I wish facepainting was still fashionable. It's just so neat for innajungle.
Not that easy when the picture in OP is from the 60s (unless im mistaken of the origin of the picture).
I know this is a satire photo of the camo lineup pictures, but it brings to mind how much it bugs me when people online have spergfests about camo and use static photos as evidence. A picture doesn't really capture how something looks in it's environment in-person, and many of the photos are compressed and artifacted. Not to mention the cherry picking and framing, especially of camos a particular poster is a fanboy of.
Looks like they've hung treetops across the road in order to mask it against airplanes. Had some baller photos of swedish road air strips hiding fighter divisions doing the same thing, but cant find them.
It's just semi-transparent sheet. You can see easily trough it when you are up close, but from further away... it looks solid.
Makes road bit harder to spot from low flying attack aircraft.
