Is America's fear of immigrants in any way unique or is it pretty common for Western European cultures?
all cultures dislike people who are different from them
What NYC did to Penn station is honestly the worst.
probably one of my favorite photos
I'll admit that I haven't had much exposure to studies of European views of immigrants but we Americans seem to have a flair for demonizing immigrants.
and what's this we shit, my family came over in the 1600s
If you want info try reverse searching with google, between 4chan and my phone filenames go to hell
I meant "we" as in "this group of which I am a part of" not "we" as in "you and I"
German ancestors immigrated c.1724
Irish ancestors immigrated c. 1800
Spanish and Mestizo ancestors immigrated c. 1890
I also have confirmed Comanche ancestors and unsubstantiated Blackfeet and Muskgee ancestry. I am LITERALLY more American than you desu senpai

I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to Death, Nor known to Life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, unlimited blade works.

>A 1943 lithograph by the German artist Andreas Paul Weber provides the inspiration and title of my project. Mr. Weber was an artist known for his political satire. He created expressionistic images showing the social and political tensions of the Weimar era that ultimately ended with the rise of the National Socialism in Germany.
>Weber’s 1943 piece (see image) presents urban apartment buildings with a gigantic dragon or monster flying over an adjacent street. The monster appears to be collecting people from their apartment’s windows, or perhaps the monster is being formed by those who jump from their windows. This piece was, no doubt, a frank commentary of those times, a metaphor on the concept of “mob mentality” and the violence that it can bring.
>Weimar Germany was both a difficult and vibrant time. After the First World War, reconstruction of the country brought a socially progressive era and an open debate of many modern concepts and new ideas. However an unbearable inflation, political crisis, and ultimately the advance of the National Socialism, brought to an abrupt end this fascinating cultural and artistic era that helped shape the modern western world.
It honestly makes me sad that whites in the states have such a bad attitude towards mexicans eventhough we've shed blood in all the major wars that this country has had. It especially hurts me since every generation in my family has joined the military including myself. There is good whites however. I met one of my best buds in Afghanistan in. C.E unit building that base.

That's a shitty way of thinking. Would you appreciate if someone said "there are good Mexicans". You're generalizing too, I'm white AND Mexican. Am I a good white?
BTW, is interested, here's who's in the pic:
Standing, from left to right: King Haakon VII of Norway, Tsar Ferdinand of the Bulgarians, King Manuel II of Portugal and the Algarve, Kasier Wilhelm II of Germany and Prussia, King George I of the Hellenes and King Albert I of the Belgians.
Seated, from left to right: King Alfonso XIII of Spain, King George V of the United Kingdom and King Frederick VIII of Denmark.
I don't hate Mexicans. I hate large numbers of non educated, non native speaking people flooding into a country and driving down wages without paying taxes. They are illegal because they did not legally follow to nations immigration laws. Whether those laws should be altered is a different argument. As long as it is law it should be upheld or the law has no meaning.
Soviet Cosmonaut. Got sent on a mission despite everybody knowing that the craft had major holes in its design. Demanded an open-casket funeral if he died so that people would know how his country had betrayed him. He got it.
Not incredibly effective.
You'd have to stomp on it pretty hard to impact the primer hard enough to detonate and without a barrel to focus and control the shot (which is now being restrained by a leather boot) it wouldn't nearly be as forceful as an actual gunshot.
