I don't know what to do anymore, /ic/... I want to >do fine art >do animoo shit >do animoo porn >make a comic >do concept art for video games ALL AT THE SAME TIME I end up working on several things at a time and I feel like I'll never make progress in any of them if I don't focus on just one... But I also have to think of something that can be at least a bit profitable... How do I make up my mind? Have you guys gone through something similar?
My mind has done this sort of thing, but I always think that maybe signing up for an art college or someshit would actually get me making stuff.
Like, I can´t really do stuff on my own. I feel like in order to have things in order, I need something like "anon, you must make a character study of this involving this and concept" and then I make it.
Im not too good at thinking on my own.
I love to draw, and Im gud imo, but with this power, I don´t know what to draw desu.
What digital art programs do you main people of /ic/?
Question I have I have CS6 (le pirate meme and the master collection), what is the difference between CS6, CC 2014, and CC 2015? Is there any benefits I'm missing out from the later versions compare to CS6?

I'm interested to hear about your experiences with art workshops or other online services offering art education be it CGMA, conceptart.org LEVEL UP!, pencilkings.com oor whatever else you used and how it helped you if it did.
>>2383007 workshops are garbage, take the actual classes or a mentorship on patreon. CGMA, schoolism, some of the learnsquared shit is good. If you're gonna do a mentorship make sure the teacher is worthwhile, like james paick, john park.
Ignore me , i'm just a passing-by faggot . I have a tumblr for over 4 years now and i've seen the art community and shit and i was planning to post my art more often and actually make a serious blog with my art on it after i go to college but i've seen some people using also wordpress and other blogging platforms. So , my question is , why do you use tumblr/wordpress/blogger whatever you are using ? And your experiences on other platforms and such ? I want to make a wordpress website for my portofolio and webcomic but i'm sceptic a little. Is it flexible... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I know I need to master the absolute basics before doing anything but drawing lines and cubes is so demotivating when you have this idea of how good you want to be. I feel like once I would enter the stage where I can produce half-decent drawings I would be a lot more motivated to work on improving myself. But I just can't find the drive to get there even though I know there is no way around it and I do want to be able to draw.
>>2382982 >master the absolute basics before doing anything but drawing lines and cubes This is how autists think. You've seen 5 year olds paint before haven't you?
Don't fear colours, work on your skills as a whole. This isn't some hierarchy of shit to be learned. I mean, I didn't really get values until I started painting. It clicked when I was able to create a single-value flat painting with all the values encoded in warm/cool contrast.

/ic/, is it just me or half of the color wheel completely lacks in vocabulary/cultural background?
I can tell the difference between blues with some attention, sure, but they are all BLUE to me.
Now, I know I can find a pretty fancy name for every shade of color humanity has ever seen, but only house decor people care for that stuff.
Do you also have some trouble telling what kind of blue or green you should use? Do you feel there are too many blues and foolproofing with Ctrl + U is the only way to tell for sure? That never happens to me with the other... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Your confusion might just be that the Photoshop color wheel has two black corners which is completely useless, and the ideal one would have three corners. But a square looks better from a design perspective.
