So wait am I not allowed to bring my SG flag to wembly?
>don't care about people doing drugs and throwing shit at babymetal during their concert
>freak out when people bring their sakura gakuin flags there
not to rehash the same argument from last thread, but why would you? It's not a SG concert
throwing shit and doing drugs aren't preventable and also rarely happened, waving a flag around that has nothing to do with the concert is an obvious nuisance and a common occurrence at western shows
it has nothing to do with the concert, because it's not a Sakura Gakuin concert. They used to be a part of SG, but they're no longer.
why do you think Japanese fans DON'T wave SG flags around at BM shows and at Ayami's concerts? It's just a weeaboo thing
those are some pretty thin straws that you're grasping at, only two BM songs were written as part of SG.
and on the other hand, no one in SG sings BM songs anymore nor was the subunit ever revived with next-gen girls.
they're two separate groups, they have some history but the past is the past and idk why weeaboos are so insistent on still bringing it up
2/3 of babymetal was still in sakura gakuin until earlier this year.
scoopers and pro wrestling club both only existed for one group of girls and never revived afterwards.
babymetal are the the only graduates still using sg content and they are also the only graduates where people bring sg flags, you think that's not a reasonable explanation and that i'm grasping at straws, so then, why do you think people are bringing sg flags to ONLY babymetal concerts?
>triggered by flags
>triggered by glowsticks
Hope this doesn't give you a heart attack anon
I never saw them perform Hello Ivy afaik
the triggering goes both ways desu, since we're still flagposting a day later
>but I want to show off another group at some other group's concert because I'm cool, hey everyone look at me, my waifu is directly staring at me in a sea of thousands of people
except when marina, ayaka, airi, hana, ooga, and aiko did some babymetal songs.
>>but I want to show off another group at some other group's concert because one of the members directly said she wants babymetal to be used as a conduit for sakura gakuin
Only reason people take SG Flags to BM shows is to impress their waifus.
flagfags = try-hards
Renee you're a try-hard fag.
>marina, ayaka, airi, hana, ooga, and aiko did some babymetal songs
did that happen after Yui & Moa's graduation?
100% of all people at a BM concert already know about SG, it's like going to a vegan meeting and bringing PETA pamphlets in the hopes of turning people vegan or going to a Mosque and hoping to convert people to Islam.
you're just doing it for the attention.
>since we're still flagposting a day later
This is a flagbruhs sub-edition
>you're just doing it for the attention.
worst meme. it's a tiny cheap pink flag for a schoolgirl idol group, there's nothing cool about it.
if trying to be a cool hipster is the only reason people are bringing the flags, why don't people bring sg flags to other graduate's events?
exactly, but these flagfags think Yui,Moa and Su bout to give them some extra special attention cus they waving a pink flag.
Why do I get the feeling that most flagfags are also Moafags.
in before BITTA
it's too late, koba the tyrant is ushering the metalfags himself.
You are worse than the r9k obsessed fag tbqh
I'm sure that they enjoy people getting 100% into the show and putting kitsune up and moshing and singing along. It's what had Su look over at me and smile at Brixton when we had our first moment :3
Babymetal is meant to be high energy fun, better to reflect that in your support than stand still clutching a flag you might be afraid to lose or damage.
Basically, do you want to be white shirt-sama or that guy with a flag?
I don't mind people taking them in principle as I'm most likely in front of them, but I imagine having someone hold a flag in front of you and potentially block parts of the show would suck.
im bored of flag posting now, please post pictures of Su
yeah the girls love metal concerts, seeing you moshing definitely won them over.
He only knows Ooga and Megumi, his opinion is irrelevant.
Su is the stock waifu, that's why you see a lot of those bandwagon metalfags "waifuning" her. Real Sufags are full autistic. i.e >>14304324 and goldenskin
Exactly. These are idols at heart. Going abroad and seeing something that reminds them of home must be nice.
