Who are some of the politicians that we need to look for and support? I think Hillary has been pretty good and we need to get behind her now so that she can enter the general election in a strong position against any Republican challenger.
Any other strong, Pro LGBT Politicians we need to support?
I think Bernie Sanders is the best overall on LGBT issues, Hillary's become pro-LGBT only recently while Bernie's been pro-LGBT all along. I've also heard that Trump isn't too bad on LGBT issues.
Hillary is not legbutt friendly.
Why do you say that? She is for pro-gay marriage and according to her lgbt issues page has been fighting for equality for all throughout her career.
>source provided less you think I am making it up.
Hillary is a fucking basketcase. Bernie may be a bit meek, but he's at least sane and not prone to having meltdowns like Hillary.
And honestly, I respect her even less since she did that press conference about keeping classified docs on her own private drive.
>Did you wipe the drive?
>What, like with a towel?
That shit is not cute.
I can easily see her being Nixon 2.0 in terms of illegal and unethical shenanigans. I don't give a shit how legbutt friendly she is, or passes herself off as.
There's tons and tons of interviews and speeches of her about her anti-LGBT views from the 90s. Specifically she was pretty outspoken against gay marriage.
Unless her career just started she has definitely not been pro-LGBT her whole career.
>And honestly, I respect her even less since she did that press conference about keeping classified docs on her own private drive.
>>Did you wipe the drive?
>>What, like with a towel?
Yeah but even Bernie Sanders admitted that the e-mail thing was a complete non-issue that was being driven by partisan republicans for completely political purposes. The republicans had that one congressman who admitted the "Benghazi Hearings" were just an effort to drive her poll numbers down.
>There's tons and tons of interviews and speeches of her about her anti-LGBT views from the 90s. Specifically she was pretty outspoken against gay marriage.
>Unless her career just started she has definitely not been pro-LGBT her whole career.
Her views may have slightly evolved over time, but what matters is that she was there when it counted. When the Obergefell case was before the Supreme Court she was strongly urging them to do the right thing and protect marriage rights for all.
Since they're both running for president it's really just one or the other, as far as I'm concerned.
Only one of them can be the Democratic nominee, and either would be vastly preferable to a Republican, at least as far as LGBT issues go.
Can you really expect a Republican to do any more for LGBT people than to not make things worse?
Bernie shys away from criticizing Hillary because she's Hillary, and would face backlash for criticizing her. Trump hasn't targeted her all that much, either. Probably because he knows Bernie is his real competition on the democrat side.
What she did isn't a non-issue; people usually lose their jobs and are legally penalized for thing similar to what she did. Only reason she's not in any trouble is that she's Hillary.
And honestly, even if she weren't a volatile nut, I wouldn't want someone so irresponsible and disdainful of law and proper protocol representing me.
Here's a hint: they are not her views. They're politically convenient views.
I have more respect for a republican that's still anti gay despite the demographic shift than a democrat that changes values based on polls.
I'm going with Bernie Sanders, he was there for us in the 80s of all times.
That's exactly how politicians should work, though. The whole fucking point of a republic is that we have politicians to represent the interests of their constituents.
If she's supporting gays now because her constituents support gays? GOOD. Who gives a good goddamn what her own personal feefees are, that's how our political system is fucking supposed to work.
Yeah, I do. Courts are only so useful if you don't have politicians who have the balls to stand up for what's right. Who appoints a SCOTUS judge when one dies? The president. I want the judges to be appointed by a president who values what's right, not what's popular.
So no, you don't have any idea how the american political system works.
So fucking glad Sanders is learning from Ralph Nader's mistake and not running independent against Hillary.
Definitely voting for him in the primary, but if he doesn't win then Hillary still has my vote.
Honestly if you are LGBT and voting for a republican you're a fucking retard.
It's not about welfare. It's about the democrats having a record of being pro-LGBT while the republicans if anything are the opposite. It doesn't make sense to vote for a republican unless they are at least tolerable on LGBT issues and have really good policy in other areas.
Republicans for the most part have just ignored us.
Really the only ones that even give a damn are the evangelicals that have become their base voters. Which have only got louder as a reaction the Democrats pushing things.
>being one issue voter
>voting for the one person who would single-handedly devastate the United States
>voting for a sociopathic lying bitch
You people are why this country is going down the shitter. Enjoy your right to gay marriage while everything else is destroyed.
MtF here, voting Trump, so far.
Can someone please explain a Eurocuck why anyone would vote for someone like Trump?
He seems like a megalomaniac and a narcissist with ideas akin to a dictator's.
