Feet seem to be one of the least transition-able body part for female-to-male transgender people
FtM complaining about feet and shoes is a common trope in the transgender sphere
>mtf cosmetic foot surgery
>shoe size problems
How do you feel about your feet?
i'm ftm and i haven't thought about my feet much until recently. they fit weird in men's shoes and now they fit weird in women's shoes. but now they're starting to grow hair, so i don't really care.
yes, mtfs definitely usually have gross feet and it's disappointing.
please, science, help.
I'm bi but mens feet gross me out 99% of the time. there are some exceptions but not many.
too bad it can't fix my length and knobbly toes.
And I get it, the grass is greener, but I feel that ftms can still buy manly looking kid shoes, but an mtf has to use the cross dressing store that also sells strap on vaginas a single click away...
have you really looked at most kid's shoes? or clothes for that matter? it's mostly a lot of terrible options or you gotta order online... i'm a transguy, and i'm kid sized (clothes and shoes), and it really does make it hard to get clothes and shit...
i'm not particularly bothered by my feet and don't care, and i can acknowledge that some transchicks have it harder there... but anyone who hasn't spent a significant amount of time looking for wearable kid's clothes/shoes for themselves as an adult really has no idea how hard it actually is to find shit that's wearable
>can barely find men's shoes
>don't even want to think about how hard it'd be to find women's shoes
can I just get my legs chopped off below the knee and get human-sized prosthetic feet instead?
Are you fucking kidding me?
I have size 11 male feet.
Oh snap you have size 6 guy feet.
Next your going to tell me ftms hardest challenge is growing beards.
No guy judges another guy by his feet. Are you fucking joking?
FTM here. I have UK size 7 feet and they're pretty androgynous most of the time.
I was born with flat feet and was made to do foot exercises as a kid. I remembering asking why I had to and she said so I could wear heels when I grew up. I decided then and there that I didn't ever want to wear heels and stopped so my feet are wide as fuck now.
oh yeah, you have it bad. i'm mtf transitioning soon and this is what i have to contend with.
My hands are lumpy and my feet look deformed. the nails don't even grow properly on my feet. not to mention the fatass joints and raised veins.
I know that I have it bad ;_;
I still fit into girl shoes though, so I just can't wear anything open toed and whatever.
Does anyone else find wide feet to be much cuter on a woman? Narrow feet look longer even if they are small, so they look manly.
I know some footfags are into creepy long toes but stubby toes are infinitely cuter and more feminine.
>I remembering asking why I had to and she said so I could wear heels when I grew up.
She was bullshitting. Flat feet can cause a number of problems later in life and they are literally an evolutionary disadvantage. Flat-footed is a term for a reason.
honestly the best ones are those that can strike a balance without being too long and bony and without being too short and chubby either
I do prefer longer toes though, I dislike it when they're all scrunched up
I don't really know how I feel about them
thank you! :) and oh wow I never knew that! I'll keep that in mind. Just out of curiosity what are the do's and don'ts with nail polish? Like I'm assuming doing stuff like painting ever finger/toe a different color is generally considered too middle schooler right?
The best you can do is the color that is exactly opposite and complimentary to your skin tone, or otherwise, it should match your clothing/shoe choice
Red is the color of basic bitches and it always will be.
dude, i was a grill once. it's not about what you like anymore. guys can get away with wearing shirts with dragons or flames on them, but girls have to dress in ways that other people like.
if you dress/groom for your own standards, its going to weird people out.
I'm also an incredibly jaded trans man, so take my advice with a grain of salt. You don't have to be a normie, but you should really pick up a few months of 17 magazine at your local library, and study!! that!! shit!! being a girl is fucking complicated as shit, and since you haven't had years of people knitpicking your grooming habits, you should start simple. look up beauty life hacks on pinterest. watch makeup vines. figure out what kinda nail polish is out there- what's popular and what you like. there's a LOT out there anon, but it's hard stuff. Good luck!
