To Vetetans of war, what do you think of FPS games and its portrayal of war? Do any of you play FPS games?
How comfy are modern subs inside?
I don't think any sub has ever reached the comfiness level of Typhoons.
Sup lads? So I'm going to make my first knife and I would like your opinion about what would be the easier steel to heat treat? I know that O1 is fairly easy to work with it, so that's my choice for now, what do you guys think? Thanks
Why would you ask this kind of a question here?
The majority of knife posters on this board neither use nor sharpen their knives, much less knowing the slightest thing about metallurgy or knife making.
Go ask on HypeFreeBlades and the makers sections of BladeForums if you want any useful advice.
>Why would you ask this kind of a question here?
Because I can. freeshrugs.jpeg
Is there anything more awesome than a combination gun?
Kaiser blade suitability for self defense. Some folks call it a sling blade. Available at Home Depot.
Which grenade launcher configuration is the best?

Is this a good buy for $300? Anyone have an SP101?
>bit bulky for what it is, but pretty much invincible.
PERHAPS THE SAME COULD BE SAID OF ALL RUGER WHEELGUNS
I need help identifying this weapon, it appears to be similar to the style of the Automatic Rifle fifth teen but it looks more advanced???
What on earth are you talking about L.S?
whoever dis guy is he looks like he is made of cheese haha
Molot Arms, Russia, developed the civil version of the VSS Vintorez. Now you can cheeki breeki IRL, stalker.
Only in Russia, thanks to sanctions.
Say I set off a row of nukes across a mountain valley. Say the valley is 20 miles across and I set off three nukes in a line across it such that they're evenly spread to get maximum coverage along that line.
How long would that valley be impassable for human beings? Would it be impassable at all, if you just didn't care about having cancer in 5 years?
20 miles would be nothing for modern NBC gear. Any army would be able to cross unimpeded.
If you're talking about area denial for non-military purposes, you're retarded to bring nukes into it at all.
Most nuclear weapons aren't designed to leave radiation for more than a week, because longer than that is impractical and overly dangerous. The reason sites like cheenobyl are still hot is because it's a different kind of radioctive element in use, because a bomb is a lot of energy being released all at once, but a power plant is energy being released over decades
If I'm a father with a disabled child, what's the best way to protect myself and him/her?
Hold a pillow over its face while it sleeps. You'll be protecting it from a lifetime of abuse, self loathing and well-founded feelings of inadequacy. Its the merciful thing to do.
As for yourself, you cant go wrong with a Glock or M&P.
I went back in time and killed Stoner. And I burned Armalite to the fucking ground.
The M16 is never adopted.
BTFO Air Force.
1965. The HK-33 is adopted by the the US Army as the M33.
The rifle preforms fantastic.

How do you stop future Russian supersoldiers?
Why did he buy this gun? Any insights /k/?
I dare you to say something positive about the Mosin-Nagant.
Nightmare Mode: Without mentioning price, whether of the rifle itself or ammo.
Mosin a cute
Where were you when a hi-point was confirmed more reliable that a p226 legion and the m&p 9
Why do you suppose the vast majority of pistol owners stop improving their gun before it can reach its maximum potential?
I have a question I cannot sufficiently answer with google.
Is there electrical ignition of firearm rounds? What kind of systems are there, if yes? Do they work with normal munitions?
Thanks for any answers.
>Is there electrical ignition of firearm rounds?
>What kind of systems are there, if yes?
Commercially? Remington EtronX, but it's dead
A bunch of military autocannons and stuff as well.
>Do they work with normal munitions?
mostly things like autocannons 30mm 25mm etc.
i think a few companies tried civilian hunting rifles with electric ignition but they failed.
how the autocannon setup works i don't remember. hopefully someone has diagrams
Why do people wear this? all of the iraqistan vets i know say they find this extremely cringy
especially the bad translations
>to protest the islamification of their country and culture.
the only people i see wearing/buying this are americans

