Learning the language of Earth's next great good language overlords.
It's time to figure out EXACTLY at what point does an ethnicity change down a bloodline, if any. Do Americans get to claim Irish blood after 4 generations? or 3? maybe 5?
Example: Blacks are born in USA every day. It's the norm. People look at black people and they are 100% okay with calling them AMERICAN. When it comes to Mexicans though, people see them and they call them Mexican, even if the lad was born here in USA.
There are also cases and such when Mexicans claim to be Mexican, they are proud to be Mexican, they are patriotic, despite being born...

>one chance at life
>not born in Switzerland
Could be worse. You could be born in Switzerland, but not be granted citizenship. You could further be forced to live in a third world hellhole, despite having your first decade lived in one of the greatest countries on the planet for quality of life.
>You could be born in Switzerland, but not be granted citizenship.
How is that even possible? That would be horrible getting so close to belonging to the apex of civilization only to be cucked in the first few moments of your life.

The sticky gives very solid advice regarding what I'm trying to learn atm, Mandarin and Swedish.
Problem is there's no resource to help with English, I can already read and listen to pretty much anything, I'd like to think my expression is correct but not flawless obviously. Anyway sometimes I won't understand certain words during conversation. It gets even worse when I'm trying to read some complicated lyrics, I feel like I lack a large...

one tip for you is when you are reading those song lyrics, Google any word you are unfamiliar with. Find the definition. Usually the definition will break it down into simpler words which you can understand
1. Your country
2. When did you see a super car last time?
2. I saw one today actually. Before that, like 2 months ago.
Certainly not common in Finland.
It's Pokemon Go popular in your country?
Yes, but I am too old for this. Too bad it didn't came up 10 years ago.
Anyway, I like the fact that more people get out and actually learn something by exploring those Pokestops, but it makes them more depending on their smartphone.

Not sure if this is the right board for this but I'm expecting to move out soon and figure I'll be living in a small downtown place. What are some good tips for small-space living? As an American my definition of 'small space' is anything below 170 square meters, but for some here that might be a large space. Let me know if you have any advice, I'm welcome to anything.
one thing I've been thinking about is bedding, I've always slept on mattresses but the idea of a Japanese-style futon is appealing since it could be packed up and put away during the day. It seems there's a myriad of futon variations though, can anyone offer advice on how to pick the various pieces and parts, or things to look out for? Also what people usually do with the space (I've seen that a table is usually set up when the bed is away, any good recs on easy-storing tables?) Thanks friends.
Check out that channel. You can probably pick up some tips there.
And I guess you mean 170 square feet...
I'd like 2 semi trailers parked next to each other so the can be merged,
maybe even double semi trailers connected with hallways.

Would an EU army be able to conquer the world?
They would take one step outside of their borders and immediately drop their weapons and apologize for being European imperialist before being lynched by mobs of angry Muslims from both within their country and the country in which they tried to invade
