The pyramids were originally built on mars by an ancient civilization. They created those pyramids because they destroyed their planet, as the people of planet mostly had a male persona and held science over compassion, which caused them to destroy their planet through technology. Anyway, the pyramids they created were a way to transport to the next habitable planet, which was earth.
At the time earth mostly had people with a female persona, meaning they were more compassionate than the martian people. The earth people didn't really care much for the technology and the aggression brought by the new martians so they kicked them out and gave them their own part of the earth. The martians tried to make another planet hopping device in egypt, but the earth people prevented them from activating it because they feared it would destroy the planet, like what happened to mars.
They're still there because it took like 10,000 people and untold millions/billions of man-hours to pile up all of those rocks in the first place, and it would take the same amount of mechanical energy to destroy them.
Ain't nobody got time for that.
Besides, Egypt has been run by a military deep state since forever.
It's possible that it was to demonstrate the power of the pharaohs, either to the citizens or to the neighboring powers. Building those monuments required an enormous amount of manpower, to not only build the pyramids themselves but to transport and carve the stone blocks too. Providing food alone for the labourers would have been extremely resource extensive.
> By about 3600 BC, neolithic Egyptian societies along the Nile River had based their culture on the raising of crops and the domestication of animals. Shortly after 3600 BC Egyptian society began to grow and advance rapidly toward refined civilization. A new and distinctive pottery, which was related to the pottery in the Southern Levant, appeared during this time. Extensive use of copper became common during this time. The Mesopotamian process of sun-dried bricks, and architectural building principles—including the use of the arch and recessed walls for decorative effect—became popular during this time.

pic related is a step Pyramid from Uruk that is at least a 1000 years older than the Great Pyramids.
So why did the Egyptians build the Pyramids? They built them because Brick based pyramids could not handle the weight that huge pyramids exerted on the foundations. The Egyptians innovated the Pyramid process by swapping out BRICKS for BLOCKS.
cont examples- They built the Great Pyramids because they were perfecting the art of building large structures.
>>37599 Anyone can make a doghouse but what works for a 1-1/2 feet structure usually cannot be scaled even by a factor of 100. It's a scaling engineering problem. A pyramid is the only big thing you can build without knowing how to build. The reason is that when you double a solid the mass goes up by a factor of 8 and the strength in simple materials like wood has to do with the area ,its like with our muscles, that's why gymnast are small they are small cause they can have relative large muscles they have short muscles arms and they weigh a bit less. Grasshoppers have the same human muscle fiber but because of their size they jump 100 times their own length and we can't. Special thanks to Alan Kay for teaching me this.
