Hi /lgbt/, first time posting here, I normally lurk on /k/. I'm a fairly normal straight white tall male in the military and recently a co-worker came out to me. I've always been supportive of gay people in theory because I'm politically all about freedom for everyone, but my exposure to gay people is very limited. Personally I'm a little freaked out and I find gayness gross but he's a good guy and I want to do the right thing but I don't know how.
Man, that guy's handsome. Reminds me of a mix between Nathan Drake and Keeanu Reeves.
Just be his friend, as you were before (if you were). Try not to show disgust if he mentions which guys he likes and what he would like to do with them (though I don't think he would say that stuff to a straight guy unless asked.) If you meet any gays later on, maybe try hooking him up with them if you think he would like it.
>>5559256 Just keep treating him like you did before. His sexuality is none of your business and shouldn't change the way you act around him; if he told you about it it's because he trusts you. The right thing to do is just to carry on as normal.
The purpose of a relationship is for it to be monogamous, to establish security for both of you. Having one partner go off and sleep around compromises that. Also it puts your partner at risk for sleeping around outside of the relationship and possibly contracting an STI of some sort.
Either play the dating game or don't, there's none of this one leg in the other leg out bullshit, it doesn't fly.
>>5558917 >The security lies in the emotional side of it. also finances, living conditions and whatnot. People didn't just start being monogomous out of a vacuum, it happened because it was the best method of conducting a relationship. I'm sure once upon a time we tried the polyamorous stuff, but it just didn't work.
>There can be emotional security whilst you're having fun with others. Well you first need to be emotionally healthy... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Do any of you gay guys and gals do it? You meet a straight person, feel an attraction rising up (purely physical in my case) and then try to shut it down? Am I right in doing so or should I not bother about it so much?
>>5558826 you don't have to shut down your attraction per se, just realize that nothing is going to come out of it. it's definitely possible to have the hots for a straight person while still being realistic that nothing going to happen. not all lust has to have an endpoint/goal.
>>5559242 >I usually use hate to block it, finding as many mistakes and errors on that person as I can. Works pretty well. This. A thousand times this. If you can't find any mistakes, invent some. Cut ties with them completely if you feel like you can't resist.
I have no idea how bisexuals make friends. Usually when I become good friends with a guy, I'll end up being attracted to him to a certain degree, which can range from - yeah, if he initiated something I wouldn't... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I'm sure you get this question a lot but I'm going to ask it again.
Recently figured out the reason I was getting hard to pictures of gay sex and traps was because I'm bi. I was rejecting it pretty hard for a long time and the problem is that walking around my university I look and don't consider anyone attractive its only online and usually not focused on the faces. Is this something that will come with time or what?
>Is this something that will come with time or what?
For me attraction comes with getting to know someone. I wont have much interest with them at first but sometimes after spending 100 hours (estimate) with a person I can sometimes start to find feelings for them. At that point its not even about what they look like, more about their personality.
Hetero sex is the pursuit of creation and is the pursuit of the ultimate erotic pleasure, a "magic" meeting of the yin and yang.
Homosexual sex is mutual masturbation. BUT homos are not lost souls pretending they're not straight. Instead, they are yin AND yang and do not "need" sex as much. They are both masculine and feminine.
This is why they understand both sexes and can identify problems in communication between the sexes, they feel "outside the box". This is why they are highly intuitive and often times indifferent to... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>be me >17 >spend too much time on the internet >meet a qt boy from England >2 years later >both have feelings for each other >December 2015 >he saves up enough to come over >we fuck multiple times a day for over a week
So /lgb/, can anybody here tell me why I can't seem to fall in love with people anymore? Everytime I go out on dates with people. I just become increasingly more annoyed with everything that they do and say. Am I simply dating the wrong people? I don't know, all I know is that it feels like I can't have a connection with anyone because their flaws just blare out at me and keep me distant.
>>5558690 Well that's not very nice. I'm just trying to get some insight here. Dating seems to be easier for other people and I just wanted to know if there was something I could do to have a better experience, or at the very least feel something for someone.
>>5558419 No. She is just a shitty human being and hon who transited for publicity, and because her wealth brings her an ungodly amount of privilege + her right wing politics, the Jews figured she was a good figurehead for trans and shoved her down the throat of the population.
I am vaguely curious as to a conversation with you. And, this is just my conservative Christian opinion, topless. And considering yourself cute, well there should be no limit. Just from what I see, you're hot.
Scenario A: Male likes to cross dress, but still gets rock hard by vagina, sometimes a man just wants to look pretty. The man in question still wants to eat bacon, lift weights, and be manly when not cross dressing, Just sometimes LBD look on fleek (spellcheck).
Welcome to the crossdressing rabbit hole. You' start to notice soon that you've grown so attached to it that it's more than just a sexual thing and you'll want to be a girl. Your whole body will ache to have breasts, a vagina and a softer face.
