Continuing the outer heaven general thread.
Will be posting doc links soon. Join up. Got some gun porn to get us started.
Bumping again, same gun, links for joining up included.

Wel/k/ome aboard, m8s.
I tried like 10 years ago and I just didnt feel anything special about it.
Honestly I was kinda bored by it.
I do like these sealand fantasy threads though.
Here's a pic from the Project Europa thread for those that remember it. As well as some things we researched in the previous month's threads.
Also, unfortunately do to international law each nation owns the waters 3 miles from the shore, this is referred to in the past as the distance at which a cannon fired from sea can hit.
This has since been updated to a 200 mile "Exclusive Economic Zone" designed to protect each nation's fishing rights. Therefore all assets within 200 miles of a nation's coast are considered to belong to that nation.
Unfortunately this includes Sealand after the United Kingdom adopted this new model. Originally Sealand was just a few miles past the limit but is now included within it.
In addition according to the new International Sea Treaty, "man made" islands (such as Sealand) cannot achieve status as a sovereign nation.
Do you really think everybody on /k/ could live in a 1km room? Also, what about hierarchy?
>regarding hierarchy: we worship big boss and write gospels around the twin snakes. We then select somebody to be the grand priest of the patriots who will give us the blessings and knowledge of John, our lord and saviour
Hey Ruby. I loved 3 except for when Ocelot puts a 9x18 in a single action... that made no sense. I wish they would make a live action version of 3 though. Its what I want the James Bond movies to be.
A neat concept, but militarized NGOs tend to be frowned upon in this day in age.

Its hard to get anything like this to not turn to a political force with guns. The reason special forces units and merc groups work great is because they are either specific government backed or government funded. If you have a group that answered to no one and had no political ties they could start their own political force and force their ideology at the muzzle of a gun. Interesting concept, I don't really see it working well though.
The round fits too snugly. You could probably pound it down in but it would not work well.
I dont know if he did or not but I did see him wrapping rounds in tape and jamming them in then firing them so it wouldnt have surprised me.
I swear to god the man hates his fingers.
He shot a 7.62x39 from his 1911 to prove a point he was arguing with someone over from a movie.
You boys get the Island. I'll get the PBY full of PBR
it's called the devil dog. Something we might want to try making if we wanted to do a production facility. to the best of my knowledge the hammer slams against the center of that spark plug looking bit, and the center of that is a spring loaded firing pin. But that's purely guess work. more pictures.
The main issue is infrastructure.
How do we survive?
Whats our main source of food going to be?
How do we make an income?
What is our main export going to be?
How many people would actually come?
Requirements for coming etc
>Chengavok got a hold of a local nationals corpse ag-
>Ye he keeps going on about how he'll find the real 'sweet spot' and that head shots are for pussies.
>DAMN IT DOCTORRRRRRRRRRRRRR
All very good questions that we are in the process of tackling, but I'll try to address them as best I can.
1.) Eating, sleeping, drinking, pretty much the same as here, only somewhere else, hopefully nicer.
2.) We're looking into aqua/hydroponics, fishing, farming, etc. This will ultimately depend on location.
3.) Our currency will most likely be generated from selling our services as PMC, production of unique/collector/high quality one offs.
4.) Ammunition, skillsets, firearms. As stated above.
5.) As many as would be interested. This number will play a huge role in location selection.
6.) In progress. I don't want to touch that one yet.
From a logistical point of view, even talking about farming is eons ahead of acquiring an island.
There's only really two ways to get said island. We either have to actually buy one, or we need to take one and make the United States or some other large political body acknowledge our sovereignty.
If we're doing plan A, we need to figure out how we're raising that much money, and where we're purchasing.
If plan B, we need to figure out some nebulous land held by a similarly nebulous government, and construct a reason for the US to want us to settle there. A thought off the top of my head would be a Mexican island off the coast, and claim we're peacekeeping militia. Mexico would hate it but probably not devote any resources to removing us, and we would have to beseech the US for support. Long term support turns into sovereignty a lot easier than you would imagine.
I have faith that we will come together and make this into a reality gents. I really hope that day will come.
What rifle is that in OP's pic and follow up post? It looks super cool.
Also if someone could answer this question in 15 mins I would owe them a beer, I am about to go to bed and if I don't get the answer soon I likely never will.
Hey bro, it's called the Devil Dog. I have a folder of pictures of it. Including this one, with the name visible.
1. Where does our food come from friend Anon? Are we going to be a banana republic? "Brothers Without Borders Triple Distilled Ivanavov Vodka" "Brothers Without Borders Fine Grain Tobacco!"
2. Fair enough
3. For that to be viable we will need a stellar reputation, not only that if we choose contracts poorly and people actually start dying I think a lot of people will just say "fuck this" and leave.
