What would Britian have to do to resist a full scale US invasion?
It's 2016, why don't you own a Makarov yet?
Because its a cheap piece of slavshit
Vz.61 Skorpion for HD.
Retarded idea or no? I like the gun a lot, I just don't know much about .32 ACP. But my place has thin walls and not a lot of maneuvering room, so the compactness appeals as well.
Wasn't it extremely popular in Europe for police and military guns? Can't be all bad, especially with the right ammo. Heck, aren't a bunch of CC pistols chambered in it
I use a Tok right now, and I was looking as a cheap pump, but the layout and small space makes it a pain for a shotgun.
Of course, the odds of me needing an HD gun are crazy low, but rather have it than need it, etc.
Can you set me straight on stolen valor? If I want to wear combat boots, cammies, skivvy shirts, PT clothes, shirts with branch logos on them, wear dog tags and regulation haircuts etc. only for fashion and because I like the look, and not to obtain discounts or pretend I'm a service member, is there anything legally wrong with that? Can I tell off any servicemen that scream"muh valor" at me even though I'm wearing it just for fun?
I know I'm a little bit late, but any Texans here open carrying now that it's legal? I've gone out a few times already (pic related) but being that it's cold lately I have a sweater that covers it.
What setup are you using? Will you open carry at all or stay concealed? interested to see Texas' /k/ opinion.
Also, general open carry thread.
I'm looking for a bolt action rifle in .308, as I would like to go elk hunting in the future, but I have some questions. What does /k/ recommend for under $500? I was thinking a ruger american, or a used remington 700, but am open to suggestions. Also, can I use 7.62 nato in a .308 rifle? I have heard differing opinions on this, but no facts or sources to back it up.
So these guys that do military archaeology unearthed this thing on a WWI/WWII location in Romania and have no idea what it is. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Apparently it still has some Feldgrau marks on it so it's most likely a military artifact. I can post more pics if needed. A guy assumed it could be from a telephone switchboard but i'm not certain.
A rather curious question has come up when I was discussing the Pacific Theater with a few of my friends. What if Roosevelt went with Nimitz plans to invade Formosa and not the Philippines? Was Nimitz's plan to bypass the Philippines a better strategy in the long run? Or did MacArthur actually have the better idea, even if it was mostly fueled by revenge and glory?
That late in the war any land invasion was fucking retarded.
The IJN was already blown the fuck out and we just needed a few groups to hunt down the remnants and the main fleet to blockade Japan while we bombed them to shit from Iwo Jima.
Japan would have accepted peace at any point
All the tens of thousands dying in island hopping campaigns died for nothing
But ofc, muh death march! While ignoring that the US officers deliberately put the japs in the situation where they had to "death march" POWs back to their supply bases.
Are US Marines in real life really this moronic?
I mean they are just people, and like 90% of people are generally idiots. Sometimes I wonder if like john Moses browning or Isaac Newton just thought "wow you guys are fucking retards"
Since we're heavily on topic of this today, I wanna see your bids for totally God-tier channels.
My vote goes to
Ignore and let thread 404 if we're sick of YouTube talk
I've seen these "V Light" style lights around and they seem neat. But what I don't get is why I see so many helmets with lights in multiple locations and colors. What's the point? Is it all just cool guy lighting or does it serve a purpus? The rear green and red reminds me of port and starboard.
They are sold as "an alternative to chem lights".
I think they are geared more toward training and shit. Also most the ones I see are on the rear of the helm.
So how the fuck would modern militaries even kill this thing? Immune to nukes, immune to anything short of mecha-tier weaponry, what could be done?
immune to nukes? nope there is no such thing.
at point blank range nukes simple ionize and eliminate any material with the gamma rays in a 30 meter radius nothing will remain standing.
/k/ somehow I got this little pit on the slide of my glock, I dont know how it got there, its not big at all and you can barely notice it, but when I did it drove me cray. Has anyone else seen something like this on theirs? Im thinking about getting a brand new slide
ITT we discuss weapons related junk mail that we get.
pic related, just came in today.
Can someone identify this gun or what the green gas is?
Supposedly a picture taken in china or something