Honest to god, however bad the other choices are, Trump needs to have some very redeeming qualities about himself, and some very intricate political ideas to improve the country.
The wall won't help. History has shown that walls never help.
Youre countries are becoming dysfunctional with the current 2 million immigrants that are making way to Europe, while all along, we have close to 20 million illegal immigrants that are mostly receiving subsidies, and food stamps. It's becoming an unwanted strain, and it's about time we went back to kicking ass, and to a no nonsense approach to this problem. No more negotiating, and no more sympathies.
That doesn't explain anything. You just criticized European countries with going through a period of less stability because of an emerging problem that is being handled with utmost care at the moment.
What policies, next to the ridiculous wall, does Trump have to improve the country? And why is nobody else seeing qualities of a sociopathic dictator in this person?
do people really believe what some nigger leftist says on cnn after they piece clips together and show how all the republicans are big meanie pants to Hitlery for keeping a private server and wiping it?
'OH THERE JUST TRYING TO DESTROY HER AND BRING HER POLL NUMBERS DOWN'
the hearing was pointless, there is much much more incriminating shit than the private email servers for hitlery.
the media is misleading you and weaponizing people into a Stockholm syndrome like trance of blind social justice.
I'm voting Trump if he gets the nomination (which seems inevitable). Democrats have had more than enough time to fuck everything up and it'll be a cold day in hell before I vote for a socialist.
Are you guys literally retarded? Do you follow politics at all, or are your facebook memes your only source of info? I'm with you guys on hating Hillary; she's a lying cunt who only supports lgbt shit to gain votes.
That said, how the fuck do you jump from that to Trump? That man has some of the vaguest nonsense policies that would only end up increasing our deficit and continue to fuck up the middle east. This is btw an assumptions because "HUUGE", "DA BESS CABINATE EVVEAAH ", and "It WILL BLOW UR MIND" are hardly useful in determining what the fuck he is even trying to say. I'm mostly extremely curious as to why you guys would vote for him (aside from retarded counter culture attitude)? Are you guys birthers? I've seriously never met a real Trump supporter before, so I'd really love to hear back.
>which seems inevitable
Sorry to break it to you, but he's going down in the polls. No one really takes him seriously enough to win the primary and he will continue to go down in polls as we approach them. That's why he pushed for reducing the debate time; the man isn't very bright.
Shillary is an empty suit with no thoughts and beliefs of her own other than the ones she thinks will make her popular at that time. Not to mention that she is a corporatist. I'd rather vote for fucking Trump. As retarded as his ideas are, at least they are his, whether they are politically convenient or not. Plus he posts memes on twitter, or at least his intern does.
Just because only one can get nominated doesn't mean the other won't be on the ballet... that's how Bush won one of his terms.. because there were two popular democrat candidates and the democratic vote was being split between them.... as much as I want Bernie to win the next election I honestly don't see it happening with Hilary around.. same shit is gonna happen and the republicans will win because the democrats are idiots... only ways I see the democrats winning this next election is if either Bernie or Hilary drop out or they both team up with one as the VP... which would probably be Bernie cause Hilary wants the title too badly and would never agree to being someone's VP
Voting for Bernie. The guy has talked the talk and walked the walk for decades. He's pro-2nd Amend, pro-LGBT, for reducing income inequality, pro-UHC (real UHC, not this ACA band-aid bullshit), holds no allegiance to any corporations or big dollar donors, is all about both supporting the veterans and not wasting military lives or tax dollars on unnecessary conflicts, and doesn't give a fuck about trying to work with a party that's being run by their lunatics and seems to want to do an end run around them.
Hillary is a lying bitch that's in the pocket of the usual suspects that make money while fucking over those under them (99% of the population). Ultimately, nobody has any real idea of what Hillary would really do in office. Best case scenario is that she's been playing EVERYONE all along, and by being the POTUS she no longer has to answer to anyone and can turn her back on the ones she's in the pocket of and get shit done. Worst case scenario is she makes devil's bargains with the Republicans, Wall St, etc. and doing jack shit on a practical level while making it look like she's doing anything helpful to most of us.
The only other Dem I like besides Bernie is Webb, but I see him as VP material, not POTUS. He would've been a 90s era moderate Republican, so in that light he'd be useful for grabbing up swing votes. Of course I'm sure that Bernie will be pressured into picking someone that's non-white and/or female, so whatever.
None of the Republicans are offering anyone that I wouldn't be concerned as fuck about as POTUS. Kasich and Bush are the least bat-shit of that crowd, and they'd be considered far right establishment conservatives back in the 90s. Fuck Cruz, fuck Carson, and especially fuck Trump. Fiorina and Rubio aren't even on my radar because she won't win the primary for obvious reasons, and Rubio's basically admitted that he can't handle being a senator so why make his ass president?