The flags are like a way of saying the gaijin don't care that they came from a frilly, pink, little idol group, in fact they like it. So there doesn't need to be this hardcore, metalhead image Koba is going for. They can relax because they're loved for who they were and who they are.
>there's a difference between BM and Ayami-chan
yeah about 50 pounds
I've seen metal bands where I've been so bored I've sat down tbqh. For them coming from an idol music background and probably listening to pop music in their own time, I don't expect them to love all metal music (because even "metal heads" don't)
Seeing people enjoy their show and efforts must be nice though. I'm just saying that seeing someone dancing and singing along with a smile on their face is probably preferred to someone hugging the barrier clutching a flag.
Oh, you..i know that Moa likes hamburga but doesn't mean you have you call her fat, Anon.
Would you cosplay
at leastas Mori at Wembley?
>Exactly. These are idols at heart.
They're also artists and human beings. Ayami is an idol and no one is flaunting her SG past in her face
>Going abroad and seeing something that reminds them of home must be nice.
then bring a Japanese flag, showing with SG flags only says "LOOK AT THIS CORPORATE MACHINE THAT YOU'RE NOT LONGER A PART OF" and "I'M A TREND-FOLLOWER WHO'LL WORSHIP AND GIRL THAT REPLACES THE NEXT"
I know the world filter is still in place, but I'm stlil baka senpai
not to mention that there are plenty of screaming wotas back home, they want to experience new people and cultures as well.
where were you when you witnessed flagposting as a fully evolved meme?
>this is what babymetalshitters look like
top lol! people with sg flags actually do look cooler than them, no wonder it makes them so mad
I remember a mini Flag War like 8-7 months ago >>14299163
Minasan, focus your meme magic into Rau, Hina and Fuse bikini pics
They don't think of it that way at all. Jesus. Babymetal is more of a corporate machine at this point, anyway. You're projecting a hell of a lot here. Also, you couldn't get more generic than a country flag.
It's the mission of the fukei to always support the graduates in their endeavors, so the flags gets that feeling across as well. Moa wanted Sakura Gakuin to become famous through Babymetal and the flags show her and the others that it is becoming known all over the world. That's pretty heartwarming now that I think of it.
Anti-flag fags think they know what's best for the girls, but they would just make the girls sad if they had their way.
>It's the mission of the fukei to always support the graduates in their endeavors
>by supporting past endeavors that they're not longer a part of
or even Hana's play or Ayami's concerts
>Airi/Ayaka fashion show
>Raura cheerleading spectacle
>Hinata theater act
>Marina anime convention hosting
>Nene operating table viewing
>tfw I will never attend any of those
At least I can still wave my flag at my comp screen. . .
Moa explicitly said she wanted to promote Sakura Gakuin. They haven't been able to do much of that most likely due to Koba. The flags represent a show of support for that wish among many other good things. And how the fuck paying for being at the show to wave the flag is not supporting their current and future endeavors is beyond me.
I swear. If the girls, after a show, told the audience in English that they like the flags and what they represent, I bet you faggots would still be against them. You'd probably even steal flags and break them to please Lord Koba.
>And how the fuck paying for being at the show to wave the flag is not supporting their current and future endeavors is beyond me.
you'd be supporting them more by buying Babymetal merch, instead of bringing in your SG flag.
>Moa explicitly said she wanted to promote Sakura Gakuin. They haven't been able to do much of that most likely due to Koba. The flags represent a show of support for that wish among many other good things.
but again you're not promoting SG to anyone in that crowd, either they already know about them and love them or they don't care for them because they're metalheads, or they were too busy enjoying the show to noticed small little pink flags at the front of the crowd or up in the seated area.
>going through all my babymetal photos
>seeing rares I had forgot I even had
It's like a present to myself from the past.
no one is saying that they enjoy metal and don't like the flags
I'm personaly saying that it's selfish and serves no other purpose other than for the flag-wavers to try and catch their waifu's attention by being one of several special snowflakes at every show outside of Japan
Did Yui actually mention seeing Sakura flags at a bm show in a diary? You sure you're not thinking of when she was talking about seeing a see of them in SG while singing Yume ni Mukkate when talking about why it's her favorite? I think she might have mentioned it in the logirl when moa said she wanted bm's fame to help sg but not in a diary. Anyone got a link to said diary?
