There has been a major incident in Ottawa, Ontario today. Two soldiers were shot at the National War Memorial. Following that, a shooter entered Parliament, and there are reports of further shooting at the Rideau Center. Cellular jammers have been deployed.
Everything is confused at the moment, so it's difficult to say much beyond that definitely.
No deaths have been confirmed yet, but the shooter in parliament is likely dead after engaging in a short firefight with the sargent at arms and the soldier shot at the memorial is likely dead aswell going by the footage of 1st responders doing CPR on him all the way into the back of the ambulance.

We have a bit of a problem right now. Expect more of the same in many other countries.
Will you fucks shut the fuck up already? Literally, anything could happen at this point. If what >>23319962 says is true, it could perhaps get people to think twice about condemning funs. Maybe changes will be made
Be careful not to get in any boating accidents soon my /k/anadian /k/omerades.
Contact whoever in command of your little cadet platoon/battalion, whatever its called. It's clear that all CFB's are on lockdown and you can't get in without an ID and a reason for showing up.

CBC News reports that the soldier who was shot at the National War Memorial was a reservist from Hamilton in Ontario.
fuck. pretty much confirmed for my unit since the guy was wearing a kilt.
Parliamentary trappings inherited from the British. That mace costs something like 100K, just so you know. I used to think it was a wasteful expense, but apparently this guy's totally worth it.
Dem Parliamentary traditions, like >>23320154 said. The Sergeant At Arms, though he looks silly as an old man with a over-gilded mace, is the MP tasked with the security of Parliament and the ministers. Or should be
[Here in Britland, it's a serious thing for the Serjant not to be on point in situations like this; when police raided an MP's surgery/office, there was an uproar because he hadn't been presented with the warrant before it had happened, which is actually illegal]
Another pic of the shooter's car. Look at that rust. No class whatsoever.