Hello everyone on this fine board.
I currently live in Europe and have already taken all the steps necessary to be able to shoot and own (semi-auto) guns.
Here is my question:
What should I choose between
-CZ scorpion evo 3 (9mm) (1500 euros)
-Luvo LA-15, 10,5 inch (.223) (1200 euros)
-Colt AR-15 expanse 16 inch (.223) (1100 euros)
Are SBR's obsolete for home defense? Is .223 worth it knowing that the ammo is 3 times more expensive than 9 mm?
Thanks for your help.
Is this rifle solely for HD? Or fun and HD?
10.5 inch ar would be good for home defense. SBRs make great HD guns, the problem being you might lose it permanently if you actually kill someone with it.
If it's for fun then I would go with the evo personally but I like them. What other guns do you own?
Since the use of these weapons in my country is only recreational (strict rules about how and where to store them), it would also mainly be for fun.
I do not own any guns yet (it can take up to 4 month before my file gets processed). Next to a shoulder firing weapon, I was thinking about buying a CZ P07 since it's 200 euros cheaper than a Glock 19, and I prefer the trigger over the one in the Glock 19.
I would say 9mm over .223. Higher availability, cheaper, and smaller and cheaper mags and guns.
I have a bias towards CZ, mostly because they are europeans and have the best bang for the bucks.
There is also licensed copies of the MP5 for relatively cheap, and Kel-tec is making some pretty honorable stuff.
I'm assuming the range a civ like me is going to engage in Europe are street-to-street at most, and mostly room to room. For the country-side a scoped bolt-action would be best. So, I would...

could any armyfags tell me how realistic you find arma?
It's very realistic. The small unit tactics, mechanics of weapons and equipment, and scale are very similar to actual operations in the real world.
The lack of a suck mechanic in the game is unrealistic. Not drinking water and eating food in huge ass movements like that isn't accurate.
You want a realistic army man simulator? Try this. A good old game of Emu bob.

I fucking hate those ads

>So edgy look at how futuristic it is

>Some family/grandma is going to blow their money on this thinking it's going to do anything but catch fire and burn down their house
So i live in Australia and as you probably know butterfly knifes are illegal and i have had a trainer for about 3 years does anyone know how to obtain the real thing?
I've heard you can buy the "kit" to make it, disassembled parts
also i would try pawn shops and small shitty gas stations or something like that, maybe army stores, also the internet
also have someone in another country get one and mail it to you
also I would try to order the best one online to sharpen a blade into, one with a point and good metal
I'm worried about having to expand my current caliber footprint past my current 5.56/.223 + 9mm
Are the ballistics of a .223/5.56 bolt-gun good enough to justify buying one for precision use?
No. .223/5.56 are effective out to 400 yards. Sure, you can hit something at 500 yards, but you won't hit it with a lot of force.
If you're going to get a bolt gun, get a .30/06, or .308 if you want to trade cheaper ammo for a little less range
Which artillery is this?
Google reverse search doesn't give anything.
Hello. Don't mind me. I'm gonna dump pics taken of my visit to the Submarine Museum in Melaka, Malaysia. This Museum houses an intact Agosta Class Submarine, an A-4 Skyhawk and F-5E Tiger II.
Visitors are allowed to enter the submarine. It looks big from the outside but I don't know how 51 people can live for months inside a space that is only slightly bigger than inside two long bus.
I had only a camera phone and I take autistic pics that might only interest fellow /k/ autists. There's about 50 pics so bear with me due to the post timer.
/k/'s opinion on Larry Vickers?
A tub of opinions and self-hype that used to be a soldier, who pines desperately for the days when everything didn't hurt and he could do more than 'stagger with intent' and people actually respected him.
'gang' - fuckin triggered.
he strikes me as an arrogant POS. The way he treats others around him makes me routinely wonder how they put up with his shit, but hey, he seems to know what he is doing. Also, i think he has a rather high chance of showing of kraut space magic some time soon. I'm waiting for that.
Where do you think China's nukes are pointed at? Like what percentage of them?
