Just a friendly reminder for /k/, I've seen people joke about this but it's no joke at all. Do NOT fuck around with illegal gun modifications, the government WILL fuck you up and literally ass rape you and destroy your life. Follow the ATF's law and comply no matter how much you hate it, this is no fucking joke at all.
>comply no matter how much you hate it
MDA and ATF, pls go.
yep. if you google this the fbi or atf comes to your house asap
Basically, if you're going to do something illegal where the enforcement is passive you better use some common sense. They aren't going to kick in your door because you build an auto-sear, but if you post it on facebook or take it to the range they might.
Now I live in CA and I don't have anything I'm not supposed to have, and it's none of my business if someone else does but if I had a dollar for every time a Calguns poster made a thread bitching about getting kicked out of a range/store, getting their shit confiscated or worse because they walked around with an AW or 10+rd mags that are clearly not grandfathered in (yes officer, I totally bought an HK VP9 in 1998) I'd have enough money to comfortably retire out of state.
Two years also suggests that he's done something like this before or something else was involved.
In my reading experiences they rarely "throw the book" at someone on a first offense. Usually probation and no jail time or up to six months. Court cases cost too much money.
But then again, every once in a while I see a pistol with a VFG on armslist or facebook.
"Meat Spin" is a notorious Hell's Angels biker who runs that website. He has all sorts of schematics on that site.
He's one mean bad motherfucker as you will clearly see.
>a notorious Hell's Angels biker who runs that website
>one mean bad motherfucker as you will clearly see.
not really op related but........
I was in local gun shop awhile back some guy was buying a ruger 22 with suppressor just yacking away about practicing inside his house and shooting rats outside in the yard
this inside city limits of course
They usually don't care, but at least one case I remember an RSO asked about the mags (yep, kinda nosy), then asked the guy to just out them away. He got all pissy. RSO asked him to leave. He refused (trespassing). RSO left and called PD. PD detained moron, "man-handled" and "scratched" his precious Mini-14, confiscated his 30rd magazines and let him go. Then he spent like 10k fighting a legal battle to get them back only to realize they had been tossed in a shredder the day after they got confiscated.
In other words, sure it was BS but he had many warnings and opportunities to de-escalate the situation.
>posting or talking about your illegal modifications
Gotta say I do feel bad for people who live in such densely populated areas that they have no choice but to pay for the burden of using a range. I'm pretty sure you are statistically less safe shooting at a range than shooting alone.
>live in Amish land
>so many developments popping up, forced to use range
>trying to fix motorcycle
>oops, idling at 8k rpm wonder why
>turn off motorcycle
>backfire makes me go deaf
>dumbass city fags "tryna get out da hood" riding around slowly pointing at houses
Jesus fuck. Times was you heard gunshots all day long and nobody gave a shit. Now if even anything occurs that sounds like a gunshot the entire development has to get in their car and try to figure out who shot a gun.
I am surrounded by housing or other buildings for like 15 miles in every direction. The nearest wooded area is always chock full of people because it's a state park.
We all know the laws are unjust, but fighting them with civil disobedience clearly does nothing but harm to you, yet people persist in that attitude instead of trying to fight the laws.
fucking top kek
do you actually believe that? where do you think you get all of your food, your clothes, literally everything except tech and heavy industrial products
some of yall niggas delusion up in here
What the fuck are you going to do if you are say, a chemical engineer or software developer? You have to be close to work unless you want to commute like 5 hours each day. And work is in the metropolitan areas.
The only time someone got nosy was when I was texting out my ar build.and me being me refuses to comply with stupidity so I bought a 10/30 mag removed the rivet and went to range I first ask ro if standard cap was ok she said yes proceeded to shoot.but them comes this older goth only pistols he looks at me funny when I take out the 10 short mag and put a 30.talks to range officer she didn't care proceeded to empty mag.i always ask the range officer if it's alright first before ever taking them out
>mfw you need such specific quantifiers to make your argument sound valid
Also, does anyone know what kind of bolt carrier is needed for this drop in to work?