4. You want to produce arms and ammunition but where will the base ingredients come from? The craftsmen? Do you have a few thousand kilos of metal chilling in your back pocket?
5. A lot of people would be interested once the base started becoming operational.
6. I feel you should get this under raps first. If a lot of low-quality people rock up thinking this whole idea is just an excuse to live lawlessly then expect to get knocked the fuck out by the first country that notices our shenanigans. As well as internal power struggles
You just got drafted.
>How do we survive?
>Whats our main source of food going to be?
>What is our main export going to be?
>How many people would actually come?
Enough for a band of pirates.
>Requirements for coming?
>How do we make an income?
Its entirely custom and 1 of a kind made by some dude on homegunsmith for his son.
I say this because, if it's the second option, it's really easy to get started. We could get started within the month, we just need backpackers willing to camp out on whatever island we have scouted. Depending on how often that island is interacted with, we could get a huge start on developing it.
Thats a sure-fire way for us to get killed.
I like the squatting Idea. If we choose something remote enough/deserted enough BUT has enough strategic value we could offer up a part of the land as a military base to one of the world powers, gaining their support etc
Exactly. Basically, no one has the time to really deal with us... thirty guys camping on an island claiming to be a militia isn't worth any attention or resources.
Once we are to the point we garner attention, we just need to have a reason to be there. In my example, we're just a militia on Mexico's soil. Which is sheisty, but Mexico won't send in helicopters. Then with time... say, several years, the situation is still the same but our island is developed. It's technically still Mexico's, but is it really? We export goods and say we're a sovereign nation. We control that land, and we can garner support from the US by letting them use it as a camp or something, or sending them information.
>not establishing a nation of buttbanging, ass selling pirates who rob the rich to buy guns dragon dildos and drugs
Have a kitten you extra weepy vagina person.
So you say. Piracy takes many forms. You don't have to steal to be a Pirate. You can destroy. I want to be sanctioned by a government to bomb shipping.
If you've seen Stardust you know what I want to be.
I mean I love our sovereign but...like not that much.
Okay and also, what kind of land area would you say this would have to be. Honestly, since I really have nothing to do, have been looking at a few islands (will stop if you guys want me to, I know there's people on the roster with the task already) biggest I've seen so far is only like 200 acres, but I'll look for a little bit if I can.
Outer Heaven is pretty rad, I'm hyped as fuck for TPP.
hey farmguy, join the team. We have actually mentioned it a few times in the chatroom.
You got reverse trapped by a woman dressed as David Bowie?
I....have a new fetish
Goddamn it my whore girlfriend is way into country shit and doesnt like Bowie.
You think anyone here is capable of banking much less the kind that goes into that sort of thing?
Last bump of the night for me:
Sign up, and join the search for Home.
Yes I did. And I loved it. She was dressed as the Goblin King version. That was a great party. This is her.
So I've been watching this thread since it started yesterday and I'm totally on board with this idea 100% .so here's my two cents, everyone in these threads have been discussing either islands or oil rigs, I suggest you think about either a cruise ship or a cargo ship both of these options address allot the the problems with the other two
1) space: these things are massive, three mobile cities capable of housings 1000's of people and all the infrastructure needed to have a comfortable living and still have space for training
2) matenice, not only are Their 1000's of ports were we could resupply on fuel, food, and fresh water, but it would be easy to maintain and repair with either a paid crew or minimum training
3)amenities, with built in water storage and treatment, power generators, plumbing, kitchen, infirmary, and comms station it has everything we need built in
4)mobility, one of the most visible pros of theses shops if the fact that they could sail to anywhere in the world were their needed, whether it as a staging area and HQ for operations in an area, providing protection for other ships, or if need be keeping mobile and hidden from enemy's looking to attack us
It's not. That's Eastern religious swastika, not Nazi swastika. The director/writer/producer of MGS is Hideo Kojima.
we've actually been considering some mobile options, if you comb through the threads we've looked at some barges/cargo ships etc. They boil down to a few major problems:
1.) they use an absurd amount of fuel
2.) producing food on them is challenging
3.) Having dry land to train on, and disembark on, opens up a lot of possibilities.
What seems to be the consensus is this: Get an island, and then get a ship. Keep most the people on the island but have the ship for transport, deployment, and other things.
A friends fiancée is a Overseer / Contractor for Frac Units in North Dakota / other states.... I've heard horror stories, you guys do much more insane shit than what we do in our oilfield.
I so fucking beyond jelly.... im cosmoline of you.
I went to /biz/ once not long after the board opened and they were having a deep convo about whether or not a character in a disney channel cartoon was a jew.
yea, hop on and sign up.
Come to Utah, I'll introduce you. I've been friends with her for fifteen years. Hell I'll even tell you stories over email if you want.