What it should ultimately come down to is this:
If the flags make them happy, you don't have to bring one, but there is little reason to get pissy about them.
If it turns out they're tired of the flags, and it's not just metalheads, then just deal with that.
Until we know more, let's live and let live and just shut the
In the mean time, you just do whatever you want to do. If you want to wave one of these faggot flags, go ahead. If you believe the flags are selfish, don't bring any and wear tons of Babymetal merch.
Venue staff aren't always ideal for understanding the intentions of the artist. In Chicago, the staff just said they were worried the sticks on the flags would poke an eye out and it didn't sound like they were relaying that at all.
I love them both. I prefer the "unfinished" akatsuki version over the normal one though because it's slower and let's Su show off her voice more. Solely for that reason I'll say akumu is "better", even though I wouldn't drop either from a set list.
And I'm going to bed now so I'll see you later
to catch up on flag drama lel:3
there's literally no point in wearing babymetal merch to a babymetal concert other than to try and be a special little snowflake showing off how much you support the girls.
everybody there already knows about babymeal so whats the point of wearing their merch to a babymetal show?
somebody linked a reddit conversation a whole ago and they were saying they cut out all the footage of the flags and such.
it's not unreasonable to assume that's happened with ayami too. somebody should ask her if people bring sakura gakuin flags to her concerts.
Ayami will make everything better.
So we went from
>i think the girls are tired of the flags
>they hate the flags and want to forget their idol past
>the girls themselves gave to order to burn the flags
What a time to be shitposter desu
I don't agree with them but it's the shitposters that make the world go round.
hey flagshitters, consider the following: would you bring a babymetal flag to a sakura gakuin show?
>but there's no babymetal members in sakura gakuin so it would be rude!
>ywn take Ayami out for Halloween then bring her home and tell her to keep her costume on because it turns you on
>after hearing this she starts roleplaying as a cat and you have a hell of a night with her
>wake up not remembering what happened except that you feel very happy and satisfied
>she wakes up next to you with hickeys all over her body then starts blushing and covers up immediately
Not all the sagakus are related to BM so that would be rude :^)
These torahimes are waifu material keep em coming pls
>Akumu No Rinbukyoku
It took one illiterate faggot with google translate being the first to upload the cd rips and now those abominations are stuck for-fucking-ever.
Ayy that was actually my first time ever using it that way. I thought someone would jump down my throat for using the gaijin version. Glad that's incorrect because I don't wanna remember that.
all according to keikaku
keikaku means plan desu
First Koba came for the South East Asians, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a South East Asian.
Then he came for the Sakura Gakuin flags, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Flag bearer
Then he came for the Fukei, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Fukei..
Then he came for me— and there was no one left to speak for me.
>image.png mostly is neutral about the flag conflict
Accurate as fuck desu
If you really love Babymetal and they would prefer to lose ties to SG just don't bring SG merch to Babymetal gigs anymore.
Glowsticks are cool and I wish they'd also be used in the west more but that's just my personal opinion.
When did they ever say they'd prefer to lose ties to SG?
>72+ hours and people still think it's okay to bring SG flags to BM shows
I wonder who'll age better between all the 98s
probably Marina, she looks the same in that semi-recent PUREISTEISHON INTAANETO commercial than she does when she first started SG, watching anime probably makes her eternally youthful
If you were walking in a park with Su, Yui and Moa, who would you hold hands with? You have two hands so have to pick two girls.