>what is telework
I am physically present in the office like one day every two weeks, and even that is just so I can remember what people look like and pick up mail.
I'll continue to enjoy my low cost of living, privacy, clean air and water, and aesthetically pleasing surroundings, but at least you cityslickers have "something going on every night". I see the appeal of that, but I'm not single and so I don't give a shit if there's 20 hookup bars within a mile of my abode.
I bring 30rders to my range all the fucking time. In fact, those are the only AR mags I own. They're PMAGs, and the 10/30s look identical to the unneutered ones because the mag block is internal, not a rivet you can see on the outside. Moral of the story: don't ask for permission, just load 10 and try not to be an idiot.
need the normal fullauto parts
essentially all it does is makes it so you dont need to drill the 3rd hole in the actual semiauto receiver
with this you get select fire and on the outside it looks like a standard semi
>fighting them with civil disobedience clearly does nothing but harm to you, yet people persist in that attitude instead of trying to fight the laws.
The game is rigged.
Armed civil disobedience is one of the few options left to us.
You can talk to Ted Bundy, McNig, and 85% of the gun owners in New York about that.
PS: I predict a brilliant future for you as a moderator for the gutless Internet warriors on Calguns.net.
Its the one person they catch every half decade.
If you're not a retard they will never catch you. There are 1000's of these in civilian hands and people rarely get cought with them. This isnt like drugs where they are constently moving and being consumed, its one guy making it and not telling anyone, then hiding it and NOT using it until its needed. Its not like the dealer's dealer's dealer will get cought and rat out the customers or whatever.
>TLDR Just dont be a retard and your fine.
Do you even get decent internet?
I work with a lot of guys who live away from suburbs and they've all got only one or two shitty metered satellite isps available. I think my boss is still on dial-up.
Everything else sounds nice, but internet alone in enough to keep me within city limits.
Am i on a watchlist?
Question is can you actually use it in your gun? Because her in murica you can buy them but prepare your anus and mercy kill your dog if you actually install it because if the old elite dog dispatching agency finds out you are done for kiddo
Yes but how do we make it in completely legal bottle opener form purely for bar tending purposes obviously?
>Just a friendly reminder for /k/, I've seen people joke about this but it's no joke at all. Do NOT fuck around with illegal gun modifications, the government WILL fuck you up and literally ass rape you and destroy your life. Follow the ATF's law and comply no matter how much you hate it, this is no fucking joke at all.
this may be the most pointless tryhard thing anyone has ever posted on /k/
>thanks for the warning OP, that was really necessary
>i guess I should ease up on my plans to manufacture heroin and distribute CP too
Operant conditioning, you've let them delude you into believing theres something inherently bad about possessing inanimate objects. All i see is a group of thugs kidnaping an innocent and playing mind games with people like you.
The only proper response is to acknowledge this as an example of illegitimacy of governance.
It's just a car i own if you try to take it from me for driving down the street without a license i will start killing people and attempt to over throw the government
no inanimate object, such as bombs or aircraft or poison should be have any restrictions on how can own them in any way, and to show i am being reasonable ill kill you if you try to take away the machine gun i illegally fabricated
Why do conservatives always circle jerk over Reagen as some Jesus type figure who never did anything wrong?
Reagan IRL was against almost everything that conservatives stand for today...
They busted some guy a street over from my parents. I day a street over but it's just out of town so semi rural and legal to shoot.
The thing is they'd let loose with full auto fire in their backyard until the houses that could hear it finally started to complain. The sheriff came and busted them.
So even if you make a full auto seer, it's not really safe to use even in your own yard and obviously not at a range.
I think it's cool to know how and that info should not be restricted but actually making it outside of a complete collapse of society is just idiotic.
Its just dumb to have a full auto.
1. It costs alot of money in ammo
2. It costs alot of money to own one legally
3. Even in a combat situation, you dont even need it!!
Just find a place that rents machine guns. It will end up being alot cheaper and no hassels... in the long run.
