Are the Zero Tolerance knives worth of buying or they're just a mall ninja jewelry?
I like mine quite a bit. I've been carrying it for over a year now and it's been good to me. It's sturdy, and keeps an edge. Is it worth the price? I guess only time will tell. But for now I have no regrets buying it.
Pic related is mine.
I give up. I can't carry appendix. No matter how hard I try, I can't. Spent over $500 in holsters and belts trying to conceal my Shield and I just can't do it. Every holster I tried fails its job and just sticks out and prints. Every belt just makes bulk and makes printing worse. I'm tired of waiting. Waiting for a new holster to come in, waiting for a new belt to be made. I'm tired. I'm going to sell everything for a loss. I haven't carried a gun in two weeks because I'm just tired.
.357 Mag or .45 ACP
Why hasn't it been replaced yet?
Because its a good weapon.
Everyone who complains about it is some sort of a cunt who either can't own one, yet a lone shoot one. Or can shoot one, but either is a fat REMF, or shit at shooting so ends up being given a different weapon.
What's /k/'s opinion on them?
Also, would it be a good substitute when guns are banned in your country?
For the money, they are pretty amazing.
Most are accurate to 50 yards and can do incredible damage with a broadhead. A body hit with a broadhead is almost always going to result in a fatal wound.
Can anons recommend a good cheap crossbow to give to girlfriend for her birthday? What do I look for in a crossbow, if I want it to feel sturdy and tough? Any specific brands? I'll be buying it in Russia, any caveats?
Don't have enough information to tell. The fact that the video starts with the officer already with a long gun in hand suggests there's important context regarding the call he was responding to that we don't have.
Why is it deemed necessary to put like 5 rounds into someone's chest if they are carrying a knife, I'd understand if he had a gun or was running towards the officer. Even still Police in the Uk have managed to effectively disable offenders carrying knives through either non-fatal shots or non-fatal devices such as the taser.
>Just realised this is /k/
If it was a callout to a potentially dangerous individual why is there only one officer
What is the minimum acceptable caliber for one of these fuckers
ITT: We write a Hickok45 episode, one sentence at a time. I'll start:
>Hey everyone, hickok45 here.
Does having lots of muscle mass help you survive gunshot wounds?
Anyone else carry a secondary or even a tertiary? With colder weather it's a lot easier, but generally I carry 2-3
>bought a nugget
>read online "dude just dont be a pussy lmao"
>"dude u wont develop a flinch lmao"
>d-dont be a pussy
>shoot it some more
>having to compensate for recoil more and more
>go to shoot my .22 a week later

I used to be a wimp before my mosin nagant...
do you feel drunk with power when in the possession of a firearm?
Having a gun makes me feel more responsible since i am in the possession of considerable power. When you realize how easily you could just start killing people it makes you less prone to rashness and more measured in your temperament.
What does /k/ think about refinishing vintage arms in a way that isn't very bubba?
I was thinking about get a yugo mauser and parkerizing the bolt and refinishing the wood in a different way.
Any /k/ommandos here in the not so great state of Washington? If so, west or east side?

Open wide, America.
Here comes the aeroplane!
Can you own a combat ready M1A2 Abrams tank?
Whenever they pawn an Abrams off (which happens once in a decade or so), they make sure to demill the gun: it's not impossible to repair and easy enough to register as a DD, but you're going to be spending a pretty penny fixing a gun which you probably won't be able to supply.
What does /k/ think of Skallagrim?
I can't seem to find any information regarding where on draws the line between a battle rifle and a light machine gun. From my understanding, a battle rifle is basically an automatic weapon that uses a full sized rifle cartridge. An LMG, for instance the Breda 30, is also an automatic weapon using a full sized rifle round. Where does on draw the line?
Pic unrelated, I like ugly and impractical guns.
afaik, battle rifles are primarily designed around controlled mid range fire with a main focus on semi auto accuracy, lmgs are designed around prolonged full auto firing with main focus on volume of fire
Light/Medium machine gun (GPMG)/ Heavy machine gun separated by cartridge size. They are usually crew served with at the least a gunner and assistant gunner. The intent is suppression by volume of fire.
A battle rifle, automatic rifle, or LSW, are used by an individual operator. The tactics on how they're employed (DMR, automatic rifle) usually depend on the particular country's doctrine. Most weapons selected for military service are chosen because they fill a particular role in said doctrine.
Daily reminder That guns don't kill people, death kills people. Ask a doctor, it's a medical fact. You can't die from a bullet. You can die from a cardiac arrest or organ failure or a major hemorrhage but a small piece of metal ain't the problem. Besides, I only use my machine-gun in the safety of my own home and car. I ain't hurting nobody.
Would this be good? What if you had one of the few magazine fed shotguns with high capacity? Would the faster follow up shots due to lower recoil have any advantage over the 12g?
Also what are "slug guns" for? I saw a 20 gauge one with a scope on it, are they just for deer hunting?
20 gauge is more than powerful enough for stopping attackers. People aren't that tough to kill.
There are military units that issue twenty gauge shotguns for breaching because they are staffed with markets.
>Chile, I'm looking at you.
Hey folks, I'm new to guns and gun lingo. Please tell me, what are all the phrases an operator needs to know
Alright /k/ I'm innawoods in appalachia tonight. Currently sitting with my back to a rock face with a small fire in an old oil drum I found. I keep hearing what sounds like something walking and breaking sticks also hearing what sounds like moans and whispers. I'm almost sure it's not an animal as I've called and made noise to no avail. I only have my M&P with me and I'll be here to morning.
Pics and Discussion plZZzzzzz
>What's average for a preban?
$2500+ for an HK91. $1200-2000 for an HK-licensed clone like the Greek EBO SAR3/8 or Portuguese INDEP G3S. Don't even ask about HK41s or the semi G3s.
What's the best pistol/bullet for punching through car glass accurately?
Need help with AMD 65 I bought at a gunshow. It seems to have a single stack bolt and won't accept a normal bolt. Do I need to replace the front trunnion or does the AMD 65 use a unique bolt?