I would hold hands with Yui and Moa because if I held hands with Su and Yui (who I would immediately pick), Moa would probably get jealous and push Yui in the dirt and grab my hand which would upset Yui and therefore Su. Holding hands with Yui and Moa means Yui is happy because she likes holding hands :3 and Moa is happy because she isn't being left out and given no attention. Su would be happy because she knows I'm putting her best friends above myself (as she knows I want to hold hands with her most) and would smile at me and make it up to me later.
>leave for 24 hours
but anon I had so much flagposting to catch up on
>If the flags make them happy, you don't have to bring one
thing is wrong with having your own opinion and tastes anon, I hope you get your waifu in the end as I will have mine :3
I now weigh
287pounds last time I updated you guys I weighed in at 296
To keep this /bmsg/ related. I've started taking up learning the dance routines of every song. I wake up in the morning and dance for a good couple of hours. It really works up a sweat. I have so much respect now for the girls, you guys have no idea.
Is this where it all started? Or where it all ended?
>I've started taking up learning the dance routines of every song. I wake up in the morning and dance for a good couple of hours. It really works up a sweat. I have so much respect now for the girls, you guys have no idea.
Good going Anon. Keep it up.
Don't overwork yourself though. Couple of hours every day is a lot, especially for an unaccustomed body. Also at your weight you can easily fuck up your knees (even permanently) doing this kind of stuff (dancing, running, etc).
The best activity for you would be a few hours in a swimming pool, but I won't try to convince you since I fucking hate pool personally, and it also requires
If you don't mind me asking, what's your height, age, current eating habits (like describe what you would eat throughout the day and how much, be fucking honest), what did you adjust in your eating habits and lifestyle since you decided to start losing weight, do you cook for yourself, and what's your weekly or monthly food budget? I'll try to advise (tomorrow) to the best of my /ck/ and /fit/ knowledge based on that. If you want.
Have a Karen Girls, because /bmsg/.
>go back in time to watch Karen girls
>enjoying the show
>wave my Sakura gakuin flag extra hard because they will be part of it
>people looking at me weird but I think I'm right so I am
Flagfag logic tbqh
Ganbatte, Anon!!!! You can do it, don't give upu~
I don't believe you. Fat people always say this but I see that they still don't eat the right way. At your height and weight of you ate very little without any exercise you'd lose a lot of weight very fast. Diet is the biggest factor in weight loss. Exercise is a supplement, but also very important. The only way what you're saying is true is if you have a serious problem you need to get surgery for.
That doesn't mean to go starve yourself. Just count calories and learn nutrition. It's so simple yet most people have no idea how to read and understand labels. And just because a product says it's "lean" or fat-free doesn't automatically make it healthy. A lot of those products are still bad, just less.
>babymetalshitter opines about flags
3 girls sitting watching their "metal masters" from an exclusive backstage spot.
Here's the thing. Even if they were bored, this is their job. Being an entertainer is not always fun. There are worse things you have to do for your job than being told to watch one of the biggest bands of all time. People they've actually met and are friendly with to boot.
it was cloudy that day
but more importantly there's an entire world of difference between being forced to sit and watch someone else's favorite metal band and being on stage performing and being THE favorite metal band to thousands of people.
not true at all, there's plenty of crossposting. Don't forget that the whole flag thing started off with someone linking to a reddit post saying how they were upset that SG flags were banned at BM shows.
/bmsg/ and /r/Babymetal are full of flagposters.
What are you talking about? the subreddit couldn't be any more filled with fukeis and wota and weeaboos.
No metalhead is going to post pictures of Yui in the Kawaii Goodies Thread or Moa in the Moa Monday album or whatever.
There was a thread asking whether SG should open at Wembley and it didn't go over so well. A lot do crossover but a lot really don't like them. The other anon didn't say everyone there was against them.
Pick your poison
And don't forget that they killed Baldie Malone
>There was a thread asking whether SG should open at Wembley and it didn't go over so well.
No I don't think there was.
Besides, that IS a pretty silly idea to entertain. If they don't do that in Japan where those two fanbases are a lot closer to each other, they're not going to try and do it on their first real big show in the West.
