Macross Frontier had that suit they wore sometimes but I can't recall if they ever fought with it. And then you got stuff like King Gainer that had almost-human-sized mecha alongside the Overmen, if that counts.
Megabot team's shilling seems to be working. Big money and talent is being attracted to this project. I fear for what will eventually come of it. It'd be a shame if it ends up being a one sided battle where Kuratas is drowned in money.
>>13510933 I think the question is whether it's obviously based off an existing mech, like how Huckebeins were very, very clearly Gundams or how the Grungusts are generic super robots with bits of Daitarn 3 in them n whatnot. Can't say I can identify any inspiration for the Gespenst, truth be told.
>>13510913 Huckebeins are not-Gundams, Lions are not-Valks, Grungusts are not-Daitarn woth some not-Mazinger in there, Gespensts started as a not-Rider. Euzeth's ludicrously complicated scheme spanning across four games and multiple lifetimes was all to become a not-Ultraman.
So Games Workshop have a pretty good reputation for helping hobbyists out with building and painting figures. I sent them a message to ask whether their shop assistants could help me out with Gunpla, since I've never built them before and could use some first-hand help when it comes to making and painting figures. I assumed the crossover from Warhammer to Gunpla isn't that big of a stretch so it wouldn't be much of an issue.
They said they cannot help with anything they don't stock on store shelves. Out of ideas and unsure of what else I could actually... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>13510404 GW stuff is generally overpriced or way overpriced, you can source general modeling supplies like glue or clippers much cheaper from general hobby or art stores. The only thing you might want from them is paints, which are good but have the issue of dying up really fast.
>2) 0079 year Universal Century Losses in the first phase of the One Year War
Earth Federation Earth: 3.8 billion (500 million dead) The sides 1, 2, 4: somehow destroyed (2.8 billion dead) Side 5: completely destroyed (2 billion dead)
The Duchy of Zeon Side 3: 1.3 billion (untouched)
Neutrals Side 6: 900 million (unchanged)
In other words, after the "War of the one-week" actually population of the Earth Federation totaled 3.8 billion against 1.3 billion at Zeon; the remaining 5.3 billion turned into cosmic dust ... (At this scale massacre at all strange that Zabi were at least some loyal forces - in theory people who sanction whis were to destroy their own people, just fo case ...)
>And now it gets weird:
In "Gundam 0079" states that "the Sides 1, 2, 4 and 5" were completely destroyed - they crossed the big X in one of the episodes, and during the attack on the "Solomon" states that fleets Federation gathered in the ruins, "the Sides 1 and 4 ". The only notable exception is less and the whole habitable colony of "Texas".
And yet, in the "Zeta", "ZZ", and "Char`s counterattack " we see a lot of colonies on the "side 1 and 2" no signs of damage or sparse population. "Side 4", the former "Side of 5", a zone of "shallow water" filled with the debris of the colonies; "Sides 4 and 6" were also numbered, but they never appeared in the anime.
>Now, surprise - in the years 0093-0096 the population of the Spheres, according to the words and Kvess Ridden, has same 10 billion people ...
Gundam blew its load on the first show because they didn't know they were setting up for a 100 year megafranchise that won't end until the Earth is consumed in the fires of the sun. It was never prepared for more stories set in the same universe, and every time they try they need to make up and retcon shit in order to make room.
Thats how you end up with 27 secret Gundams that were also active during the OYW that everyone conveniently forgot to mention at the time, or interquels like Unicorn... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I absolutely loved DX Classic and Human Revolution. I'm not sure how I feel about the new one. I hate the Deus Ex tradition of none of your choices from the previous game mattering since it's apparently mankind's destiny for everything to be terrible forever.
But hey, it might be good. And if not, maybe the Witcher devs will pull through with their cyberpunk thing.