>but actually making it outside of a complete collapse of society is just idiotic
>outside of a complete collapse of society
Making one during would be even more stupid. If society were to ever collapse, ammo would become worth its weight in gold. The last thing you'd want to do is use full auto.
I've used a bumpfire stock and can easily bumpfire most guns I own. Sure, I sometimes feel like letting loose and shoot off a magazine, but (simulated) full auto gets boring quickly and is expensive. From what I've heard from others, real full auto isn't much different in terms of enjoyment.
>"That was fun!"
>do it again
>"That time not so much."
It's not about it being useful or the cost. We should be able to own machine guns if we want.
>Why do conservatives always circle jerk over Reagen as some Jesus type figure who never did anything wrong?
Because some of us here on /k lived thru the Regan presidency...
What I can tell you is that you tools are slowly being indoctrinated that Regan was terrible.
You don't hear about the attacks on Libya.. or his stance against the Soviets..
I don't care what you kids think or have been lead to believe.. you are all wrong and all of you wont care what I have to say -- even though I lived through it all..
Your teachers have done their jobs well
>Piece of shit.
You do realize the Hughes Amendment was attached to one of the most important pieces of pro-gun legislation even written, right?
That being said, yes, Reagan sure did have some flaws. The main point of this post is for you to fucking educate yourself before going, "Reagan was the devil for gun owners! ;^("
>You do realize the Hughes Amendment was attached to one of the most important pieces of pro-gun legislation even written, right?
lol you are retarded
>what is the 2nd ammendment
we are banning whole types of firearms, (Reagan supported the Clinton assault ban and wrote a letter to congress helping to get it passed) and mags and AR15s but trust us
we are protecting your gunrights by taking your guns and making you a felon if you keep them
>this is what republicans actually believe
If there's something I've learned from my time on this earth, it's that nobody is perfect and I'm bound to disagree with them at times. Reagan is the perfect case of, "I like him but I don't 100% agree with him."
The problem is people are expecting their political heroes to have their views 100% aligned with their own. If they deviate at all, then suddenly they are literally worse than Hitler.
>You don't hear about the attacks on Libya.. or his stance against the Soviets..
was he pro soviet?
or against just like every other fucking president since 1940
yeah that was a real daring position for him to take, being anti commie in the USA
a real maverick he was
Fuck that. Shoot your shit on private land and don't talk about it. The ATF is stretched way too thin to do shit. They score arrests when local LEO's bust a guys door down for drugs or a dv call and he leaves a sten in plain sight.
>do not comply
Just make a lightining link, you need a full auto hammer tigger and selector for it to work.since the ate considers more than two fa parts in a gun a machine gun.the only plus is select fire but a lightining link is easier and cheaper to make.or just get slide fire giggle switch may be fun but not a big enough deal to get raped by Jamel
nice red herring socialist reagan dick slurper.
Also any govt. that ignores the will of its own people has no right to govern, but i guess you like the idea of being a disposable feudal slave.
Another president pic, sense you equate govt. dictatorship with moral righteousness.
So much wrong with this.
ATF does not consider amount of parts for title II weapons. They care if the reciever will accept the auto parts or in some cases the auto parts themselves.
Lightning links are designed to work with semi components only. You will require a Colt SP style BCG.
>elect california govenor in one of the largest landslites in US history
>implying i was not the will of the people that got machine guns banned, implying there was not huge public support for it
I feel like this was probabaly actually an atf sting post or fake post by someone wanting to jump them.
I saw an fnx tactical with threaded barrel on armslist once for an unreal price, tried to get him to ship it to a dealer in state and he insisted meeting in person, it was in cali so threaded barrel regardless of mag size is no go and seemed like a scam.
It's fucking bullshit too. I was out in the country on private land with my friends and one of the "neighbors" way up the side of the valley got pissy about it and called the sheriff and told them we were shooting full-retard. A deputy came out just as we were packing up and started asking us about it. When he realized the people who called were wasting his time he thanked us and was on his way.
you cannot own a drop in auto-sear or lightening link as it is a component created to CONVERT a semi-auto into full auto
what you can posses are fire control components intended for use in an existing machinegun, but not to CONVERT a semi auto
even then, be careful with constructive possession/intent
so in short:
DIAS/LL - illegal
M16 FCG - legal(ish)
>You do realize the Hughes Amendment was attached to one of the most important pieces of pro-gun legislation even written, right?
