seems these days no one is joining the military anymore with the intentions of fighting for their country. .
There will always be stupid people to volunteer for the military anon.
What is /k/'s next purchase?
Stupid, pointless, overprices. But I like it
Just got a mk23.. I got my eyes set on five seven next equally useless but equally wang
How do you like the feel of it compared to a Five seven? I am a slight FN fanboy but holy fuck do I hate the way the five seven feels. Feels like cheap, shitty polymer. Great shooting guns but I just hated the feel
So, why hasn't anyone tried to set a "universal" standard for pistol mags, sort of like STANAG, so that every fucking pistol, even ones from the same manufacturer, doesn't need its own unique magazines?
Is it just greed, or is there a mechanical reason *?
*I'm obviously talking about stuff that use conventional mechanisms, not things like that pistol that pulls the bullets out of the mag from the rear.
If you are required by law to have your guns locked in a safe, or have trigger locks installed on them, then how will you be able to access them fast enough when it only takes a rapist the same amount of time to enter your home and find you as it did to read this question?
It's like the government wants you to be raped.
between 80 and 90% of rapes are in fact committed by someone the victim already knows.
the percentage of rapes by people "entering your home" is utterly dwarfed by those by an existing partner, an ex, or other associate.
What does /k/ think of Generation Kill?
Theoretically, how hard would it be to reactivate a Sten trophy with the barrel assembly welded shut.
Hey /k/. I am gonna go to a range and I need tips on range etiquette. Can you guys make me look like something other than a total retard?
Don't be retarded and you'll be good.
Ask yourself if what you're doing is retarded
Stop doing it
I hope this has been helpful and remember have fun and be safe.
It's considered good luck to pelt the shooter to your right with hot brass out of your beat-to-hell wasr. Also everyone will be very appreciative if collect their brass while they're shooting and take it home with you, so you have a way to remember your first time.
I've decided to put together a bug out bag and need some advice as to which type of combat knife I should buy.
I've been reading some reviews online but I figure you guys know more on the topic, alot of reviewers tend to be idiots.
Im looking for a fixed blade obviously, the longer the better. I've been looking at ka-bars, gerbers, and columbia rivers but there are also many other brands and I dont know where to begin.
Price maximum I'd say 150$.
If you guys can help, its much appreciated.
Combat knives are for fags and autists with some spare money
Most real knife fights are quick and it's all stabbing.
Even "operators" employ the x-treme ancient tacticool technique of stabbing their enemies to death as quick as they can.
You can get a china 5$ dagger that's no longer than 6 inches(I'd say 4 or 5 but whatever) that's a perfectly fine "combat" knife.
Everything else is consumerism.
New acquisition. Bersa Firestorm .380 acp. Thoughts /k/?
Master race report in!
Lol... Glocks.. have fun shooting your dick off with that "safety"
Anyone go to the Knoxville Gun Show today? Any finds? Any stories? Anyone else drunk on a Sunday night?
Gun Show Thread
I haven't regretting going to a gun show in probably a decade or so. They usually cost like $5 or so to get in and that's usually all the money I ever feel like spending at one. Aside from some jerky from some old hillbilly every now and then.
why not magazine fed shotguns for standard issue? mass fire capacity, less than lethal, ever reusable shells, incendiary, flechettes, among many other reasons.
Prove to me that r.i.p. ammo isn't the best ammo on the market
What're you carrying currently?
I'm looking to find an apprenticeship to a local gunsmith. Besides common fucking courtesy, what would help me convince them I'm worth the time? And is there anything I would need beforehand, IE paperwork/driver's license/etc, presuming this is in South Carolina?
> Pic unrelated.