maybe if you pick a shit color in the first place
it's not like anon can just pick up color theory if she doesn't already have a sense of it to begin with
actually you know what anon, just follow your heart and decide based on what you're wearing when you paint them, and just try to go with what feels good when you look at it
disregard assholes on the internet who try to tell you there are rules or some shit
Thank you :) and its funny cause since I went from, like you said, being able to wear whatever the fuck I want to suddenly having all those rules its hard to figure out where the line between trying to not get harassed in the street and just trying to please everybody is. I've gotten used to most of the stares so Ive accepted I'm probably always gonna look a little weird and different, but Im just too lazy to try to pick up on ALL the social/fashion rules girls have to follow. After a certain point it just seems easier to stop giving a shit and stop trying to look good for people so maybe they'll hit on you. but still thank you for your input :)
>tfw size 12, almost 13 feet
>toenails are fucked up, got some weird ass vertical lines and are dry as fuck
>big callouses on big toes right on the top of the toe knuckle
i will never be a cute girl with cute feet. i will always be an ugly manhon. i should just kill myself already. every time i see a girl with cute feet, all small with smooth nails and no callouses i just want to die.
i'm like 2 years and a bit into transition, got bottom surgery, some girl asked for pics of my feet and told me they were cute, tho I'm 6 feet tall and only a size 10 women's, high arch helps I guess?
My feet are kinda widish, but they're only a size 11 so I can still wear women's size shoes. MtF on hormones for 3 years, old pic but my feet have slimmed down.
Do they look feminine?
>used to have pretty cute feet
>had to have surgery for ingrown toenails
>both of my big toes look disgusting now
Life is suffering.
Feet are a body part. A generally clothed body part that can be made naked. Usually a very sensitive, soft body part at that. If anything its a rather generic fetish.
That being, the real reason its as common as it is is because feet/toes come right after genitals in the primary somatosensory cortex.
But more generally, damn, I was born with extremely effeminate hands and feet, and I'm just bi, no inclination towards trans shenanigans. I feel for yas.
I have feet not dissimilar to you two, and im a cisgirl. So obviously while it might not make you feel like the daintiest girl ever, I don't think it would stop you passing :)
For your hands, growing the nails out will help. I also have largeish knuckles, and having nails that come out just at/slightly beyond my fingertips makes them seem more in proportion. Certain nail polish colours can help too, but that depends on skin tone as well so you would have to just experiment. Its annoying trying to find rings that fit, though!
The lines and dryness can be signs of certain vitamin deficiencies or health problems. Google it and see what you find. I used to have lines/ridges too but it cleared up when i started eating healthier, so do that or take vitamins maybe
I don't agree with trying to match lipstick with toe/nail polish just because lipstick comes in much fewer colors that don't look widely weird most of the time. I mean black nail polish is pretty normal and common nowadays but black lipstick? Same with literally any color besides red (sea blue lipstick? green lipstick? Yellow lipstick? people would think you're crazy or cosplaying), the only really socially acceptable lipstick color for women above the age of ~`15
FTM; I always kind of liked my feet. I guess bigger size would be more manly, but they'd look weird on my small manlet body anyway. Also I'm the most common size for women (8) so it used to be easy to find shoes...
Black lipstick is sexy af
red lipstick always looks pretty whorey, and I'd pretty much prefer orange, yellow, brown, pink, purple, any day of the week really
even blue or green shades are fine though I doubt most could pull it off
red looks like the lips of a happy vagina
>Size 10 mens / 11.5 womens US
I'm pretty similar only I'm 5'11 and wear size 11's. I'm still in the closet, though, so I'm not sure how easy/hard it will be to find shoes. It doesn't look good, though, it seems like most of the really really cute ones are for women with size <10 feet, which really fucking sucks. if I ever get money I'm starting shoe store for women with larger feet that has something besides grandma shoes.
I don't think there is all that much you can do aside from improving the skin, removing hair, and getting the nails professionally done. I actually got my start into the whole none-dude-kinda-girl thing by convincing strangers on omegle that I was a grill and letting them jerk it to my feet. I was very lucky though, I stopped growing at age 15 and ended up 5'4" with size 6.5 in women's shoes. (It always was nice to have an excuse to shop in the girls section as when I was with family)
pic related, I used to shitpost stuff on /soc/ too
My feet are the single worst part of my body. I have short fat toes and they are very wide so it's difficult to find shoes that aren't runners that fit properly.
But it doesn't really bother me all that much because no normal person really gives a shit or pays all that much attention to someones fucking feet. I have small hands but they are kind of gross and manly looking too. But them being small is a plus I guess.
I would never have any sort of cosmetic surgery on my feet because I enjoy running and would much rather be able to run properly over have feminine feet. I have considered getting the joints on my fingers shaved down though since they look sort of clubbed. Not even sure if that procedure is preformed.