Whatever effects FOPA would have eventually been accomplished through lawsuits and case law, look what's happened in the last 30 years. Frankly, it would have been better if it was settled in court, because FOPA justifies states and local police fucking people over for crossing some invisible line without putting their gun in the trunk, in a locked safe, seperate of ammo and blah blah.
(o)(1) Except as provided in paragraph (2), it shall be unlawful for any person to transfer or possess a machinegun.
(2) This subsection does not apply with respect to—
(A) a transfer to or by, or possession by or under the authority of, the United States or any department or agency thereof or a State, or a department, agency, or political subdivision thereof; or
(B) any lawful transfer or lawful possession of a machinegun that was lawfully possessed before the date this subsection takes effect.
FOPA allowed shipment of ammo through USPS, which the 1960's gun control act banned. Never affected UPS or FedEx.
You are so fucking gay, nogunz, and newfag it hurts.
There are not three pinholes in that fucking received, and the one you mentioned is not the "third" pin even if there were 3 you idiot.
Go back to fucking Reddit
The ATF classifies drop in auto sears as machineguns.
Some companies make 80% completed ones for glock 17's and such sold as "paperweights" but you can't own both a glock 17 and an 80% auto sear at the same time because then its "constructive posession"
Aka if a part makes it possible to complete/convert to a machinegun in your shop with the right tools it also equals having a machinegun.
Its been almost 30 years since the ban, literally all of the loopholes around the ban have themselves been banned.
Closest thing thats still legal is bump fire which no doubt will probably be banned at some point too.
I'll bet it'll look something like this:
"Any device not manufactured and registered before january 1st 2018 that enables a firearm to achieve a cyclic rate resembling that of full auto fire by utilizing recoil in the operation of the trigger or by other means is prohibited"
Don't give them ideas
Theoretically speaking. If i wanted to own Full retard AK parts for Paperweights, Would i get my shit pushed in if i theoretically owned an AK while these parts were on my desk for paperweights?.
>where do you think you get all of your food
Garden state nigga, we grow a ton here
China, Vietnam, Bangladesh....US doesn't do textiles anymore hahaha
>some of yall niggas delusion up in here
You're the delusional one senpai
Anyone else find it funny the Nigger in Chief talks about wanting to put fewer people in person but he allows non violent people like this poor guy in jail while he allows the scum the 3rd world to flood into the nation and stay in this nation after they are finished in our prisons?
NIGGER FUCK OFF I DO WHAT I WANT SUCK A DICK BABY
Or you can go down fighting and free.
So much shilling, when did the gov get so afraid of this humor oriented board
>do you actually believe that? where do you think you get all of your food
>literally everything except tech and heavy industrial products
china, and china.
Back in the day there was a meme going around that said go to imagefap and search for [keyword]. If you did it, a vaguely official looking image popped up saying that the FBI had been contacted and sent your IP address, you sandwich-eating exfatty.
I put [keyword] since I'm not sure if 4chan's new reptilian overlords find that sort of thing amusing.
I like using pic related whenever people blurp on about "OVER 100% OF REAL AMERICANS THINK WE SHOULD BAN ALL FIREARMS AND SHARP STICKS AND ENFORCE MANDATORY BACKGROUND CHECKS AND WAITING PERIODS FOR DULL STICKS"
I think he means they'll say that you were planning to get the extra parts, regardless of your actual intent, to put you in jail. Seems kind of tinfoil, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's happened.
You either have a machinegun or you don't. A machinegun is a machinegun. The receiver to a machinegun is a machinegun. Enough parts to assemble a machinegun is a machinegun. Devices which allow you to convert a semi auto into a full auto, without modification to the host weapon, are machineguns.
80% auto sears and lightning links are not machineguns.
