>>2254986 I hate seeing threads like this. They are not constructive in any way. If you start a thread with nothing but evil intent, you can bet your ass the thread will be nothing but shit. Great fucking job on not contributing to this board at all, OP.
>>2250795 Well it sounds like you don't even know what to do yet, at this point I would suggest looking at different styles and find one that suits your tastes, personalize it, and apply it to what you want to do art is wayyyyyy too broad to say you just want a solid understanding. What do you want to do
>>2250317 Because Anthony Jones, while a good painter, is a terrible teacher. He rambles on with a congested voice, you would be much better served watching from someone that can actually teach in bite sized focused videos like Matt Kohr on ctrl paint
>>2250322 I completely disagree, I think Anthony Jones is a bit too "Mr. Conceptart"-ish, and despite that he is actually a really good teacher because he knows how to keep the audience interested. There's nothing wrong with the way that Matt Kohr teaches, it's really good, but if you want to learn something it is good with variation. Anthony is able to set apart from other teachers by bringing a lot of humor into painting, poke fun at things and try to be funny, and it might not work for everyone;... Comment too long. What are the best sites to see artistic nudes to use as source for art-works?
I want to use pic related as a source for a Venus drawing, however I can’t find a perfect position to the work I intend. I plan in using another model position and then the features of the girl in the epic.
So, any good site for artistic nudes (lots of images, several different bodies)?
>>2249763 >seems like the front page is also stuck on orgasm mode only the tip top are show every one else aint matter, f that,..,.,.
Dude what? That's what made cghub so fucking great in the first place. That their front page was always displaying work of much higher quality than you'd see on the frontpage of Deviantart, Artstation or CA.org. That's what I always loved about cghub, to just f5 the front page and find amazing new artists who I've never heard of before without... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
That depends entirely on you and your workflow. Not everybody paints or draws the same.
Do you even have a workflow? Are there a set of steps you use to create a drawing? If so, let that be your jumpoff point. If not, maybe get a workflow before you look to start optimizing your workflow.
>>2249691 Like I said I'm a Sai guy, so I'm used to much more simple tools. I'm wanting to use PS for more paint studies and working with values. Sai has methods for that sure, but PS seems to be a better too from what I can see.
I'm thinking it's just a case of what >>2249689 said and just use what's necessary, but I'm not entirely sure what is and what isn't.
