i didn't quite understand what you want (cus your english is fucked but no biggie) but if you want nothing else but forest then there are couple variations, maybe a bigger tree on the backside, or a scarcer part of the forest with burnt trees and crows.
If you want more than just trees, then I'd go with a looming castle in the back or a small cabin puffing smoke.
i hope you realise you are the least creative person ive ever met, i personally know 3 people with the exact same tattoo and have said the exact same thing, except they had it all around the wrist and the wolf was white and they had the trees going into animal heads followed by mountains and shit if that helps, yours truly - alot of people
Almost every phone, tablet and computer now use these LED backlit screens, and they make everything look alien and strange. Red and blues are exaggerated heavily and harmony is left behind for boldness. It's like when you look at the world and then at the screen, you have to "change keys", because they're not saying the same thing. LEDs are more immediately impressive but lose out on the complexity that the LCDs had
Pic related was one of the few examples I could find on google (LED is left), I'll see I can find some more
notice the top left corner is green in the tablet and blue in the phone. all the tablet colours are balanced nicely (if you look past the bad picture quality) whereas the phone's are just loud, the red of the dress is almost overwhelming
one is an intricate harmony and the other fields of colour shouting at you

>>2632118 My nigga, Kaneki. If you want to know what people will pay for, just look through /aco/ or /d/ for threads that have absolutely shit art. People will pay for high-quality, especially if there is a drought on it.
>>2643980 sweat, farts, and stale cumrags, like the common basement dweller
>>2643974 >character that's not a character, that's a generic sprite you use for inconsequential background npcs, usually representing an entire class of people (eg common generic soldier), due to complete lack of defining characteristics or character itself
I wanna start painting as a venting tool for my problems, any paintfags that can tell me where/how to start? I've never painted outside of gay-ass 5th grade art special shit where everybody painted stickfigures side by side, so I have zero ACTUAL experience.
>>2642770 'if there is a voice inside your head that says 'i can't paint' then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced' -vincent van gogh.
buy paints.and canvas. get a photograph of what you want to paint. sketch it onto the canvas with a pencil. then try and paint it. trial and error. learn from your mistakes. keep working and working, copying other artists you admire, be it picasso, van gogh, who ever, until you create something you're happy with.
>>2643610 I'm in the same boat,I know only one good torrent for schoolisim and its only of a few old ones (a few bobby chu, ect). I'll be lurking and hunting with you op
>>2643626 Your logic is fucking retarded; most people go with "stealing is bad" but your argument is "if you aren't already successful, these are of no use to you" which contradicts the whole idea of the tutorial in the first place. >>2641643 it looks good if it's done making choices based on some ground, it push edges you wan't to push when done right, with color contrast, it makes edges more readable when the layer placements are not too far (then it gets blurry)
there's no discussion it's over used with disgusting criterias tho
Learn how to present your work. This is almost unbearable to look at it.
But instead of just being a asshole I'm actually going to give you a piece of useful advice of how you can photograph your drawings with a cellphone. Take a small piece of tape and stick the drawing to a wall in a room with good lighting and then take a picture of it. That's it. It's generally harder to take a good picture of something laying on a horisontal surface such as a table
I'm looking for critiques before I make this a full blown painting. It would be large scale, 8 x 10 feet something like that and well rendered. A lot of the faces are from popular culture and they are meant to convey anger. The white moth in the center would be a symbol of peace amid the chaos.
Visual snow is when neural activity in the visual cortex is simply operating at too high a baseline, with many neurons firing more often than they should. At the level of perception, this would be seen as white specks in the visual field.
Basically, people who can process large amounts of visual information and are altogether artistically talented individuals.
Many renowned artists have mentioned they have visual snow: Kim jung Gi, Sycra, Proko and even Vilpu, etc.
So i/c, do you have visual snow? Or are you simply someone with no talent or redeeming qualities,... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>2639959 Watched it a couple times. Beginning was starting to get a cool vibe. Once it started on the robot talking and music I felt it became a bit on the nose. I feel like you should either go all the way with the juxtaposition of humans and automatons like the beginning or focus on telling the story of the robots attacking.
There's some interesting bits sandwiching the robot uprising part. The plain storytelling bit didn't do much for me.
I finally got my start working with vectors a few weeks ago but haven't had time to work on a fully rendered, shaded, background piece yet. I personally think it came out well, but I'm still new to the program. I used Live Paint to shade the character and clipping masks for the background.
Besides art what are some other hobbies you guys have and how do you manage them all?
Between art( 2d, digital, and learning animation), learning two languages and the guitar, it's pretty hard but fun at the same time. I want manage myself better though because some hobbies get more time than others.
> I realize saying art is too broad. You can also talk about different mediums you do, trying to learn or want to do.
Andrew loomis books good to start off with? does he just explain theory on drawing or explaining how to draw? looked though one of his books and i seen mostly text. my teacher said to buy one of his books if i wanted to learn how to draw so fuck it.
>>2642566 I assume you are a beginner. Buy the "Figure drawing for all its worth". Its the best one out of them. I can already say you are not going to be serious enough. Beginners never are. The first ~40 pages of the book (till the actual anatomy portion) contains really tight pack of fundamentals which the rest then builds on top. Loomis' mistake is that he explains really important stuff without explaining the importance of it. Take two months and study the first portion everyday for 2-3 hours.... Comment too long. Bump, relevant to my interests. As someone who draws mainly traditional, using a non-display tablet seems just weird. Something like Surface seems like it could be a nice alternative to something more Cintiq-style (as in with a display), albeit with a smaller screen. What does /ic/ have to say about it?
>>2640893 i use own a surface pro 1 and 3 and always use my tablets for drawing. here's something I drew on my surface pro 1. the pro 1 uses wacom tech while the pro 3 has ntrig but I haven't noticed too much of a difference.
Hello /ic/ I know we mostly talk about tablets here but I'm wondering what sort of scanners you like as well, for scanning physical works? Are there any portable scanners you'd recommend in particular?
I bought a Mustek large format scanner to scan a rare historic book, it stopped working after a week and they never responded to my emails so their "warranty" ran out. Kind of superficial but it also had the ugliest and most user-unfriendly software interface I'd ever seen in my goddamn life. I wish I knew of an alternative brand because I still want to scan that book but I'm not giving those Taiwanese mustard monkeys another dime.
I am fucking over graffiti writers complaining about street artists, honestly most of these dick heads can only paint straight, letters, throw ups and cartoon characters and could barely get any paid work even if they tried.
That is the real reason these dick head graffiti writers hate street artists so much.
Unless you can do some mad 3D style letters like sofles or totem or you are a pioneer like Dondi white I am not really impressed.
Fuck off with your straight letter pieces with basic fills and cartoon characters yiu didnt even design.