To ban bump fire they would have to ban semi autos and I don't ever see that happening. Too many people love semi autos too much.
>If that was true, anon, no-one would have needed to write them down. Like on the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. Would they?
because writing something down is the same thing as voting on it
the general population never voted on the constitution
>there are senior citizens like this on /k/ regularly who post without understanding anything
>Nice hyperbole. You can legally own as many hand grenades as you want/can afford btw.
try to actually buy one and tell me how it works out for you
you can't do it or find any example of a regular civilian who has
He stood up armed against the federal government. He's about the only nigger I know who puts his money where his mouth is. Come back when you do something significant enough to warrant national attention.
>being autistic enough to get caught with a giggle switch
>allowing one self to be taken in alive
this moron deserves to have his asshole turned into a playground for bubba over the next two years
when breaking federal laws its best to go down in a blaze of glory, state laws are a slap on the wrist. themoreyouknow™
I have pic related
that is a form for the 40mm launcher not for an individual live grenade
people buy the launchers to shoot those .22 cluster shells and stuff out of
but the atf has literally never approved a civilian to own something like a pineapple grenade
You'd need an explosives licence and magazine for storage to be legal. I'd send in a form 1 just because it'd be neat but I'm looking to buy a house $$
The ATF doesn't give a fuck long as you do everything according to the law.
you also need someone to sell you (transfer to you) a grenade
which nobody will do
the reason that you can find machine guns for sale but not grenades should tell you something
you are right in theory that it is legal, but in practice no individual has ever been allowed to purchase a real live grenade
To ban bumpfire they would just have to ban bumpfire and add a clause to the definition of what constitutes a machinegun vs a semi auto. A ban doesnt have to make sense to make some thing illegal or controlled.
various state bans on pistol grips, folding stocks, and barrel shrouds would illustrate that, pretty much none of the assault weapons act of the 90's had any basis on weapon function either. If its scary and it makes the grabbers vaginas sandy rest assured they will try to ban it.
Never say never when it comes to bans.
You are correct, and wrong at the same time about 80% sears.
You are right that you can own one, but if you own one + its host weapon theres something called "constructive posession"
Its basically the legal equivalent to "conspiracy to commit" style laws.
They can say "hes got an 80% sear, hes got a glock 17, this gives us reasonable cause to believe he intended to create a machinegun"
Constructive posession isnt the same as having a machinegun, its a seperate charge, but you still get butt-fucked.
>armed civil disobedience is one of the few options left to us
Show me proof that regular mass civil disobedience was tried in the case of NFA related stuff and then I will agree with you that we have no other options left. They could easily bring down these laws with an organized group
I would like to hear that story, atleast the basics. I miss stuff here and there due to my job taking me out of the country. What happened to mcniggerator? We are talking about the galil guy right?
How is it an option?
Media headlines would just read "ATF and federal martials kill another psycho"
And everybody would go on not giving a shit aside from a few fringe groups like us.
I fucking hate the city too.
Im from rural montana but have to spend atleast the next few years in LA.
Fuck city life. Literally always surrounded by people, theres a fucking line for everything, have to step over mangy hobos and wander through packs of agressive blacks and territorial mexicans.
The white people are stuck up rich kid snobs, the koreans would be alright if theyd fucking learn english, but they either wont, or refuse to speak it.
I'd rather have a plot of land out in the woods all to myself, I manage to not go insane by telling myself thats what im working for and why I have to put up with this horse shit.
I want to sit by the hollywood sign and drink beer while I watch this shithole burn.
Of what articles do you soeak? From what I remember of civics, the constitution ia the supreme law of the land and all the 2A says is that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Delving into intent or interpretation as opposed to following the letter of the law is a sticky bit to deal with
Its okay, anon, everyone makes mistakes. I appreciate your uncommon civility in our online discourse and reward you with a picture of the village putins
Did you know the original pre ratification draft of the 2nd amendment had a concession barring forced military service for conscientious objectors
"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; a well armed and well regulated militia being the best security of a free country but no person religiously scrupulous of bearing arms shall be compelled to render military service in person."