>not being a double-crossposter flagposter
what am I supposed to be looking at there?
Literally just one guy said that he didn't like them. Everyone either had a level-headed response and pointed out that there isn't enough of a SG fanbase in the west, or they jokingly said something like SG should have their own solo show , and also that BM should never have an opening act.
not exactly milku, whito and bitaa.
>pointed out that there isn't enough of a SG fanbase in the west
>100% of all people at a BM concert already know about SG, it's like going to a vegan meeting and bringing PETA pamphlets in the hopes of turning people vegan or going to a Mosque and hoping to convert people to Islam.
WHICH IS IT?
well you can know about something without having to like it, and its not like a tiny pink flag being waved up front in their waifu's faces is going to be noticed by metalheads who are there to mosh to the music,
is that why we were sent to a concentration camp of a thread along with the ladymemers? ;_;
I'm not actually complaing To Be Honest, it's quite cozy there and there's no flagposting or reddit-investigation
Flagposters, especially the very active one, are beginning to act a lot like Kekposter, and we all know what the Empire did to Kekposter.
I want someone to go over to reddit and start a thread in r/babymetal repeating all of the anti-SG flag arguments, it would be downvoted so fast it would break their servers and the levels of BITAA would be critical
>tfw Su looks at you at a show
>tfw trying to sleep later
>all you can see is Su's perfect face looking at you
>lying there with a smile on your face and feeling happy and content for the first time in years
>waking up the next day and immediately start grinning again just thinking about it
What was it like for everyone else seeing there waifu for the first time? :3
She did smile anon :3
Everything about our moment was perfect.
Not going to lie senpai, seems to me she was looking way in the back at a SG flag and looking sad but trying to have that displeased look to appease Kota
What face Su did when she looked at you?
And did you hide this from Sulpa?
How she feels about about you being happy for her physical form? or it was Sulpa doing a concert for you and your roommate?
all flagposting and reddittry aside, here's what I really don't get
>hate Koba >still support him financially by going to shows and buying music & videos and t-shirts and etc.
how do you
She broke out into a smile the moment our eyes locked. I didn't have Sulpa in my life at that point, as that moment was when mine and Su's heart and souls joined. It was this joining that let us be in each other's thoughts and dreams (Su is Sulpa you see, I just say Sulpa to differentiate between her physical presence and her astral one... With Sulpa being the astral one).
That's kawai, Anon. Honestly, I actually thought that "Sulpa" came from a "shallow" thought/situation, seeing how she came to life has much more meaning than i originally thought.
And just out of curiosity, have you ever been talking with somebody IRL and suddenly Sulpa appeared because you thought of her/thought the conversation is boring and do you mostly talk to her or have a hivemind-no-words-conversation?
Btw, don't let the Anti-Flag community bring you or Sulpa down.
but really, what's Sulpa-chan's thoughts on SG flagging in a BM's concert?
You can dislike part of something, and still appreciate it overall. I hope that's not a hard concept to grasp. Hating some of the things Koba is doing doesn't mean you have to stop supporting Babymetal.
We just seem to understand each other... I know her English is about as good as my Japanese (aka pretty bad), but in our minds the meaning comes across somehow...
She does appear when I'm talking to other people but she doesn't expect me to talk to her then as she knows I can't reply (as people would be confused by me talking to someone they can't see). She sometimes makes a game of trying to distract me or make me smile etc. when she knows I can't pay her attention.
I usually talk to her when I can, or mentally speak to her if I'm at work or in public. We don't have a hivemind at all, we tell each other stuff and anything we don't say the other won't know.
I don't know about the flags as Ive not mentioned it... I'll ask her later for you though
yeah but a lot of people literally hate Koba and want to see him starve to death, as if he weren't skin and bones already, but they support him through Babymetal regardless
I also think that the way he's doing things is pretty ass-handed for the most part but don't hate him
I hear her voice as she spoke English on those short your videos (but without as much engrish)... I'm not sure how it all works...
