I would like some feedback on a project, but I must I'm a web developer not a graphic designer. Or at least I'm trying to become one. I landed an internship with a small company but I'm not working with someone more advanced, I'm building a small site completely and putting my name on it when done. I want to make the best of it but really don't have design experience.
I don't want to do a massive overhaul, and I'm not quite in the final stage but you can see where I'm going with this. "Logo" will actually... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>244286 Nope, not bait. Just unskilled/inexperienced. So your recommendation would be to pare back the outside containers and let the header, footer, and main content container be by itself? Black and white isn't too boring?
I have to do a group business plan for Uni and I've been tasked with creating a logo for our fictional company. I made this in photoshop and it's complete shit. Can anyone give me some tips on how to improve it and not look like I made it in MS Paint? I have an extremely limited understanding of photoshop but I'm fairly decent at learning things like this. Also, pls no bully over the logo, I know it's awful.
Hi guys, I need to make a logo for a Job Opportunity Association and i am a shit with Photoshop.. That must be related to the world of jobs, and the acronym "AEJO" on it. Best one will get Fallout 4 for Steam, post Steam ID! :D
>>244020 Bro I don't know where you live, but I live in one of the cheapest parts of the US and I started at $30k/yr straight out of college 2 years ago. And I'm not even a specialist. If you specialize in motion, you don't suck, you've been at it 5 years and you don't live in Zimbabwe, you should be making at LEAST twice what I am.
I repair computers to pay for my college and I've been using this logo that I personally did to my little workshop we last 10 months, any ideas for improvement? I am certainly not a designer, so I have no clue how to do it better.
>>243989 Few things, make sure the cricles at the end of the lines are in the middle of the circle, make them all smaller if they over lap onto lines next to them. The lines should get only a dot on one end the far left one has 2 and the one next to it has none. make the font on the bottem bold too, it seems too thin compaired to the top writing.
Nice logo. I suggest making it simpler--keep the major design you have, put less into it. I agree with making the circles intersect the lines at their centers. The first thing when I see when I look at this is the graphic instead of the name. I suggest making the graphic smaller to sort of frame the D. the text and image should be equally ballanced.
Otherwise, good work on a potentially problematic design.
>>243973 >>243977 The majority of my work is print design, logo work, client-based stuff like album covers, illustrations, motion graphics, and some UI design.
I have some basic knowledge of HTML/CSS but definitely wouldn't say I'm trying to show that stuff off. I know enough that I definitely plan on throwing in some custom code to tweak the template, but that's definitely not a point of emphasis I'm trying to show off.

Family friend wanted a leaflet to promote a new business, said I'd help out. This is my first proof. I know something is wrong with it, but I don't know what. I feel its lacking, but I don't want to over-clutter it. Any advice?
so ive mostly been lurking around here for some time now but im getting really frustrated with my illustrator. The reason being my fcking Align tool doesnt work. if i selected objects or text or whatever (everything) and then click on one of the align buttons nothing changes ive also googled the shit out of it but the only problem people seem to have is that it wont align in the center. But for me it doesnt align at all. please could somebody help me, i really want it to work ive even reinstalled it but still nothing happens. thank you

There are three align methods: • Align to selection (which you have probably selected) • Align to artboard (exactly what it says on the tin) • Align to Key Object (with multiple objects selected, click an already selected object again, [not holding shift] and it will get a thicker selection outline, and the object will align to it)
>>243614 1. Something inside a tooth will always look like a cavity or something along those lines. Reverse it, make a tooth inside of the sun. It will also make more sense scale-wise (the sun is infinitely bigger than a tooth).
2. A white logo doesn't make sense. What do you do when you need to have it printed on white paper?
3. That tooth doesn't look like a tooth and that sun looks weird not being complete.
HOLY SHIT THERE'S A SUN EXPLODING OUT OF THE ROOT OF MY TOOTH.
This image looks like the next thing that's gonna happen is that he's gonna hemmorage out of the root of his tooth. OP you've managed to give me images of people with blood flooding out of their mouths based on your design.
