How about ''Breakfast for champions'' ?
Absurdist, Surreal, Downright strange stuff here. Anyone read pic related? Good shit.

Have you given up on meeting other readers in real life? Every time I meet a "reader" they are nothing more than a memer;
>"yeah I love to read! twilight is my favorite series!"
>"yep I love harry potter :)"
I resist the urge to kill myself every day. I swear to christ, less than 1% of humanity reads actual books.
What are some good literature forums out there?
>Have struggled with a learning disability all my life, particularly bad at maths.
>It takes me an hour to read 30 pages, and I have to reread things frequently so they "click".
>This makes reading extremely annoying, as it takes a long time to get through a single book, and I have alot of books I want to read.
Had to deal with this shit in grade school and now I get to deal with it when doing things that are supposed to be done to escape shitty life.
Hey /lit/ this is my first piece of writing, and I'm really invested in it. I'm only eight pages in and I've scarcely revised it. Check it out.
adjectives wow i literally couldn't make it past the first ten sentences i felt drained and physically ill
you really, really, really need to work on your delivery before we even discuss any other part of your work. you are hollowly over-describing to the point of tedium and disgust for the reader.
Are there any good supplemental books to read about Aristotle to better understand his philosophy?
Aristotle is quite straight forward due to his dry, but to-the-point prose. If you've a knowledge of basic philosophical concepts, you'll be fine. Just read slowly, take notes, and drink some good tea.
Im in a bit of an identity crisis at the moment, I'm not really sure who i am.
Do you have any literature or philosophy to recommend me that is relevant?
Is this worth reading?
you might have to take one for the team, read it and tell us. i've read a lot of campbell's own work but nothing of his where he might have to choose excerpts beyond his own studies on jung's one world as a myth concept.
how to into Mishima?
What is some good ideological literature about fascism?

Silent library, hours past noon. The two were left alone, breathing heavily without muttering a word. The sounds outside, words of so many people from pleads to curses, lost themselves into white noise: voices, sirens and cries, became a faint murmur because of their mind's voice, so loud that their thoughts seemed to run as fast as they could, and yet stumbling at every step of the way.
The main doors fell. They counted the running steps coming closer: down the main hall, up the stairs, then through the hallway and to the...

What's the maximum amount of books that one should read at a time?
How do I structure more cohesive sentences?
There is a book about writing that I found in an advertising book. It's pretty old, but has some pretty good tips. The mathematics are a little over-the-top, but you'll get the gist.
It's called The Art of Plain Talk by Rudolph Flesch