Bernie is a weakling. Are you really going to trust this kek with the football?
> reducing income inequality
she opposed it when opposing it was popular, then began supporting it when supporting it was popular
she's an empty suit, and she's in it for herself
she'll do whatever she needs to do to advance her career
Although funny and true the way that pic is done could be a little misleading. It's important to show that she only started to not be against gay marriage until 2014. That pic might imply she's supportive of gay marriage for at least a decade
he's the least shitty candidate desu
>Bernie "So Sorry" Sanders
Literal kek, official candidate for gibsmedats. (I'm assuming this is who you support)
blown the fuck out. even the GOP establishment couldn't save him
>Ben "Too Retarded to Consider" Carson
>that the e-mail thing was a complete non-issue that was being driven by partisan republicans for completely political purposes
You just regurgitate whatever your authority figure of choice tells you without the slightest involvement of critical thinking, right? Holy shit, what you just wrote is refuted by googling for a few minutes. You're a caricature of a leftist.
you're one of the only people with some goddamn sense in this thread
god bless you, based anon
>I dont want to pay for my hormones so im gonna vote someone to give me free shit
Yes, keep voting incompetent politicians because they promise you shit.
Once the day of the rope begins you and hillary can rub shoulders hanging from the lampposts.
If you refer to the picture it's portraying a righteous man about to clean up the genetic pool you fucking ape.
Guess which side of the political spectrum owns guns, its not your faggy ass leftists.
>voting for Hillary
She is literally a scumbag, trash politician in every way that just rides on whatever is popular.
I would like Sanders a lot more if he wasn't a fucking warhawk. I don't know who to vote for; they all suck in some way.
/pol/ fuck off
the day of the rope is never going to happen, you're all far too cowardly to ever act
I disagree with libertarians, but I can see why they believe that they believe
I don't entirely agree with nationalists, but I can see why they believe what they believe
being a nationalist libertarian seems impossible
libertarianism, at it's core, is about individuality
nationalist, at it's core, is about unity
>we don't want our country flooded with 3rd worlders any more
Hate to burst your bubble, but you will never stop immigration to your country so long as it has that much more economic opportunity than Latin America. That cute little wall that Trump wants to build is just the beginning. If you really are that concerned about foreigners coming to your country and doing your job better than you can, you'll end up with a war on immigrants, just like you have a war on drugs and a war on terrorism, both of which seem to be going fucking swimmingly as of lately. People will keep finding new ways to get into your country, and as that happens your glorious dictator Trump will enact more and more draconian measures to vacuum-seal your land and vilify foreigners, all the while the corporate and banking elite who own your government will use it as a way to distract people from the real problems, like how our country is slowly selling itself out to big money and signing away its sovereignty to trans-national corporations who are blinded by dollar signs and profit margins.
If you really wanted to stop immigration, maybe you should find ways to aid and support nearby 3rd world countries and increase economic opportunity in these places, instead of using people's tax dollars to fund Israeli genocide campaigns and Saudi Arabia's military arsenal. But no one will do that, because our government only likes to fund oil Sheikhs and Zionists.
>Hate to burst your bubble, but you will never stop immigration to your country so long as it has that much more economic opportunity than Latin America.
A) Not American, so opinion discarded
B) That's why we're gonna build a great beautiful wall
Also, who else /gayfortrump/ here?
Democrats don't care if one of their own is doing the bidding of the corporate elites that they claim to fight against. It only matters to them when someone of a different party does it
The wall is going to be expensive, possibly costing as much or more as the damage immigrants would do to the economy if we just let them in. When there are pressures driving immigrants from there to here, it's inevitably going to cost us one way or another.
Sandersberg wants the USA to be like Denmark. Denmark has the highest taxes and highest cost of living in the world.
It is really hard to get ahead in Denmark from just work and saving. It is hard to own a house or a car. Most of the citizenry is stuck being dependent on the government.
I'll put up with Republicans' nonsense. If it means I can keep most of what I make.
I suppose, but as far as the average citizen is concerned, having to depend on the government is preferable to being "free" but barely able to get three meals a day. Survival takes precedence over philosophical ideals such as freedom.
yeah, I used to have trouble getting food. Meat is very expensive
you know what I did? started hunting and keeping a small garden. That alone makes me freer than most people who depend on supermarkets
Clinton voters in a nutshell.
Let me ask you this: who benefits from removing that sticker? There's a difference between stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, and stealing from the rich and flushing it down the drain.
