game engine? Also surely have to enable its transparency via a shader. Name of the game? >>246015 The plugin is ok. I got no problem with Unreal Tournement 2003/2004/2007.
/r/ was useless as always, so, I'm curious if I could get some advice.
I would like to make a small run of patches that have the text " Удaлитeль кeбaбa " in a shape similar to the attached picture. I was wondering if any of you could walk me through how to do that on pixlr or MS Paint (too poor for photoshop). I'd appreciate it more if someone could do it for me, but I don't expect that.
>>245961 Firstly, use a vector graphics environment for logos (such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Corel Draw, etc) Secondly, use a grid while designing to enhance proportions, give your design some rhythm and balance.
I'm seeking some critique for a division page in my school's yearbook. Our yearbook theme implies beauty, hence the flowers and the color palette. So /gd/ what changes should I make to improve upon this?
I took a quick glance at it and just about the only thing I would say is to take out the drawings you have on there. In my opinion the illustrations come off as either not polished enough or amateurish whereas the majority of the other work on there does NOT give off that vibe. Secondly, I'm not entirely convinced of the navigation of the site with the 'three lines in the corner' thing. Other than that your presentation is very nice. I particularly like your album works. Good stuff overall, man.
Just began using inkscape, whatchu thinkin' about it? I feel like the part I vectorized from a picture is still decent (though the model's face doesn't look like that at all, can't figure out how to get the features of her face right), but the drawn part is pure shit.
>>245797 This is clearly very basic. The colours are childish. Have a look around the web (an I don't mean just the logos but the current design in general) and get inspired. Read some tutorials on colour and such.
Most importantly, don't get disappointed over haters.