Yeah shit was crazy. Osha came around every six months and then inbetween visits we were going nuts. One guy literally was throwing home made explosives at jack rabbits with a catapult. I got hit in the head with a shovel and another guy lost a finger in a boating accident when there's no lakes out there.
>Hell I'll even tell you stories over email if you want.
I dont think I could handle that right now.
>One guy literally was throwing home made explosives at jack rabbits with a catapult. I got hit in the head with a shovel and another guy lost a finger in a boating accident when there's no lakes out there.
That sounds like tons of fun though sign me up.
Well heres to hoping he'll accidentally gut himself next time hes teaching someone something.
This thread has dredged up some sinister shit in me so im gonna go ahead and drug my self to sleep.
Email me and ill try to get back to you tomorrow.
Stab him in the neck for me.
I am not joking.
I am glad that you are so confident in your knowledge that you are picking a side on an issue that many potato-niggers have difficulty with. And going so far as to wish for the death of a FORMER operative? Someone who left? You must surely be wise beyond mortals.
Or you are a biased idiot.
I cannot stress this enough. Join us.
Perhaps a dual citizenship? I just started to check out the docs...
Also, what about fucking? I operate on a 'if you cute, we gud' policy. Does Outer Heaven encourage equal opportunity fucking? Are women involved in the project?
I'd genuinely like to know how old the people signed up for this is, btw. It would give me a bit of peace of mind if on average we weren't younger than mid 20s. Not to sound ageist, but there is a difference between someone fresh out of high school and someone who has a bit more real world experience, something which has driven them to become passionate about this project.
Super awesome, as long as your not in the cities.
Cities = Peoples Republic
Rural = Texas Light
Osha? Ohsa (Occupational Health & Safety Agency) here.
Yea we have WCB & ECRB watching everything like hawks here... And yet Green Peace is always up here bitching.
>created this as a joke three days ago
>even samefagged a little because the thread was going slow
Not sure how to feel about this.
>Libertarian. Almost no laws. Death/Exile to the few who can not obey basic no murder no rape rules. Reparations for all other damages.
So, worse penalties than most other countries outside the third world?
What will your traffic code be like?
>as a joke
From your joke shall spring a mighty nation, its like when the American founding fathers made a crack about declaring independence from Britain over some beers while they were sitting around complaining about the king and the idea just sort of grew from there.
Don't be surprised, /k/ & /pol/ have been dreaming of a separate nation for years.
Joke to you, goal for others.
I've always been partial to Exile, it removes it as our problem, and if they cry about it in another nation, we just have the diplomatic corps yell back "Then you shouldn't have broke the law dipstick", and no one else cares.
>worse penalties than most other countries outside the third world
might be more of an opinion thing, but i think exile for killin and rapein sounds a lot less harsh then 15 years in prison for having some pot or stealing a VCR.
>but i think exile for killin and rapein sounds a lot less harsh then 15 years in prison for having some pot or stealing a VCR.
I said OUTSIDE the third world. So not africa, bumblefuck asia or america
>What will your traffic code be like?
>what of laws for things that aren't childish caricatures of crime like MUH RAPIN N' KILLIN such as violations of workplace/chemical/fire safety standards or public urination
You know know these faggots will latch on to silly ideas.
I'd say you should feel pretty good, I love watching nerds get all excited abiut something that's not real. It's like the Scottish referendum all over again.
Only prob I'd have with exile is making sure wherever they go, their conviction travels as well. We don't need other countries crying foul when we 'send them' killers and rapists without them knowing..
Otherwise, it would be financially sound and encourage citizens to stay on the up and up.
What about drugs?
I feel like we need at least one person who is VERY well versed in law to figure out how we as a collective cover our asses in the global community.
>>what of laws for things that aren't childish caricatures of crime like MUH RAPIN N' KILLIN such as violations of workplace/chemical/fire safety standards or public urination
friend I don't think you quite grasp the point, the idea is to get out of the nanny state, not become it. read:
>Brainstorming doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17HzC_dxSUdwRLO4RAHH6a_a9ZZK5ETj47tGgI631NGk/edit?usp=sharin
Filter the tripfags.
I know what you mean though, too much shitposting right now.
Gotta wait until more trailers come out.
Big Boss frowns at your ignorance.
such is life as a metal gear fan
I'm gonna replay the entire series, and hype myself up.
Wait, we're really gonna try this?
Count me the fuck in.
>We are becoming exceedingly efficient at it.jpg
Yes, we definitely don't want to anger the international community. So if we ever became the chum buddy of China / Russia / USA, in return for letting them fly/dock here, they take our criminals.
It not like we'll have many.
so how will you do things like, say, manage traffic to not be a horrid clusterfuck of tourists' cars? What will your criteria be for the cataloguing of hazardous materials and how they are hazardous (so that emergency personnel can clean it up effectively)?
