Have you ever seen a dead body? On the internet doesn't count.
>tfw you get to see live beheadings weekly
i was walking home one evening when i saw a dead body on street
it was a young woman who had jumped off the roof of a tall building
there were a lot of people around and the police covered the body
Saw my father, withered away almost completely white in a hospice bed after lung cancer took his life.
It was weird but I also half expected him to just go "boo" and scare the shit out of me
Sure. My relative died. We weren't that close of a family, still I cried like a girl and hugged his blueish cold body.
Also I've seen drowned body on a beach when I was a child. I didn't care that much, besides police arrived soon and forced me out.
And finally morgue.
Yes, i saw a guy jump to his death inside a multi story shopping center, i looked over the ledge and there was blood everywhere, on the news and everything, it was years and years ago when i was little too, he was being chased by police
It happens frequiently in the countryside, where is no street lights, no crosswalks on the roads and permanent drunk locals. I live in Moscow, so I don't see such things every day, kek.
When I was 12 I was sitting in the car with my mom, my 5 year old cousin and my 8 year old sister and we were waiting for my cousins dad to come pick him up at the harbor (he was out fishing) and the corpse of a man in his 50's came floating in the harbor. My mom called emergency number and then moved the car so my cousin wouldn't see. that's the only time i guess
p.s the man had killed himself by drowning
I saw a guy sliced in two by the tram when I was 8 or nine. He was still alive, making *glargh blurgh bleh* noises and crawling away from the tram. His intestines were trailing his path and one moment he became silent. There was a relief in his eyes when he passed out. I probably will never forget that thick smell of blood, shit and something bitter.
The 3 years later I saw a woman slipped on the sidewalk right under the bus. Her head busted like a watermelon and after that her body shaked for a couple of seconds.
Then one day when I was going to school and got out outside the guy jumped from the roof and hit the ground in 5 meters from me. The cracking sound was intense.
Other day I found a dead junky on a staircase of my home. He was died with a smile. I took his phone and wallet.
One of my friends overdosed with a speed, got all paranoid and also jumped out of window.
That's pretty much all.
Oh, forgot one more. We were riding on the car with my friend in the night when some retards tried to overtake the car in front on them on the right lane. There was a truck with concrete thingies parked there and they got right under it. Instant minus five. Later in the news I heard that they were from 16 to 18 years old.
Explain yourself. He won't need it where he is going.
Only when my grandfather died from Alzheimer's in his sleep. I was young, so i couldn't understand the concept that he was dead and talked to him like he could still hear me.
Pass through a motorbike accident early enough that I could see the uncovered dead body. Nothing special, not dismembered or anything.
When my grandfather died I really did not want to go near the body in the funeral, why the fuck would I.
Guy was ran over by a delivery truck (head was crushed like a pumpkin) a few blocks from where I live. I had the chance to go a different way but I said to myself I better see this kind of thing so I don't panic in the future.
I was once walking through the countryside where I used to live and found a car that someone had gassed themselves in. I thought he might still be alive so I tried smashing open the windows but was too much of a manlet to do so, then I phoned the police.
I just borrowed it and he never asked it back. :^)
And what respect I should show to a dead heroin junky? I should shake his hand and say to him "Thank you for your service, sir! God bless you!"?
Apart from a job at a hospital, I saw a couple:
1 was a girl in my 5th grade class who had brain cancer and died. I went to her funeral which was open casket.
1 was a man who died in a car crash and flew out of his car onto the side of the street where I was walking, he landed on his head and I heard the crack. He was dead instantly.
Anouther was a friend of mine who overdosed on heroine and fell out of his dorm window. He was in a coma for 4 days before he died.
Oh, and an older guy about 95 who lived next to me for years had a stroke and died in front if his house before the ambulance came. I saw his body being taken by a stretcher to the morgue.
That probably was just a Finnish tourist.
Actually, a guy died in my arms few years ago. I was driving behind him when he moved on the opposite lane for some reason and flew out of the windshield after smashing into an oncoming car.
We were pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so it took quite a while before the ambulance came. It was winter and I still remember the image of his mingled body twitching on the snow about a dozen meters off the highway.
I couldn't sleep for weeks.
Yes I have seen my dead grandma
Sometimes if your relative that is dead is close to you, it is customary to kiss them. I kissed her on the forhead. It was cold. Very cold
Yeah my dad was in front of me when they pulled the plug. Also saw the immediate aftermath of a fatal car crash, man lying in the middle of the road, later found out he died pretty much instantly so was dead as fuck when I saw him.
One time i was riding my bike down the street by a forest and there was a skinny white lady laying half in the forest half out the forest but i didnt think much of it because crackheaded homeless people always sleep in that area.
Then when i got home i turned on the local news and they said a body of a raped woman had just been found on the street i was just riding my bike on.
A man raped her killed her and dumped her on the side of the road.
I dont think people do that anymore
Only if it's some famous people I guess there would be there would be some mirologistres (mourners) but other than that funerals are pretty casual
I was 16. I can still feel the kind of bitter taste of her skin.
Last year someone in the upper floors of my building jumped while I was sitting at home browsing the internet. Literally fell past my window, must have died instantly as it looked like he had landed on his head with nasty shit all over the place.
Someone on the street called the police so I just kept browsing.
It's the worst in rural areas though. So far two of my high school classmates have killed themselves, one by gun and another by driving his car against a truck (dick move). It's a running joke for us to hire a guy to work on the farm (not profitable, mostly continue it to keep the view, so pay sucks) and have him kill himself within a year, has happened three times now.
I am almost 19 and only member of my close family who has already died is my grand-grandmother, who died when I was about five so I didn't get to see the body, I only saw the coffin on the funeral.
aside from a few funerals no
my brother left his house one morning a few years back to find some guy impaled on the spiked railings across the street. iirc he was some drunk/junkie who was pushed out of a third story apartment for whatever reason