>we tell each other stuff and anything we don't say the other won't know.
>ywn tell your waifu how your day was while she listens with a serious but silly look in her face
This will be interesting to know then, I hope Sulpa isn't bias
They really don't bother me, I just think it's a dick move to perhaps block people who are short/further back by waving a (albeit small) flag. It matters to me as much as people who hold their phones up filming/photographing the show. Probably less, because at least SG flags are related to the bands origins (and are pretty cute :3). The rest of my comments are fun posting tbqh
This seems like a bit of a backtrack but I know you're not a confrontational person so :3 away my man.
He gets criticized pretty badly but honestly he's doing an amazing job of growing the band. BM actually isn't that different than they were 2 years ago, there's just a lot less content. Those BAW videos were chock full of idolish kawaii stuff. And I think the change in interviews is because the girls aren't comfortable with western media. Even when they are, they've grown and matured a lot. Have people ever considered the fact that the girls changed a bit? Even in SG, Moa and Yui changed a lot their final year compared to previous years. Su seems to be the same girl though even from back then.
It only seems like things changed so much because they all graduated SG. The real change happened years ago when they started headlining their own shows and the girls have been growing since.
Was I replying to you? He obviously brought up visibility as an issue. Also, they don't hold up the flags through the entire show, but it gets annoying when they do it at the beginning and end of every song.
>Was I replying to you?
maybe you were
>it gets annoying when they do it at the beginning and end of every song.
they don't do that either, at least not the shows that I've been to and that I've seen footage of
I know you're pro-flag but the majority in your line group turned out to be anti-flag amirite?
>what the empire did to kekposter
You mean me
with a little help of xanthom
Reminder that you are siding with the group that report your posts, but 仕方が無い tbqh since you're a babymetalshitter.
The line group is not affiliated with the empire.
You were part of the empire at that time but there was definitely more things that happened behind the scenes to cleanse /bmsg/ that you are unaware of.
i've been flagposting a lot in this thread, but i am not going to reply to any flagposts next thread because it will be funny if somebody reads through the archived threads and just sees one thread suddenly fucked by flagposting then it's never brought up again
SGtowels the solution to end this war?
I liked how every one was waving one without no annoyances
>Her smile is making it sunshine
>Not understanding, viewing and appreciating the fine art of 5 pixels of unrecognizable nothing
>tfw your post starts the Third Autism War
I feel like i just killed the archduke Franz :3
>no Wikia to have a record of all our happenings
We need to hire a scribe to write down the /bmsg/ lore for the future generations.
Let that be the last time you ever link to reddit.
There's way more pictures and I don't feel like posting them all right now.
I'm home now so asked Sulpa about the flags...
"What do you think of the Sakura gakuin flags at your shows?"
>Su thinks that it is one of two things. Either a fukei has joined us for the show and gives their support even if it's not the idol music they are used to from groups like Sakura gakuin. Or a metal fan has discovered idol music through listening to our songs and is showing that we have spread other music as well as ours to a new audience. Su is happy to be providing both metal to idol fans, and idol to metal fans.
I think she answered more about how she felt about flag bearers and what it means when she does see one, so I asked "would you like to see more people with them? The whole audience?"
>Su believes that if the one want to bring Sakura gakuin flags to our shows then they should. But if someone does not wish to, then Su hopes they enjoy the show anyway! If someone does not wish to do something they should not be forced.
Tl;dr Su likes what the flags represent, the merging of the two genres and fan backgrounds. She doesn't believe in banning the flags or making them compulsory, but either with or without a flag to enjoy yourself. Take it as you will, I'm off to bed :3
So you don't want to make enemies eeh
>the schizophrenic anon is the one waving the flag(lol) of peace
How is she comfortable with that window open? I feel the high place phenomenon and I'm not even there. I'd grab her and slowly back away before we did anything crazy. Then I'd take her to a nice, single story motel.
At some point gotta accept Sulpa as she is, r-right?