Or is this just an anarchist commune that won't go anywhere because no one's responsible for anything, so nothing will get done?
Once alliances come into play, enemies can follow. I think the sans frontieres concept should be employed literally so that we don't step on the wrong toes.
Wet dream instance: some chaps do wetwork for country X. Country Y finds out, retaliates against the group, rather than country X, since that would turn into a bigger shitstorm.
There is much to ponder. Tree huggers would have a much easier time establishing a non-threatening community than a collective of people who could be considered paramilitary, even if we're on the level.
get on in here friend
I feel like China would be a good friend to have in that area, and they love swinging their dicks around the rest of Asia, so a China friendly port island might be cool.
Jesus Christ how horrifying!
I'm already on it buddy
Well I can not speak for the group. But as far as I know it is to be a paramilitary country/organization, so no not an anarchist commune at all, and as far as getting shit done, again paramilitary, so I figure shit will get done quickly.
There is that risk yes, but you can mitigate that risk by allowing all sides to tender their vessels / aircraft there in return for whatever is agreed on.
It would be handy having a regional power on your side, but at the same time you don't want to be squished by the upcoming 'Pacific Pivot'..
My thoughts on it was with the India Ocean island options, that we would offer Russia tendering contracts in return for aid. Russia receives new range for its fleets, we get lots of Rubles to use... this was before Ukraine shit flinging of course.
I've got a lot of different things I can do but none of the funds required to do it. I can read and understand schematics and parts manuals.
Farming, hunting, mechanical/machining work.
A bit of experience in food production and such as well. Also taking up a hobby in trying to reverse engineer some stuff too, but that's still in its infancy.
God dammit, I want to be a part of this shit.
I'm pretty damn good at repairing small engines, especially two strokes. I'm not a half bad shot either.
I'm sure I could construct a few Mad Max helicopters if I had the plans and the parts.
>confirmed for never seeing a PO make Mat1s organize the other Mat1s to go to dinner on time
>thinking a town is built on "mad max helicopters"
>thinking he can build such a thing
Never seen a "Mosquito" Helicopter bud? There pretty sweet little machines.
Mechanically inclined is always useful, be ready to help build structures and Aquaponics units.
Web developer and novice-to-intermediate programmer/sysop (depending on what the subject matter is).
I'll keep an eye on these. I'll hop in if and only if you have a location established and a gameplan for political relations. I travel a decent bit so at that point, I'll plan a trip to the locale and spit with you guys in person. You'll need information infrastructure and someone to manage your local network.
Though in the meantime, I would highly recommend people dumping pdfs and guides of relevant information, and creating a DropBox of these do/k/s. We'll have a small electronic library of information to bring people up to speed.
No the "> thinking he can build such a thing" was the part I was rebuking. Mosquito choppers are very mad max~ish.
Tubes, 2 rotors / props, and a small snowmobile engine.
Good for 40miles of flight in calm air.
thire are hunderds of low risk low value things that need guarding, like goats, and empty ware houses, and rich white folks, those all exist and could give the /k/ PMC a start and some reputation.
I have no idea, but I did a short job back in July where I drove two states over and camped in a guy's field on the US/Mexico border for a week to protect his property and family from illegal aliens. I was within 1/4 mile from the border or closer at all times.
I have to assume if shit like that is available in the US, then in a wartorn or threatened place in shithole countries there HAS to be people wanting protection. It's just logical.
Elephant & Rhino guards, gotta fend of poachers.
Get a decommissioned frigate, slap on some dakka, do escort work for pricey container ships.
Protect Japanese whalers from fat Australian for $.
The options are slightly endless.
It's nothing tacticool or operator, but for personal reasons I don't want to say over the internet. Nothing happened while I was there with buddies (which was mostly the point, we were a deterrent and made our presence known for that reason) and with all our expenses we didn't even break even. I did it for the experience alone because I was the only one of my buddies who didnt go military.
It did show me I do kind of like doing security work for people besides the fucking government, though.
Glad to see this is going well, don't forget to sign up on the roster, we have 23 people on it already so if you forgot to do that go ahead.
We'll take all skilled and unskilled, because anyone can learn just about anything and we have a long road ahead of us so you'll have plenty of time to learn new things. Even a skill that you might think is dumb could come in handy, right now we're really just focusing on planning the beginning steps to this whole thing so don't be afraid to join in if you're interested.
I think I'll also look into getting our members educated about shit. Reading maps, navigation, communication. All that stuff. Just in case we have members who don't know that stuff already.
We need somebody who can twirl guns without ND-ing.
Essential skills, you know.
>Want to join
>No practical skills
>Know quite a bit about optics and photography
>Know a bit about audio production
Guess I'm joining the clownshoes corps.
