Hello there /ic/, first of all as someone who doesnt celebrate christmas, happy holidays!I hope you had tons of satisfying food and laughs with your loved ones.Its around 4 am over here, i am, as usual, sipping my tea and studying on my midnight anatomy run when a question came up to my mind.I wonder what other beverages people enjoy consuming while working.So, in order, if you are intrested the questions are;
-Do you drink anything while you work? If so what is it?
-How do you like your said beverage?
-How long does it take you to down a cup/glass/can and... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>2327113 Usually I stick with black coffee, or if I'm dehydrated I'll drink water. I don't think what you drink really has an impact on your art unless there is alcohol or if you are not used to large amounts of caffeine or something. Half the time when you get really into a painting you forget you even have a drink by your side and don't end up finishing it.
hi guys, this is what happens. I want to give this girl I like a coffee mug with a charlie the unicorn design because she is crazy about it, but I can't find a decent big size image of charlie to make the impression :( I'm desperate so I'm drawing upon to the most drastic resource i can think of: you guys. I have this design I made by myself but it's too small. I need something about 1000x800 so the impression won't blur. Please guys if you could help me with any image or even an idea I would really appreciate it.
>>2327016 I have a 24HD. I tried the 22 in the store two years ago when I was buying it. They feel the same, its just the size difference. Buying any of them is good. Im not sure about the smaller model and the companion as they are really small so might not be a good investment compared to an intuos or some alternative screen drawing tablet (there are some korean and chinese manufacturers which aint so horrible I heard). I got wacom mainly because I didn't wanna worry if its gonna break down in a few years.
>>currently making the basis for a world to set a game in.
>>>this alignment chart shows the basic ideologies of the primal forces in this world represented by these character god type things, paired with what are basically rough sketches of what i want them to look like (squid monsters, humanoids, vaguely dark spirit things etc)
my question for yall, who has done, or been part of, a project that requires extensive world/lore building, and what are some potentially good strategies for going about... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Bump in curiosity While building a lore i would guess one builds the worlds rules and laws. And set a chronology with logical events that lead to the current game event. Maybe taking reference of real life past >maybe saying the crystal clear obvious
>>2326795 I just checked the site and its very VERY basic stuff. If you have no fundamentals whatsoever, it might be ok (somewhat). Overall, its pretty bad for anyone who wants to learn and be a professional.
>>2326788 I guess i must have been a bit unclear, what i meant was i either want to order drawings from the anons here or if there happens to be someone who wants to practice but does not know what to draw, but hey kudos for telling me that free art is illegal here now i know more.
Are there any tricks to getting good with a tablet? Just got one this morning for Christmas and I've been fidgeting with it for a couple of hours, but I still feel like a kindergarten kid who just picked up crayons for the first time.
