>Koutetsu Jeeg gets a live action adaptation by the dagos, with a twist.
"Gabriele Mainetti’s thoroughly enjoyable, surprisingly plangent and gritty “They Call Me Jeeg” features a two-bit criminal loser who stumbles upon his powers, Toxic Avenger-style (without the deformity), and learns to care about humanity thanks to a traumatized woman who’s convinced he’s the Japanese manga character Steel Jeeg."
Because /m/ don't care about Jeeg here the fact that he's one of the coolest giant robot out there.
Instead, they'd rather whine about how bad recent Gundam is.
Also, italy = dago. spain/mexico = spic.
Not the same thing.
It's out today.
I took a look at the subs. Funimation's "Theatrical" subs, compared to the "Official" BD subs, which were supposedly the cause of the delay. It's clear that Funimation completely fucked up the metaphysical stuff. And they portrayed Shinji as being way more attached to Rei than Khara intended.
Wait, what? They actually released it? Isn't that one of the Seven Seals of the Apocalypse?
Alita: Battle Angel will begin filming this year
It will be produced by James Cameron, but it will be directed by Robert Rodriguez.
ARE YOU HYPE?
Costume looks kind of retarded and it should be called Gunm
James Cameroonie is a hack
Hollywood productions of anime have never been good unless they strip it down and take only the very core of the story, like Edge of Tomorrow/All You Need Is Kill, and even then you still have the success rate of an average movie (low)
I think OP's image is unrelated cosplay.
I'm disappointed it's not being directed by Cameron, but I'm not really surprised, since he is making all those Avatar movies. However, if Rodriguez is passionate about the project, then I will reserve judgment until I see the trailer.
Into the trash it goes. He's lost pretty much all his filmmaking talent, no longer worthy of standing in the shadow of his younger self.
I would've waited as long as it took for Cameron to finish with Avatar, but now he's letting this fucking hack ruin the IP forever.
PSA: This is out in the US and it's a canon sequel to Demonbane.
>Tomino kills UC Gundam with Reconguista
>Anno kills Eva with 3.0
>Nagano kills FSS with Gothicmade
>Kawamori kills Macross with Delta
>All of these events happened within the last 3 years
Were all these franchises sacrificed using voodoo magic just so The Force Awakens could escape the curse of the Prequels?
>Tomino kills UC Gundam with Tomino style writing but no 50 episodes so its clumsy
>Anno kills Eva with 3.0 which stands out as getting closer to the original and providing exciting 70's style action
>Nagano kills FSS with Gothicmade A story about sinewy mechs and grils that has more sinewy mechs and grils, surprising no one.
>Kawamori kills Macross with Delta, a trend that has been dawdling...

After watching some newer mecha shows, I decided to watch the original Gundam and now need to fill the void it left.
What are some must see 70s/80s mecha anime you'd recommend?
I will show them the beauty of Purus
Nothing. Later babe
Someone recently asked me why I think this guy was awesome.
I've then realized I can't say it in one or two sentences without missing anything out or making it sound bad.
Why was Treize awesome, /m/?
He's the brilliant, charismatic, aristocratic ruler we all secretly wish to follow.
The only thing he ever did wrong from what I remember is he was killed by Wufei.
Treize gives a shit about his men, and is probably the most magnificent bastard in all of Gundam. Duo and him carried the show in my eyes. I wouldn't mind being one of his men if I wasn't almost guaranteed to die.

Wow, Build Fighters was surprisingly great.
I can't wait to see how they improved on it in Try!
Become a flower!
Best grunt MS ever?
I am a Liger
The japanese sure love their ligers.
Come on, the things might be huge but they're harmless doofuses. Hardly badass material.
Why do anime fans hate mecha so much unless its Code Geass? I'm not going to try saying most of the shit I like is high class art or anything but what makes moe/waifu shit so highly rated in comparison?
They like it because they think it's revolutionary in being dumb and camp and not trying to be realistic because normalfags hate mecha anime for -being unrealistic-. To them, Geass is "we get it, us anime fans amirite?" completely letting the whole nature of the show as a melodramatic piece go over their heads.
Best fe/m/ale pilot?
obviously Karen Joshua
The up is stepped then.
