Are you prepared for the happening /k/?
Of course, I'm talking about the day that the skeletons rise from their slumber to wreak havoc upon mankind
How do you kill that which is already dead?
>TFW you realize that when you sum everything up you are basically a jellyfish piloting a flesh and bone mecha.
What caliber is best used to stop a skeleton?
I think the larger and heavier the round the better it would do to destroy the skeleton's physical structure, but what is used to destroy the dark magic that holds the skeleton together, meta-physically, what we need is meta-physical rounds.
My bet is shotguns. Undead skeletons would require catastrophic damage to put them down. I don't think anything other than shot will work.
I mean think of how many shots it would take you to obliterate one joint, or bone, beyond usefulness.
>Hur there's no tendons and ligaments or muscle to hold it together so it would just break apart anyway
I think if it were a legitimate situation of OHSHIT THESE SKELLINGTONS IS KILLING US, you would have to remove the entire joint in question. One shot per leg and arm joint.
Medieval weapons would probably be better against skeletons, honestly.
>Medieval weapons would probably be better against skeletons, honestly.
>You will never swing your 91/30 like a massive club to sweep apart the shambling bone-men.
Then we're all good and fucked.
Metroid Prime 2 taught me that darkness is displaced by light and reverse.
>and are not limited by muscles and skin.
This is exactly why they are much more frail than you are.
Also if you 91/30 club it up >>23288827, it's not CQC anymore.
>implying you can punch out a skeleton
Without a brain inside, there's nothing to smack against the inside of the skull through force to cause a KO
You need a sword.
But you can break plenty of individual bones that the skeletal system just falls apart.
This is only possible if the skeletons are held together at the joints by dark energy, and not the entire structure suspended by dark energy.
>We joke about the skeleton uprising
>it starts to pick up some momentum
>it starts popping up on other forums
>then there's a movie about a skeleton uprising
>suddenly there's video games
>and skeleton killer AR's
>eventually there's people who take it seriously
>it drags out for years
Replace "skeleton" with zombie and "uprising" with apocalypse.
This is how it starts guys.
We're gonna need a bigger gun.
>on the first day of the Skeleton Wars, Chicago and DC were both leveled by the dinosaurs they had once so proudly displayed
That might work. Unless the animals of earth are busy fighting their own skeletons. We have to recruit the help of the animal kingdom without skeletons, but instead, exoskeletons.
I bought my first gun Zastava M70A
How fucked am I for buying a Yugo TT
I never got the fear of a zombie apocalypse, if you just build a shelter like a bomb shelter stock it with supplies to last you 2+ years the zombies will just rot away and you'll be safe.
