>there are a bunch of weeaboos who can afford to move to Japan and you can't even pay rent with your autismbux
if I fail here then my parents would house me and pay for everything as long as I couldn't take care of myself. But if that happened in Japan I would have no other choice but suicide. I'm not NORP enough to create a network of contacts in a foreign country who I could rely on
who fundamentally do no understand and therefore will never have any genuine experiences with the people or culture there
> can afford
no. their parents pay. they earned nothing.
>move to Japan
to work as an ALT at best. most of them fizzle out, have to return home to UK or AUS and work in education the rest of their lives (see: my former co-workers)
> can't even pay rent with your autismbux
>posts on /jp/, makes fun of people with autism
Yeah seriously. Unless you have a love interest already, are a famous personality,a millionaire or you really want to work in Japan I don't see much of a reason to go
I couldn't even rent out a god damn apartment while I was there for 2-3 years. They kept denying me since I was a foreigner.
Great place but it's such a double edged blade
I kind of want to give this guy the whole thing about how I've been living in Japan for years and never faced any discrimination and how the only reason he couldn't get along here is because he's an eop casual normlord and all that but it's kind of getting old. It seems like we have these threads every week now, and yet a new crossie always shows up and makes the same dumb claims. Why can't these people fuck off to /int/?
I don't know why it even gets under my skin when butthurt white people bitch about Japan. Posting in these threads is practically the only thing I do on /jp/ lately since it's become nothing but fucking generals.
Every thread is just 'Japan has xenophobia' which exactly isn't news to anyone.
I'm not even sure where these 'I wanna live in Japan' weebs are even coming from. We seem to have these threads every week now.
That's the thing though, my experience is the exact opposite, so I'm always arguing against the fags who say that Japan is xenophobic.
It's like some percent of white people flying into the country get turned into niggers and warped back to a bizarro Japan that's actually 1950s America. I can't imagine anyone ever denying me some service here because I'm white, it just seems so ridiculous. But there are people who seem to claim it happens regularly.
My only guess is that these people can't speak Japanese very well and/or expect Japan to be "colorblind", and thus they misinterpret all sorts of random things to be racism or xenophobia when they really aren't.
>you will never have a Latte in the Starbucks overlooking Shibuya Crossing.
>female acquaintance went to Japan for a month
>told mum about it
>"You should ask her if you can go with her, Anon!"
mum no stop you don't get it
tfw i would love to go to japan with a girl but i literally see her like once a month
